Beautiful walnut stock. Built much like my RAW. Not complex, but sturdy and reliable. Very accurate. Shoots right with and often better than my FX Crown. JSB 33.93 MKII pellets are spot on. Groups are .350 to . 425 so far at 50 yards. A few drop lower. Fit and finish are superb. This is an elite level air gun. Gets about 25 good shots on a fill. Runs 300 bar. I fill it a bit less. Magazine does not have to be removed to reload. This guns compares to any elite European air gun. It is built in a modern factory using state of the art equipment. I would buy it again, something I cannot about some of my guns. Trigger from factory is 10 ounces. Single stage. Clean break. Not one problem so far. ck.
Things I would have changed:Heavy. This is no plastic toy. Russian tank durable.
What others should know:Stunning wood stock. Beautiful machine work and fit. Have not found a slug that shoots as well as the MKIIs yet.

which silencer model do you recommend for this?
Why are the .177 so much cheaper? Are they not as good?
The .177 and 22 cal are the same price. 25 cal and up are more because they cost more to build.
is the 30 cal accurate in this model? all I've been reading on the ataman 30cal is that it is not accurate because of what's going on with the barrel...
Yeah that's why someone just bought a 30 and it was junk and he opened It up and the reservoir was corroded Inside. Great guns yeeaaah
I'd stay away from Ataman. So many people have had Issues with Ataman. There Ridiculously expensive and the quality Isn't there. My buddy had 3 of them, a ap16 pistol, m2r compact and a bp17. They all had Issues. Careless or lazy assembly, and/or machining that was way off, like the probe Inlet being against the barrel so you can't even fill It, not chamfering or bevelling the edges of the probe Inlet so It shreds O' rings Everytime you insert probe. Then the biggys like the scope base being off, and taking the gun apart to find metal shavings and burrs Inside, and lastly, leaking air after 2-3 months. That shouldn't be happening on a $300 gun or Even a $500 gun. Let alone $1200, or the $1500-$1800 That Atamans asking for there full-size big bore rifles. For $1200 You could buy a beautiful and phenomenal Daystate Huntsman that's regulated with a huma regulator, that would decimate any Ataman. Take a look at the Daystate Wolverine, and Wolverine Hi-power, which Is available In .25 and .30. light-years ahead of Ataman!
There was a bad gun . The article has spread across the internet. Atamans are very good airguns. The 30 cal is no worse than any other caliber. They shoot very well.

My second post on this gun. After 500 rounds some things are quiet apparent. It is very accurate. .250 to.350 at 50 yards and .400 to .500 at 100 yards. This is with the .25 cal JSB 33gr MKII pellets. The Ataman is built much like the RAW. Heavy and tough. Very well designed and executed with best practices in terms of quality control in place. It shoots as well or better than my RAW. My FX Crown shoots no better. But of course is a much lighter gun, so it is the field gun. The wood stock is to my taste and very nice. Very ergonomic. The Ataman website explains the company quality ISO process.
Things I would have changed:Above 250 bar very slow to fill to 300bar. Be patient. Best designed magazine in the air gun world in my opinion. Gun can loaded without removal of the magazine. Trigger is 10.4 oz. Nice right out of the box. Shot count is about 30. 100 yards is so easy. I mounted an Arken 6x24x50 34mm Gen II scope. Excellent combination.
What others should know:Buy it. The quality exceeds most everything but a very few top end guns. And only equal it. I buying my second gun in .30 cal. I have not found a slug I can recommend.
