Want the best pump made today? Then there's only one choice: Hill.

According to airgun writer Tom Gaylord, Hill hand pumps are the cream of the crop. They don't break down, they're easy to maintain, they're easy to field-strip and reassemble, and they're reliable. How reliable, you ask? Tom says his Hill pump is still the only one that continues to work -- and he's tested a lot of hand pumps.

The Mk4 version of the pump is super-efficient, because it extracts the maximum amount of air from each stroke. That means you don't have to pump as much. If you just want a pump that works and gives you more value than what you paid, Hill is the only option.

Included in this kit is the tried and true Dry-Pac system that removes up to 90% of the moisture in the air that the pump is taking in. Also included is a female quick disconnect fitting that threads right onto the end of the hose. No more threading on fill probes or needing to purchase an extra fitting, this kit is ready to go!

Things I liked: Works well for me. It's the only pump I've tried so far, so I have nothing to compare it to.

Things I would have changed: Plastic feet on a pump in this price range. Should be at least aluminium to aide heat sink.

What others should know: So far it's a great pump. However my 140 pound frame has a hard time getting above 4000 psi.

Things I liked: Easier to pump than my "Chinese" pump and more efficient.

Things I would have changed: Make hand grips softer.

What others should know: Mine shipped without the Foster female quick disconnect fitting it was suppose to have. I contacted Pyramyd and they sent a replacement free.

  • Howard from USA asked:

Good day. Are there any additional add-ons I need to get to use this as a back up to the installed system on the Seneca Aspen? Thanks.

    • Mark from USA:

You do not need anything else. The Hill MkIV pump will connect to the Aspen.

  • CHITA from Romania asked:

Can I load a compressed air cylinder for a Walther 1250 Dominator?

    • Tyler from USA:

Sure. Will be tough to get to the 300 BAR max, but you can definitely fill it. Make sure you check out the PCP hookup section to get all the right adapters.

  • deadeye from USA asked:

Has anybody rebuilt one of these. After little use mine will not pump when probe is in rifle, but will when probe is not inserted in port. Which seal I'd most likely the culprit?

    • Tyler from USA:

Give the tech team at Pyramyd Air a call, they can probably help you trouble shoot
