Page 5 of 6 - Winchester USA 308Win 147gr Full Reviews

Have to say this is some of the worst factory ammunition I have used in a few decades. Reviewed it in three different 6.5 Creedmoor rifles and found it to be very inaccurate. Began to wonder why. Pulled the bullets and replaced them with a 123gr bullet from a different manufacturer....powder, primer, and brass remained the same. The results were consistent three shot groups of less than 1 MOA in all three Creedmoor rifles used before.

Brass does not work in an AR consistently. .010 too short. Also is crimped wrong. Let's the shell slide past the headspace.

Bought several boxes of this ammunition hoping to use it to break in my new 6.5 Creedmore upper for my RRA LAR-8. Could not but to notice that there were some noticable differences in overall cartridge length. Some rounds were seated to the cannalure, some were seated deeper and some were seated long (the bullet was not seated to the cannalure) some were so long that they would not fit in the magazine. The grouping of the rounds fired were noticably inconsistant.

With a brand like Winchester you'd think you'll get better quality than is.....

Great product that deliverance more than the advertised pergormance.

Bought 3 20rnd. Boxes 2 out of 60rnds yhe bullet is pushed all the way down in the shell and they are all inconsistent wouldn't recommend

This ammo is awesome. I shot this through my chronograph and they all shot within 15fps. The ammo grouped great and with the price of this ammo you can't go wrong.

I have several cheaper lower end MSR's and I run this ammo through them monthly...NO issues on the cheap guns! I like the bigger box count as well so I don't have to buy a bunch of 20rd boxes. Groupings are consistent as well.

The 180 round pack is perfect for a quick trip to the range as it loads 6 magazines and you don't have to worry about have too little or too much. The rounds are orientated and separated and I didn't have any issues with them going bang.

My savage axis shoots these into one hole at 100 yards. Works wonders on everything from prairie dogs to closer range deer (200 yards and under). Your experience may vary.
