I purchased a S&W model 29 back in ‘74. When I saw this pistol I decided to give it a try. Was not disappointed. Only problem I had was that the safety wouldn’t engage.

Be sure to have plenty of CO2 and bb’s; you’ll be spending a lot of time on your at home range!

The color is not as shown in the pictures which is black. It comes in a smoky gray finish.

Comes in a nice box. Looks like a real firearm.

The balance of this pistol is WAY off, very forward heavy. Make it with a 6 inch rifled .22 pellet barrel and you would have a winner.

If you are looking for a nice realistic replica, this gun is fine for that. If you are looking for something that you actually want to shoot a lot with and accurately look elsewhere. A real 44 magnum is something made more for hunting and self defense than shooting a 100 or more rounds through at some cans or whatever, more of a showpiece than a everyday shooter. The add says max velocity 400+ fps and 80 shots, it's more like 60 shots and 350 fps with bb's (chrono graphed) Accuracy is so so, smooth bore. I originally purchased this because I wanted an accurate bb revolver with adjustable sights and I thought that because of the longer barrel and quality this would get the job done, and it didn't work out that way for me. I much prefer my Umarex Brodax over this, and it is about $100 less.

I bought this as a Christmas present for my brother, he's a huge fan of Taxi Driver and with the 8 inch barrel it would be a one to one of the gun that Travis Bickle has in the film. When he opened the gun on Christmas both of us were shocked by the feel and weight, it honestly feels like any real firearm I've ever handled. Both single and double action feels crisp and enjoyable, and the plunger for the bullets is silky smooth. Even though its going to mostly be used as a display item next to other Taxi Driver memorabilia, we decided to go out and shoot a couple bbs at some cans and boy was it a blast. Could not recommend more for those looking to shoot or admire!

The only small complaint I have is that it did seem to use a bit more co2, although it is a 44 magnum so I could see the reasoning for wanting more power, noise, and smoke.

If you're going to buy one as a present like I did, buy 2. you'll get jealous fast!!

Realistic , big, Dirty Harry. Amazingly accurate shooting pellets. Sights are excellent. Smooth action. Excellent single action trigger

Crane/cylinder closing detent spring could be stronger

This is an excellent replica. It makes a great pop gun when fired unloaded.

the weight, look,and feel. accuracy

trigger pull is a little hefty for accurate shooting, i suggest shooting in single action for precision. wood grips for a little upcharge would be nice. overall is still a great piece

mine was great out of the box, however after a few months of ahooting it (about 300 rounds) my gun doesn't cycle anymore. it's permanently jammed. i think mine may be a dud but i will buy another just because it was fun to shoot regardless

Pretty much everything. The design and manufacture are spot on. I have the actual S&W Model 29 version and it is close enough to use as a display in a safe manner. I don't plan to shoot it so I won't rate its accuracy.

Only that I wish Umarex would sell the 6.5" barrel of the actual Dirty Harry gun in the US. Why is it only available in the UK and Canada? Otherwise (aside from the plastic "screw" in the stocks), I have no complaints.

As the proud owner of more than one actual S&W .44 mag Model 29s, I was so impressed with this version! Authentic in not only look and feel, but overall, right down to the action, this is a beautiful piece of work. Heck, I might have foregone the cost of a couple of the real deals for a couple of these. I'm going to use it as a display piece so as not to have to display the real ones with trigger locks. Gorgeous job, Umarex. I just wish they would sell the 6.5" barrel (THE Dirty Harry gun) in the US instead of just the UK/Canada. Licensing issues , I guess?

if you like a long revolver you will like this, strong and accurate shots, good replica to have in your collection.

the trigger color

You can shoot pellets with this gun using shells from the Colt Pacemaker pellet version.

Not the biggest fan of this gun. It has a very heavy trigger pull and mine came with scratches. The outside is just paint. Though it still looks nice the practicality is not there and I just got a bad deal with the paint. Very nice and heavy though.
