Things I liked:

PA shipped em fast, great people

Things I would have changed:

Decent packaging to keep the bullets from bashing each other up in transit. They were all in battered shape when received

What others should know:

Great concept that should have shot well from my Sam Yang 909, but they were out of round and the front two bands were way under bore diameter. Do yourself a favour and stay away from them. Accuracy was pretty dismal

Things I liked:

What I expected.

Things I would have changed:

Should get at least 100 pellets for the price.

What others should know:

They are not pellet shaped but bullet shaped. The average weight per bullet per box was 159gr. The spread was between 161gr to 157gr. The caliber came in at .458 on average.

Things I liked:

accuracy, quality, velocity

Things I would have changed:

offer more slugs for the money. A box of centerfire ammo cost about the same as these, but with centerfire you get brass, gun powder, primer, slug. With these you just get the slug, but it almost cost the same. The price should be less or you should get more for the same price.

What others should know:

Shoots with a flat trajectory, very accurate, seats very well in the barrel of the sam yang 909. You get higher velocities and its not to light so the energy is carried down range and give you some good long range shots.

  • Don from USA asked:

Is it true these are too big for the Barrel of the Hatsan Hercules .25, but will only fit the Mag clip?

    • Don from USA answered:

OH NO I was talking about my Hercules .45 not .25 lol So i made a typo lol

    • Tyler Patner from USA answered:

Well, they're .45.....so yes, wayyyyy too big for a .25 cal rifle

  • Don from USA asked:

I hear that Vortex .45 Caliber Big Bore Supreme Pellets 168 Gr were made especially for the Hatsan Hercules over these?

    • Tyler Patner from USA answered:

I am not familiar with the Hatsan slugs, but it's possible they are made by the same manufacturer (which would explain the shape similarities). PA doesn't carry the Vortex ammo, so they're going to show you what they recommend of what they offer. That certainly doesn't mean that those are the only ammo options on the market.

    • Don from USA answered:

Yes of course it makes sense so out of the two listed here which would be best as the 180Gr looks just like the Hatsan Vortex 168Gr Well then why would they advertise these are recommended for this on Pyramid web site. I would hate to think i wasted my money

    • Tyler Patner from USA answered:

Vortex is Hatsan's brand of pellet, so that would make sense
