How does the shot count increase if the only power adjustment is in the transfer port? Did air arms change their way of power adjustment for the XS models?
Max shots per fill on the lowest setting?
At least, 50-60 probably more.
Can this or any of the s500 series be converted to a 10 shot down the road?

Wow where do I start? First the rifle per price is light years ahead of the competition in terms of fit and finish, accuracy, barrels and triggers. The fit an finish of the rifle is bar none top of the line. Very smooth lines no Sharpe edges. Side lever action is so smooth and airarms being one of the first to offer it has it perfected. Trigger out of the box amazingly predictable and crisp breaking like glass and fully adjustable for the end-user. Power adjuster now having set increments is a good thing and shows that air arms is listening to their customers. The barrels "lother walther" and mine shot everything from gamo to jsb well. Stocks are italian-made Minnelli and they look like pieces of artwork. Mine would drop half inch groups at 50 yards with a child behind the trigger "22 caliber" Barrels are just not pellet fussy. Last but not least the rifles mirror like bluing wow just amazing.
Things I would have changed:The fill port. Come on Airarms put a quick fill foster on them! Also offer a male 1/2 unf thread for a LDC "Just my gripe lol" it's time to offer a bottle version of the s5 series. Follow suit with other makers making the rifles regulator, hammer spring and other adjustments externally adjustable for the end user. Make the barrels bluing and the air tubes match better. In the 25 caliber add a bit more power? Offer one that can shoot the jsb heavys 34 grains at a respectable 850 to 900fps. And or the 25 kings at same speeds.
What others should know:Airarms have been in the game along time and have dominated a many competitions for years and years. These rifles are family heirloom type guns and you will pass it down to Generations to come. Do your homework like with all expensive air rifles and make sure you know what you're getting into if you do not know how to work on the rifle make sure you have someone that can because like all air rifles it will need maintenance.
