Things I liked: This is a wonderful thing for a hunter that makes a living doing pest elimination and of course for that deer hunter that wants to show off that trophy buck he just bagged. I have this mounted onto a sun optics 3-9x32 scope with rails on the scope body. That way I can use the set up un my condor ot my talon or swap it out onto my mossberg 100atr and catch every hunt... at least the exciting parts.
Things I would have changed: Maybe make it with a viewfinder so I can get an instant replay in case a shot was in doubt. Also Crosman needs to make the on/record remote they said they were going to make. They said they aren't going to put one out.
What others should know: Handy for a hunter.
Things I liked: Excellent for pest control when you need to show proof of kill and don't want to carry the animals all over the place. That can be rather unpleasant work when doing something like clearing barns of rats or fields of other pests, or ponds of muskrats that often sink when killed so you have no proof it is eliminated. Put a dovetail to weaver adapter on the mount and it mates up nicely to an airforce tri-rail adapter leaving room for other goodies in the airforce gun.
Things I would have changed: Perhaps make the remote on-off switch as it says on the package. Crosman says it has no plans to make one. It would come in handy since there is a place to hook one in to the camera. Then I could mount this anywhere on the gun. Instead I have to put it in easy reach.
What others should know: Really a great hunting accessory. Imagine bragging about the trophy buck you brag about and nobody believes you so you whip out the chip from the camera and show it to them.
Things I liked: What's not to like about a camera mounted on your gun. It's got alot of practical uses from resolving an airsoft battle if your opponent refuses to admit defeat, to verifying a kill in the field when things get going too fast for you to realize what just happened. I've had a few pest hunts like that when I wish I could get an instant replay. Now I can.
Things I would have changed: Make the remote cables available. Crosman says they have no plans to make them available since they are having a hard time selling the cameras. The HD version is already obsoleted because nobody was willing to sell them
What others should know: This is an awsome must have for your hunting or airsoft gun.
