I like the handling of the rifle, very easy. It brings back the memories of my youth Daisy Red Raider.

I would like a wood stock, I know there was one and assume that Umarex opted for the plastic to make it more affordable. But many of us would be willing to pay for a rasonable version with the wood stock.

I used it at distances from 8 yards to 10 meters. It is very accurate. The trigger pull weight is good, around 3.0 lbs. The average BB velocity is 282 fpas, very near to the claimed 300 fps by Umarex. I have PCP and brake-barrel rifles, this one is for pure fun in my backyard; so far, it is.

This is a great accurate plinking bb gun at 35 feet. Can't wait to get the wood stock version. 5 STARS

I like the peep sight, but the v wing sight is easier to sight in. Should have sight options. Otherwise a fun can plinker.

It’s a very good rounded gun. Just make sure to add gun oil or it will jam a lot. I wouldn’t really buy this for a little kid because the reloading force is very strong like it takes 5 pounds just to lift up the thing.

It’s awesome. Love the wood and the weight. The trigger is noticeably better then other lever guns Iv tried. Found after every 25 shots or so running a dry patch down it to get the extra oil out improves accuracy. Liked it so much I bought another!

I am surprised at all the high accuracy ratings on this, because mine sure wasn't. I own 5 Daisy Red Ryders, in one form or another and the worst of them could shoot circles around this. I tried Daisy and Umarex BB's in it and the spread was 7 inches from the top to the bottom and all the rest somewhere in between I was shooting at 30ft, so maybe all the others were shooting closer, can't say. If I was shooting at a soda can from this distance it might have gotten hit 3 out of ten times. Every thing else with the gun is fine. If this is going to be your first gun of this type, go with the Daisy, as far as customizing there is nothing out there for the Marlin, at least with the Daisy you have the option of a scope mount and there are lots of other things on E-bay that you can add to it. I really wanted to like this gun, maybe I got a dud.

I like the large loop cocking lever and the heft of this rifle.

Cocking is a little hard

Great buy in plastic or wood, but wood is worth extra $10 dollars.

Great gun, the build quality is very good. Glad I got the wood stock. It's even better than I expected.

This is perfect for bigger kid or adult. Good size and weight. The dust devil bb works really well in this rifle. I use the rifle on a gamo style target trap( the really small one). The rule has just enough power to turn the bb into dust when hitting the target. About 10-12 ft, these are really small 1” target in the trap. The rifle will store a lot more than 650 rounds. I really think this set up is perfect for what I want.

The lever loop is a little small for big palm. It fits me. I with it is a little bigger and thicker. A I put padding around the loop.

Buy the dust devil bb if you don’t want the bb bouncing everything when plinking indoor
