Purchased the Longbeard XR in 20 Gague for my Benelli M2. My initial impression with the Longbeard choke and ammo was great until I went to fire the 2nd shot. CLICK! Round after round continued to get stuck in the feed tube, to the point I had to disassemble the shotgun. I have had zero issues with normal 2 3/4 game loads. But from what I've now read, this seems to be a common issue. These did pattern great and may perform in other guns, but I didnt by a 3 shot semiauto to have it perform like a single shot.

Shot dozens of birds with this combo. Started using a Carlsons XR choke designed for this particular load and the results are dead birds and an extended 60 yard range. Thank you for manufacturing such a fine product. I never think twice about chambering your ammunition.

I've been using these shells in 12 and and 20 gauge. Winchester really hit it out the park with these shells.

Went back to using 12 ga 3 inch 1 3/4 oz #5 Longbeard ammo. April 1st 2020 was season opener for me. Had a nice gobbler come strolling in at 8:30 am, 10 inch beard, 1 inch spur, 20 lbs. 15 yd shot, stone dead! Then today, April 2nd I had another nice gobbler come to my call at 4:15 pm. 25 yds! 20 lbs, 9 3/4 inch beard and 1 inch spur! These Longbeards do a number on turkeys! Rem. 870, 26 inch barrel, .665 Indian Creek choke tube and Tru-Glo Pro-Series Magnum Gobble Dot sight!

Very satisfied with these shells. At 40yrds I did a comparison between the Winchester Double X(6shot)and the Long Beards XR(4shot)using the PatternMaster Code Black Turkey Choke Tube in a Browning Maxus. As you can see in the photo the differences. The LB XR she’ll was much tighter.

This past spring I was lucky in enough to call in a rare smoke phase Turkey and harvest the long beard with some Long Beard ammo! Quite possibly the best Turkey hunt I have ever had! No flop with this bird- stone cold dead!

#4s have always been my favorite in the spring woods.....now with LongBeardXR in #4s my lethal range has been increased and remains ethical. Pattern density and hits on target have been doubled when compared to plain old lead loads which is bad news for the Gobblers! Give-'em a try, you will not be disappointed.

First year shooting Long Beard XR ammo (was shooting Hevi-shot) out of my Winchester 1300 in 12 Ga and I was definitely impressed. Main thing is when the turkey is close (within 15 yards) you better be steady and have your aiming spot locked in. Missed a turkey at 10 yards opening weekend in MO (not the ammo's fault but my own) when he came in silent to my calling location. The other two turkeys I shot however did not fair as well as that first one. Both were taken at around 25 - 30 yards and the biggest thing I noticed was that I had ZERO pellets in the breast. I aim pretty close to the base of the neck and the pattern held so well there was no damage to the breast meat which was awesome. This is my new turkey ammo from here moving forward.

Slammed two nice toms with the 3.5" #5 s. One at 28yds the other at 50yds. Both one shot bang flops. These pattern real good with my Winchester SXP with Primos Tight wad choke.

Wounded 1 bird, and missed two others, at about thirty yds. Two birds just stood there like nothing happened have no idea where the shot hit ! It was like the shot had fallen out ! Very upset, I was a huge Winchester fan ! Was!
