Since first rolling off the line, the 1911 pistol has been one of the most highly prized shooting platforms. This granddaddy of modern pistols as it continues to be an inspiration for Crosman in giving customers a backyard 1911 shooting experience for pennies on the dollar.
No stranger to the 1911, Crosman crafted its newest 1911 as a rapid-fire pellet plinker--the 1911 CO2 Pellet Pistol in classic silver. With a single 12-gram CO2 and its dual head rotating loader, shooters can fire off two 6 shot rotary clips that can fire not only pellets but BBs at speeds up to 350 fps through its rifled barrel. To use the mag, remove the dual rotary clip, load up your pellets, load your CO2, and reinsert the clip back into the magazine. Shoot your 6rd mag, eject the cartridge, turn the clip holder 180 degrees, and shoot the last 6 rounds.
Each Crosman 1911 pistol’s body comes loaded with features that 1911 plinkers love, like a full-metal body, and finely checkered faux wood grips. Although the slide does not include a blowback feature, this only means that you can expect much longer shot strings and find yourself reaching for a new CO2 cartridge much less often. If you own a laser or flashlight, you can attach it to the Weaver accessory rail to add a new dimension to your shooting sessions or shoot with the fixed sights right out of the box.

The weight and repeating capability is a plus. It feel like the real pistol.
Things I would have changed:I do not like having to look for a hex wrench to install the co2 cartridge. Since the pellet holder is removable, Crosman should sell them, alleviating the need to buying the whole clip.
What others should know:Having more pellet holders would make shooting the pistol much more fun. I seem to go through 12 shots quickly and spend more time loading pellets.

What others should know:This gun does not have blowback it shoots pellets only do not use bbs, you should also know that this is a good gun it feels like a real colt 1911 45. It does have some weight, um it is very accurate I love the co2 mag.

Will this use pointed and domed pellets or must you use wad cutters?
CO2 pistols are low powered. You want a light pellet ,right around 7 gr or less. The magazines have restricted space to hold pellets. Waddcutters will always fit. Most light domed pellets will fit. Pointed pellets may not.

Very much like the acp 45 I carried it the service. Easy to get a good grouping with open sights.
Things I would have changed:Make it a little easier to load mag. for thous of us with arthritis in our hands. But I like it just the same.
What others should know:You need to make sure the co2 cylinder is tight or you will lose air very fast.
