I like the weight, look and feel of the P229 blowback. I would have liked a little more power/distance, but I didn't order it for target shooting as much as for fun and practice. The moving slide is such a great feature on this.

Love it! Feels and almost handles like a real pistol (some levers are just for show like the take down lever). The weight is about the same as my Sig mosquito. Great for plinking and I really like the magazine that holds pellets or bb's. Great gift to get to teach beginners to shoot with this air pistol having recoil and slide movement.

Bought it for a gift. He is excited and enjoying it very much.

Not a bad BB/pellet gun, my only issues with it are the red dot mounting and a lack of documentation in the box. The red dot requires a mounting plate that is secured to the slide by 2 screws underneath the slide and doesn’t sit completely flush, there is a little lift on the forward part of the mounting plate. The red dot is then installed on the plate with 2 screws from the top like most. That lift on the plate has minimal impact on the dot but in my opinion the Sig branded re dot should be a direct fit to a Sig airgun much like my Sig P229 Legion with Sig custom shop slide. Capacity is decent with the double sided mag but the mag release is super sensitive and just brushing it lightly will drop the mag. Once you get everything set up it is a fun little airgun and the blowback slide does a pretty good job of simulating a P229’s action. If you own a P229 handgun and want a cheap way to get in some practice in your backyard this is the ticket, weight and feel is pretty close to the actual handgun. As always the website was easy to navigate and order from.

This air pistol works well-I was suprised by the weight and how much detail it had.

The weight is right, the look is too. The decocker doesn't spring back up as I anticipated. Instead, it is being used as a safety. I do wish the mag held more pellets/BBs. Overall, I'm very happy with it.

Small issues cost it a star, magazine release too sensitive, easy to drop mag. Also,not a big fan of the new dual-ended 8 shot capacity although it is more dependable than the 20 shot in my M17. Finally, Sig recommends you use their pellets in the weapon. I have found that nothing else will work without failing. Still, a nice addition to my collection, I would buy it again.
