Page 2 of 14 - Umarex Notos Carbine Reviews

Compact, light weight

Great air rifle

It's light, quiet enough and a great carry squirrel gun. Mine is very accurate and best of all is the price. I love this carbine. If you are thinking about purchasing a Notos, just do it, you won't be sorry.

Umarex needs to replace the defective designed magazines, they are totally useless. Can not trust them not to at anytime to jam up! The Notos is scored 5 stars even with the bad designed mags, not the gun's fault Umarex stuck it bad mags.

Plan on purchasing 3rd party mags if you want a proper functioning repeater. At least it came with a single shot tray so I could enjoy shooting the gun without having to stop and un-jam the pellet malfunction cause by the defective designed magazine while waiting for my 3rd party mags to arrive.

It's good quality for the price. That's why I call it the ruger 10 22 of the airgun world. There are so many custom parts for this gun. Everyone in the airgun world should have 1,2,or 3. Absolutely a great project to work on. I have two. May but a third once I finish my second project. Awesome gun 100%

A removable moderator

It is a great starter gun for children

It’s a great gun and accurate and light short little gun and has plenty of power and sighted in at 22 yards and does everything I want it to

Nothing that I have noticed

Light weight accuracy price.

Nothing

1/2 inch groups at 40 yard's 21 regulated shots you can't go wrong.

Very nice all around air rifle very upgradable

Great small pcp and price point and quality is great

When my package arrived the box was damaged and opened and everything was moved around and open. Concerned they sent me a used gun but so far gun is shooting well.

1. ability to adjust the regulator. 2. Simple Design 3. Easy to take apart and put back together. 4. Adjustable Trigger - limited but enough to be useful.

Dump the non-standard o-rings. I like to work on my guns and always buy a full set of O-Rings to repair what I damage. Some of the sizes had 6-month lead times. The open sights cannot be used with the included stock. It is impossible to get your face low enough to use the open sights. Either correct the stock or somehow elevate the open sights about an inch. Make the moderator removable. Would simplify certain modifications. Better trigger adjustment, would like to get down to 1.5 pounds, currently seems to limit at 2.5 pounds.

Good solid entry level gun with features of more expensive guns. I'm setting mine for 12 foot pounds to be back yard friendly. The low price and adjustability make a nice back yard plinker and target gun.

Small. Quiet. Accurate. Everything works well. It's my first airgun so I don't have anything to compare to other than my rimfire .22's. But all in all it was exactly what I wanted. An affordable, small, accurate and quiet back yard pest management system. I don't think I could have done any better for the money spent!

Nothing that wouldn't make the price higher in the end! Maybe include the open sights to make it usable out of the box?

I like the overall looks, weight, and feel of this air rifle. Adapting a red dot was very easy and to zero the rifle was within three shots. I zeroed for 30 yards and the zero hasn't moved in over 700 shots.

The magazine needs to be fixed. Each pellet wants to tilt up when loading.

I bought this rifle over a Hatsan Jet II... which I am sorry for buying. Don't waste your money on a Jet II and buy this one...
