Things I liked: When I bought my ar15 inspired crosman m4-177 I knew that I wanted to upgrade the factory iron sight and I bought this rear sight plus a UTG ar15 front sight with 7 different kns precision front sight posts. I like the added weight from full metal iron sights on my mostly plastic air rifle and I like the improved accuracy potential.
Things I would have changed: Nothing...it is what it is, and ar15 rear sight and it works great.
What others should know: Don't put it on a nitro piston crosman mtr77np because the recoil on mine broke this sight.
Things I liked: Rugged, well built. Amazing value for the money.
Things I would have changed: Nothing. Well, it would be cool to have a version with a quick-detach lever, instead of the thumb screw.
Things I liked: Detent mechanism to adjust elevation is nice.
Things I would have changed: The elevation platform fits pretty sloppy with the mounting platform. This is a manufacturing issue, not a design issue. The sloppy fit results in the rear peep site aperature shifting side-to-side.
What others should know: It's cheap price-wise, it's made in China. If you want a military style ornament to mount on your rifle, this fits the bill. If you want a serviceable, accurate peep sight, then don't buy this one.
