Wow this thing packs a punch! I had to stop shooting it at my Gamo rocker trap because it was going to put a hole through the back of it. once I got the fiber optic sights adjusted I can pretty much hit a dime sized target from about 30 feet away every time with this thing. I love the sound and the recoil of the .22 caliber. It might be a little loud for backyard use it so far my neighbors haven't complained thankfully! This would be an excellent gun for pest control although I just use it for target practice.
Things I would have changed:nothing best bang for the buck in a nitro piston rifle.
What others should know:this rifle is extremely inexpensive to shoot because you don't have to buy co2 and you can get a 500 count 10 of Crosman domed pellets on Amazon for about $7.

POWER AND PRICE AND LOOKS LIKE GOOD QUALITY. LET SEE HOW LONG IT WILL LAST. I BEEN HAD PUT 5 STARS IF THE PICTURE MATCHES THE REAL THING
Things I would have changed:THE PICTURE OF THE PRODUCT, IT SHOWS COMPLEATY DIFFERENT REAL THING. BECAUSE,I BUGHT THIS RIFLE FOR THE PICTURE AND PRICE. BUT WHEN I GET THE ITEM IT DOESN'T MUTCH THE PICTURE. THIS THE ONLY THING THAT I DON'T LIKE. I CALL PYRAMYAIR AND THEY SEND ME A CODE TO RETURN IT OR GET ANOTHER RIFLE.WICH IS GOOD.
What others should know:WHEN YOU BUY,PLEASE COLL TO MAKE SURE THAT THE PICTURE MUTCH THE ONE THAT YOU ARE BUYING. I BOUGHT IT BECAUSE I LIKE THE LOOK IN THE PICTURE, I DON'T LIKE THE LOOK OF THE REAL RIFLE. AND PLEASE PYRAMYDAIR MORE CONTROL OF THE PICTURES OF THE THINGS IN YOUR CATALOG. I DIDN'T TRY IT YET; SO, I MAY LATER I'LL TELL ABOUT ACCURACY. STILL THINKING TO RETURNE IT OR GET ANOTHER KIND. BUT THE GOOD PRICE ITS HOLDING ME.

I have an older spring piston Fury, and my stock is different. It has bumps on the pistol grip, and fore arm. The forearm of the stock has a curve after the trigger guard. I want to order the Fury in NP, but want the stock design I have on my old one. Another Fury is shown just below this one with the stock I have, and it is also an NP. What Is the difference between the two Fury's, or is this a typo in the ad?
can you put a scope in it
Read under specifications, 11MM dove tail, so yes it can.
How long could you live this nitro piston charge, without a damage to the piston or to lose pressure? I think with the spring pistón it is posible to damage it ,if you left the spring on for some time. Thank You for your answer!
I agree with Val, mostly. The one part that would see more stress is the seal. An estimate would be pressure increases by 40% but I think the seal can take it. Plus whatever amt the spring leaks normally would likely increase with that pressure. It would also depend on the shaft surface where the seal is sitting, which I can attest to bad spots leaking much faster. So really I think it's a coin toss and I wouldn't worry about it, but regardless I would test it now and then, especially before the warranty expires. Btw; coil springs generally hold up just fine. Imo this issue is propaganda to sell gas springs. Look at the springs in your car, like the suspension, or the valve springs which cycle well over 100 million times and how often do they fail? They easily outlast the gas spring struts used on rear hatches and hoods which are very much the same as these nitro springs, maybe even the same mfg. I've never had a coil spring in a gun fail but I've many gas springs fail, specifically the one used in this model; BT9M22-00-5 and BT9M22-00-5A. So I'd be far more worried about failure period than being cocked. And they do sell the spring if it fails after warranty. Hard to beat the price on this model so if you want gas and open sights I'd say get it.
Theoretically indefinitely. There is nothing that can weaken in the piston from the fact that it's compressed, it's just compressed gas (air or nitrogen). In case of coiled spring - yes, metal can develop fatigue with time.
Leaving the nitro piston cocked for a long time might weaken it (might have less power)? Same with a spring piston it probably would damage it?

Good quality control. Nice synthetic stock. The hinge joint uses a screw not pins. The stock screws, on my rifle, came with Loc tite applied.
Things I would have changed:TOO MUCH POWER. This race between manufacturers - cheap as possible and powerful as possible - is a bad combo. I dread the day Crosman comes out with a $50 gun that shoots 2000 feet per second. If Crosman wanted this much air flow, they should have introduced the NP in .25 only! They could have started a whole new pellet line, and this gun would likely be more accurate right out of the box. (1)The NP is hard to cock, watch out for elbow strain. As hard as my R-1 without the accuracy. I aim it away from my hip to do more of a row move. (2)Cheap plastic sights, bulky up front, and like so many econo springers, bad plastic rear sights that have to go. They are crooked, adjusting up makes it worse. (3)Loud on the pellet trap, as loud as the R-1. Not quiet that way. (4)Hard jolt. They say no vibration, but the kick is not great to deal with at all.
What others should know:The reader may ask what the heck would I buy the Fury for if if I have an HW R-1. Well I got the R-1 and R-9 in the 1990s. I see they are much more money now. But I did not have a .22 in my line up. So when I got back into air gunning seriously in 2013, I wanted to explore more. PA is great for that. I wanted to try .22 in econo models. The Beeman made in China was a disaster, looking to give it away. The second try, a BSA Comet turned out great! After changing out the plastic rear sights for a peep sight, and finding the right ammo, JSB Jumbos, I'm having a blast with the Comet. It was $135 well spent. The velocity in the Comet is toned down because of British laws for power. But it is perfect for the suburbs - good power and easy handling. Crosman says after 200 shots the NP will settle down (Uh, maybe some accuracy?). But I'm in no hurry to break in this gun. Between the R series rifles and the Comet, I'm happy. The Meteor is similar to the Comet, and I would recommend them.
