Wicked Ridge Commander 400 Reviews

Easy to setup out of box. Watch videos on youtube first. Changed 2032 battery in scope to Duracell and added some limb dampeners to quiet down for hunting season. Zeroed crossbow with Schwacker #207 broadheads. Accurate with good trigger too. Acudraw system works great but is noisy, not a big deal however

This is my first crossbow and it definitely delivers! The bow is very accurate now that I have gotten used to the trigger and scope and have sent some bolts down range. Overall I am very happy with the purchase of the bow and the lighted bolts. The two things that I wish were better would be the factory string is starting to fray with about a 100 shots and the crank string has a fray as well. I wish the trigger was a tad lighter but that is about it. I would definitely recommend this bow to anyone starting out. Thanks for making a great bow TenPoint!

This is my first crossbow. Bought several months ago to train with to get ready for deer season. I've only ever used compound bows or recurve bows. Thought I'd give it a try. And man I tell ya, I love this thing! Accurate right out of the box. Trained my self out to 70 yards. Very light weight. Very easy to use. Bow season opened September 12th. here in North Carolina. And within 4 hours, I had dropped a 10 point Whitetail! So I my opinion, this crossbow is awesome! I will be purchasing another one if I ever wear this one out! Thanks for making such an awesome product Tenpoint! Thanks guys!

The Wicked Ridge Commander 400 is the best crossbow for the money, hands down. Straight out of the box you can see the craftsmanship in this bow. Went to sight it in and it was dead on. No adjustments made at all. 20, 30, and 40 yard pin and or dot, all on the money. The accu draw is wonderful as well. Makes loading the crossbow super easy.

Crossbow is extremely accurate and fast. After 3 shots and some slight adjustments I was getting 1”-1.5” groupings at 40 yards. Feels well balanced and durable. So far seems like a very solid well built crossbow. Can’t wait to try it out in the field.

I got this bow for my grandson. I wanted an American made crossbow. Easy to sight in, just few shots is all it took. It shoots very flat and accurate. We pick out a different bullseye each shot to protect the arrows. Scope is very clear. Overall seems to be a well made crossbow.

This is my first crossbow and I'm very happy with it! I've shot it about 15 times so far and it was accurate out of the box just a few small tweaks and I was on zero. I am a new hunter and can't wait to experience my first hunt with my new crossbow. I'm glad I spent the money I did and got a upper mid tier crossbow from wicked ridge by tenpoint for a great value. I was surprised how lightweight and easy to hold it is. It is the perfect crossbow for anyone who is trying to get into archery or bow hunting without breaking the bank. I would like to thank you tenpoint for making such a quality crossbow available to people on a budget like me. It's a small piece to making my dreams come true. It will surely give me or anyone using this crossbow an edge in the field. Wish me luck in becoming a proficient hunter.

Purchased about a week ago, out of the box the scope was right on the money. I truly hope you stand behind your product. I purchased wicked ridge because of the 5 year warranty, and the recommendations from friends.

A bit heavier than my barnett expedition, accuracy seems great so far, scope is a lot nicer than what my barnett came with, assembly was a little trickier than expected as the plastic vibration dampener we came off in shipping and the YouTube video didn't address it. This bow may be a bit quieter than my barnett but not much, and the Cranking is noisy but consistent cocking is appreciated. I do wish it had an adjustable stock and ambidextrous safety( you can switch it side to side but I want it on both at the same time). Overall I would say excellent value.

The commander 400 is a reliable crossbow and very affordable for its value. Out of the box it patterns well between 20 and 40 yards? Groups within a 2” circle and is light enough and shoots fast. I’ve only shot target so far. Looking forward to using it on Whitetail this season. It replaces a 15 year-old TenPoint that I owned and is much lighter, quieter, and faster than that crossbow. Technology continues to improve as does the cost of equipment. Affordability is important to me.
