Macavity Arms Agility MA2 Long Reviews

The gun is unique in its own right. It truly is worth owning. It has thought out features like the integrated barrel band making the unit sturdy and rigid. The AR style stock has less slack than most. Macavity includes a universal tool to tighten it in place as well as a full compliment of O-rings for a future rebuild. Loading a single pellet isn't difficult with some practice even though there is no tray for this purpose. Accuracy is good and will probably improve with pellet experimentation and a break in.

Add fiber optic open sights. A gun at this price should have them. A single shot tray as well.

I wish that Pyramyd Air would allow for editing. Maybe it's there and I haven't noticed. I thought of these points after submitting the initial review.

It looks formidable. Heavy and feels quality. Dual side gauges. Shoulders nicely. Side lever cocking. Foster fitting rather than a side probe. 20 mm picatinny rail top and bottom. Comes with 3 magazines and a suppressor. 3 year warranty, Large 25 bar reservoir. 44 fpe and nearly 900 fps.. It is awesome!

Add a single shot tray and adjustable cheek rest. A little lower price point.

Consider the MA3 but if you want easier hands on tuning. Understand that it is considerably more expensive. Although the MA2 is a little expensive, I'm happy I bought this one. Great addition to a collection. Pyramyd Air is a terrific resource! Thank You!

Great pcp bought .177 as accurate as my shakes don't screw up even with cheap pellets phenomenal shot cont smooth action.

Moderator empty tube easily fixed with stacked with soda bottle caps made into baffles now as quiet as boughten one. Mags are great but also tricky to load.

Great value worth the money.

Liked the side lever and trigger. Magazine was easy to load. Loved they sent three mags.

The stock was loose. Not that easy to adjust.

Accuracy was the reason for the return. Was advised to change optics. Switched scope from my Notos. Notos shot fine, still struggled with macavity. Paid for 10 for 10 test. Thought it strange that FPS was 100 fps slower than advertised with same pellets and grains they said would go 890 fps.

I went to the range today and shot the Macavity agility .25 today. I was only at 12yds but getting sub half inch using a mantis scope and AEA 25.4g pellets. I also installed the additional baffles, the work great 30 shots and only 500 or 600 psi of air.

Have the additional baffles come installed with on price increase.

I found the trigger to be very nice.

Accurate right out of the box. Seems well built. Smooth sidelever.

The stock "moderator" is useless. Makes no difference to the report, at least in .30 caliber. It is not a level "2, low-medium" in volume.

The reviews saying that the lower picatinny mount is flimsy are off-base. Unless you are seriously tweaking it, I don't see an issue.

It was light it had foster fitting had a very smooth cycling, mechanism side, action, well-made

4500psi The nuts and the bolts on the guns should be more tight

Tighten up the bolts and screws soon as you buy the gun

Light weight and easy to shoot out of the box

For the price under $500 no need to change

AEA pellet 25.3 gr is the best for target shooting

I love the way it handles I love the way it shoots and the delivery was on time and I didn't have no problems and no damage to my item so my cavity arms thank you and I will be dealing with y'all for a long long time thank you

The only thing I would change on it is the moderator that's the only thing I would change

Dont let my low rating foool you...i love my gun...i just have a few complaints...its accurate and shoots slugs..plus i get a decent shot count...amd the pic mount on th3 bottom for the bipod...its got a smqll foot print compared to my airqcuda..i like how the monometers are visibl3 from the side...id lik3 to get a barrel in 22 cal and see if it works for my airacuda max since i know the regulators ar3 interchangable...cocking mech is very nice

It wont hold air becsuse reg moves and blows o rings...the bipod mount is sloppy flimsey...id like to get an externally adjustable reg gun but i knew what i was getting ehen i got it but hindsight you know...the biggest issue i have is taking stock off with the exposed trigger seems like a drastic oversight..

This gun shoots slugs nicely...my .22 jts airacuda max is more accurate but the ma2 in .25 shot count is higher...the regs are interchangable between them ..
