The 760 Pumpmaster is what all the other multi-pump pneumatics want to be! In production for decades, over 10 million have been sold. It shoots BBs or .177 pellets and does so with power and accuracy.

At less than 3 lbs., it's a great starter air rifle. The stock and forearm are made of a durable synthetic that takes lots of use and still looks good. An economical rifle, the Pumpmaster takes 3 to 10 pumps to send BBs up to 625 fps and pellets up to 600 fps. The checkering on the grip and the indentations on the pump handle make it that much easier to get a grip and stay on target.

Ideal for plinking and target shooting. (Never shoot BBs at metal objects!) It's so light that you can shoot all day! Suitable for younger shooters (with adult supervision) and smaller adults.

Pellets are loaded into a 5-shot clip, while BBs have an 18-shot magazine, which is fed from the 200-shot reservoir. It comes with a fixed front sight, but you can get even more accuracy by mounting a scope or red dot on the 11mm dovetail.

Things I liked: This is well worth what i paid, accurate, and powerful enough with pellets for small game, birds or squirrels.

Things I would have changed: Should have bought the scope, too. my eyesight isn't as good as it used to be.

Things I liked: Very light, easy to use quickly, stores many bb rounds, accurate for a bb air rifle.

Things I would have changed: Space cocking lever stop 1/8" away from barrel so it doesn't pinch your fingers between barrel and lever when cocking.

What others should know: Cock once before storage. My 40 year old 760 would still work today if I had followed this advise. Still got 30 years out of it.

Things I liked: Small, lightweight, and versatile with the ability to fire bbs or pellets. The 5 shot pellet clip sets this gun ahead of the pack in its price range when it comes to leading pellets, but the smoothbore barrel is not as accurate as say the 880 or the 2100. The 760 is easy to pump, and still reasonably accurate out to 30 feet or so and would be a great gun for a younger shooter moving up from a red ryder or model 25 type of airgun. The 760 is a target/plinker- not a pest shooter. This gun is for fun and backyard enjoyment, I do not believe it is powerful enough to humanely kill even little pests.

Things I would have changed: I cant find a thing I would change about this gun, especially for the price. The 5 shot pellet clip is an awesome addition that I wish was incorporated in other similar type airguns. As always, more metal and less plastic is a thing, but the construction of this gun is solid and I would believe with proper care this gun will last a lifetime.

What others should know: I made this gun my dedicated bb shooter because of the smoothbore barrel, although it does function well as a pellet gun. The 880 or 2100 would be better pellet guns for the price because of the accuracy of the rifled barrels and their power, but the 760 really is the best little plinker in the pack because of its lightweight and ease of use. Search the Pyramyd air site for kit deals that include ammo or scopes before buying just the gun- you wont be disappointed. Have fun and be SAFE!!

  • peter from Canada asked:

can i get 760 pump cup,, and cloth washer that absorbs oil behind the cup ,,, how much cost to send to nova scotia canada, difficult to find parts for 760 pump pellet ,bb, rifle,, thanks

    • Scott from USA asked:

Crosman states this is a 760 B , and is more powerful then the previous 760 . Is this true and what are the fps differences?

      • Larry from USA asked:

According to the FSP/FPE calculator my brand new 760 should be quite capable of killing a squirrel at 25 ft. with lead pellets. Why then, after two vital hits this morning, did the squirrels merely jump as if stung and run away?

        • jon from USA:

I don't see the number of pumps the person used in that video. He did the Daisy 880, and the Crosman 760. His velocities both look way slow.

        • Adrian from USA:

I did a quick search on youtube to look for a Crosman 760 chronograph video and of course it depends on the weight of your ammo, the results averaged in the 200-300 fps range. Here is the link to the video I am referencing. https://youtu.be/Rp3YPX5duHE

        • Ashley from USA:

This gun would never be recommended for hunting.
