Barra 400E Gen 2 Tan Reviews

Didn't perform as advertised. First 20 or so shots from mag only gives 80-120fps before speeding up to the advertised ~425fps. Unlike Crossman R1, charge handle is non-functional and there is no blowback effect. Things I liked are the metal construction and fairly stable fps after the first half of magazine is used up.

It's the most fun BB gun I ever owned. The only issue is I spend more time reloading than shooting. You really need to make a 1000 drum to cut down on reload time, it shouldn't be all that difficult.

So im very happy with my purchases, powerful, accurate and very fun for plinking, would also like to add very simple to load in seconds as easy as it gets!

I've had this For a 400e gen 2 for over a month and I was pleasantly surprised. It feels like the real deal and is fun to shoot. I’m glad I got 3 extra magazines and an extra battery

I’m having a lot of fun with this full automatic BB rifle,a lot of my friends didn’t know that this was available to buy. They were impressed how accurate it is. I’m 75 years old and have never shot full automatic BB gun .once my sons shoot this they will they will want one to. I am glad that I decided to get one. Having fun in Ohio.

Overall I really like this BB Gun with only one small complaint and that is I wish it had slightly more FPS. I added a red dot optic and while it is very accurate I can actually see the BB's leaving the barrel. I am hoping in the future these rifles could have a more powerful motor. The construction of this rifle is very nice and it is very easy to operate right out of the box. The battery powered motor is way more consistent than co2 powered rifles and again just wish it packed more of a punch. I have at least a thousand shots with it so far and it is holding up well.

Better than I ever thought it would be. Fun to shoot, only problem with it is it will cost me a fortune in BB's, but that's a good problem! I got a scope for it and can disintegrate the bullseye on full auto. Going to try and thin out the rabbits and red squirrels around here. Good thing I bought a extra mag. that holds 100 BB's otherwise I would be loading mag that came with it every 5 minuets. This is really a fun gun and well worth what it costs. FUN! FUN! FUN!

This air gun is absolutely amazing the fill the weight all of the aesthetics is just like an AR if you want to train your child or to get your your kid custom to a firearm in AR style without the noise this is it this thing runs smooth it’s easy to load it’s easy to load the magazines easy to load up the battery this thing is very nice and it shoots very well I’ve had no issues with it

The all metal 400e has a very realistic feel to it. At just over 6lbs. Fun to shoot and accurate enough for any BB gun. It has power and accuracy. The magazines can stop feeding sometimes. When you take appropriate action to clear the issue, you will loose a few BBs every time. Other than mag. feed, I find this 400e lots of fun.

This reply is directed at everyone out there that is leaving negative reviews because of bb jambing issues. It’s the bb’s and NOT the rifle. I have owned my 400e, gen2 for just over a year now. I was having all the same jamming issues as all of you negative reviewers. I must have tried 6 different brands of bb’s with the same results, intermittent jambs. I finally bit the bullet, and ordered a 6,000 count bottle of Barras’ premium zinc coated bb’s. Guess what, I’m on my 4th 6K count bottle of Barras’ bb’s without one single jamb. That’s zero jambs in over 18,000 shots fired. I find that to be a repudiation of the poor quality of bb’s on the market, and not the quality of this incredible Barra 400E AER. Congratulations Barra! You have engineered, and brought to market the finest full auto .177bb rifle on the planet, PERIOD!
