This round has been the only thing I’ve used on deer for years. Haven’t had one run out sight since I’ve been using this ammo. Ballistic Silvertip is by far the deadliest round out there and I won’t be using anything else.

i have hunted with 168 gr BST in 30-06 and 130 gr BST in .270 for about 10 years. First time I tried for a tight group with my .270 that ammo went 3 shots measured .169" at 100 yards with my Rem M700. First time at 300 yards that ammo went 3 shots at 300 yards measured 13/16". Last time at the range (last week) I shot My Rem M721 30-06 3 times. It put that ammo twice on the unknown sized gong at an unknown distance (found out later it was 600 yards) then that ammo hit the 3" sticky post-it note I used as a target with 1 shot at 100 yards. Good enough for hunting. Every animal except 1, including an old black bear shot at 34 yards with the 130 gr BST has fallen dead immediately. One buck shot at 12 yards thru the heart hopped twice. Shoot a thin skinned animal in the chest with a BST you don't follow any blood trail you just go find where it fell.

I've shot Ballistic Silvertips with my Savage .300 WSM for over 10 years now. I've knocked down every animal I've ever shot at with this ammo. So impressed I only use the 150 grain to hunt elk and mule deer. I've knocked down elk at 500 yards no problem. Not just hit them and had to search, but stopped them dead in their tracks. I'm confident that I won't be using another ammo anytime soon. Best out of the box ammo that money can buy.

I shoot a Browning Bar Safari 7mm Rem Mag. I have tried Hornady ELD and Remington Nosler Trophy. Nothing groups like the Winchester Ballistic Silvertip. Awsome round with serious knockdown power.
