Power not as advertised. Has real problems shooting bb’s Weight good, looks good

CO2 cylinder was a little difficult to load/unload, otherwise, it shoot well. I like the authentic weight and distribution.

Works really nice with a full air cartridge, not so well without out. Hard to tell how much is left in the cylinder so a simple swap-out is all it takes, still cheaper than 9mm.

It is truly the spitting image and weight of my real 229 . Shoots great after some practice. Very happy with my decision to purchase it.

Being a retired LE and growing up on a rural ranch, I put on a pistol when I put on my pants in the morning. A n on duty assault eventually took most of my eye sight so for the last decade an iron sighted handgun was worthless to me. When realizing I could put a reflex sight on this handgun, it was a great incentive. And it all worked, I can shoot once again. The co2 loading design is great.

Perhaps offer a P229 with the option to use the Sig belt fed design magazine. Include the rear sight replacement for the installation of the Sig Air reflex sight.

Some have had trouble with the magazine, however mine worked very well with Crosman pellets, but then it is a 8 shooter with the existing magazine. Yes some of the P229 controls are for looks only but really this is a $129.00 pellet gun. I had trouble removing the co2 cartridge’s, turning the gun upside down and shaking the gun allows the empty cartridge to fall out. With the design of the cartridge loading you could reload the cartridge easily. The barrel threads are not compatible with most legal Airgun silencers, although Airgun Capital does make an adapter that will fix that, but this pistol shooting at 380 fps with co2 does not need one it is quiet. It is accurate at co2 pistol distances and has never jammed.

It is a quality gun. However, you have to take the clip out after every shot and advance the next pellet. It is a real annoyance.

After owning the Sig air rifle, which was amazing, I decided to give this a try. Feels like the real thing. A bit of a pain to load, but is pretty powerful. Accuracy is still under development as I haven't done any accurate testing, just functioning. It did arrive with a part that was somewhere inside, but just fell out when I took the grips off. Can't find it on the parts list and doesn't appear to have a purpose. Oh well. Other than that it is scary close to the real thing, size, weight, blowback are spot on.

100% Realistic size, 60% realistic trigger action/pull. The short section of .177 rifled barrel is fixed (does not move) when the slide cycles. In fact, the slide cycling is just for realism... it has no other function. Pellets are held in a rotary holder with 8 holes; this is positioned between the chamber and the CO2 port. Perfect alignment is required to have the pellet in position to fire. A full release of the trigger is required for the internal pawl to rotate the magazine's "pellet holder" to the next position. If anything prevents a full/perfect rotation of the magazine pellet holder, it will be misaligned with the barrel and the pellet does not fire despite a release of CO2. The pellet will still be in the magazine, but now be deformed. Accuracy is about 4" at 10 yards for the first 40~45 shots with a fresh CO2 cylinder; after that it begins to drop off and by 60 shots the slide doesn't cycle. The SigAir P229 only comes with one (1) magazine; it should have two (2). As a result, one must purchase the extra magazine 2-pack. The barrel's muzzle appears to be threaded and have a thread protector screwed on... but mine will not unscrew with reasonable (hands only) force. It may not really be removable. The rear sight is non-adjustable, but the front sight might be. I need to try adjusting it as my gun shoots to the left of point-of-aim.

Feels heavy just like my p226 9 mm cant say enough about how it feels in my hand! I loads easy and I bought more loading cartridges just to be sure when I get ready t shoot I have plenty of ammo!
