Everything

Things I would have changed:

Nothing

What others should know:

Get one ASAP. They will be gone and you will have to wait 3 or 4 months to get one. It's the most accurate PCP rifle I have ever owned.

Things I liked:

Only thing I like about this gun is the looks

What others should know:

This is a very low end air rifle Will not shot what they spec. I shot mid 700's ft per sec. No where near 50 ft lbs, and the only pellet it will shot accurate is a 34 grain FX pellet.

    Things I liked:

    Look cool

    Things I would have changed:

The accessory rail is flimsy so bipod flexes up and down. The trigger sucks. It has a lot of creep and does not have a crisp break. Huge disappointment. The stock has some wiggle in it due to the sliding length adjustment. I’d rather have a fixed stock. Also, the gun is hard to shoot with a squeeze bag because there is nothing to put the bag under. This could be fixed with a traditional fixed stock.

    What others should know:

Overall the gun is just ok. Accuracy seems to be pretty good if you find a pellet it likes. And unfortunately there is no tuning information, that I can find, anywhere on the net. I would love to read some articles on what people have found works the best, but there is almost nothing. Maybe after a couple years there will be more info. I have a Marauder that I absolutely love. With the price, I guess I was expecting something even better than than the marauder, but honestly I think the marauder is a way better buy. Maybe I’ll change my mind after shooting this gun a little more.

    Things I liked:

I have another review here. I grew in four weeks to like the .25 rifle. It did have a defect though and went back to the factory who found and fixed it and it is headed back to me. The degas screw did not work for them or me. The product manager took it apart and found the factory in Turkey did not install the degas port receiver correctly and it was jammed in such a way it did not work. They replaced it and now it works fine and is headed to me. All warranty work. I like the gun. The .25 I have with a 25-28 grain pellet actually packs a pretty good wallop pretty accurately at what I would guess is fifty yards. Could it use a little more power? Perhaps, but mine seems fine for my needs at the price I paid new for it.

    What others should know:

the real price point for this gun is not the manufacturers suggest list of around $1000 but at just over $700 it is about right for what you get.

    Things I liked:

For an AR .25 it shot well enough...

    Things I would have changed:

The stock is flimsy, wobbles, the Gass bleed screw did not bleed air. I just don't like the a.r style. I like the Benjamin marauder .22 I have with traditional wood stock and am mothballing the Gunnar in favor of a jst Airacuda Max wood stock..better build all over for less money and equally or more accurate

    What others should know:

Gun is over priced even on sale

    Things I liked:

Alot to like for the money. Well made and easy to tune without disassembly. Replace the barrel with a Karal barrel... for more efficient use of air and increased velocity... a direct fit, regulator delivered ES of 9 & SD of 2 in my sample.

    Things I would have changed:

Bottom Picatinny rail is attached with 1 screw, potential weak point.

    What others should know:

Fun to shoot and AR platform compatibility allows for unlimited customization.

    Things I liked:

I find the trigger guard roomy ,the stock adjustments good, Pic rail solid & quiet shooting . I doubt I'll add a LDC. Not pellet picky & pretty accurate (@ 40yrds ). Very smooth side lever action. Foster fitting for filling & regulated w/ adjustable power. Nice case.

    Things I would have changed:

Now ,,, I believe a fully adjustable trigger is appropriate. It's just ok for me . The case is nice but ,,, I received it w/ a tear on both sides, one from the fill nozzle clear through to the plastic. The fill port is extremely vulnerable & NO cover or screen in it !! Come on, we're told "clean dry air, filter ,filter, filter ! Heck foam from the case could make it's way into the gun ! I ordered a fill nipple ahead based on some pro reviews I read. The fill nipple should be screened & could be angled like some grease zerks are to protect it and the case. The stock is a bit of a rattler but it's what it is. The under rail is "springy" unless you stay close to the trigger, I saw half the clearance to air tank gone upon mounting scope w/ my Caldwell bipod on setting on the bench and it's a medium weight scope. Give me a carbon fiber tank, external hammer spring & regulator adjustments ,please !!

    What others should know:

I had another brand gun that cost the same . It had issues that caused me to contact PA customer service about .I returned it. ( Read my Factor CF review) We discussed the issues , fixes & compared guns. I settled begrudgingly on the Gunnar. Several others have some of the issues w/ both guns . Dollar for dollar I believe the Hatsan is a better unit as for as adjusting things IF they can tweak the issues. At the asking $$$ of the Gunnar , to add the same stuff , you are in the FX, AA 's playing field . I will get by w/ the Benjamin for now. If this were a machine, an automobile or firearm , there would probably be recalls for updates & retro-fitting :) Rant over , thanks for listening !

    Things I liked:

Great rifle. The accuracy is amazing with the right pellet, a 1 1/8 group of 10 shots at 50 yards. The shot count per fill is right at 100 using jsb 18.13 grain pellets. Also like the quick connect male fill connector. No fill probe to loose.

    Things I would have changed:

Didn't come with a single shot loading tray. Would of liked to have one.

    What others should know:

Benjamin quality control is a little lacking. When I received my Benjamin, I had to repair the sliding stock. It was not assembled properly and would not extend or collapse like it was designed to do. That's the reason for the 4 star rating instead of 5.

    Things I liked:

It didn't quite meet the power expectation of 50ft lbs in .25, but it got close at 48. It's accurate enough after you test different ammo options. Overall it does what is advertised granting a little room for unideal circumstances.

    Things I would have changed:

Just doesn't feel good to shoulder. It's not a balanced gun. Fine off the bench, but not shouldering. The stock components aren't quite what I expected at the price point. One nut connecting the buttstock to the main body came a little loose every once in a while.

    What others should know:

It's a fine gun, but don't expect it to blow other similarly priced guns out of the water. It does have great features like the adjustable regulator and large air air capacity, but it doesn't quite feel like a $1k gun IMHO. It doesn't quite feel as premium as you might expect at the price point.

    Things I liked:

The power and consistency for this PCP is amazing. On the highest setting it was slinging .22 caliber 14.3 grain Crosman Premier domed pellets at an average of 1,075 FPS with an extreme spread of only 7. So far I have only shot the Gunnar on a 25 yard range, and was easily able to keep all 12 rounds from the magazine into a .25 inch jagged hole, and this was at the highest and lowest power settings. I shot a bug off of my pellet trap at 25 yards with ONE shot. On full power (external power adjustment) I got seven to eight magazines with the same point of aim. There was negligible different at the middle power setting. One the lowest power setting I was able to get nine, almost ten magazines without the point of aim shifting. Magazines eleven and twelve shot .5 inch lower (still at 25 yards), Magazines thirteen and fourteen shot .75 inch lower, but were still in a respectable.25 inch group. H&N HP slugs (.218 dia/23 grains) shot with the same accuracy results as the Crosman Pellets.

    Things I would have changed:

The first Gunnar I received had to sent back to Pyramid Air because it leaked air the very first time I hooked it up to my Nomad 2 compressor. Turnaround time was pretty good, and the new Gunnar performed great so far. Accuracy at ranges beyond 25 yards still need to be done. A minor issue is the buttstock was a little lose, but that was easily tightened by hand. Another issue I experienced was about one pellet in almost every magazine does not index smoothly. The action does run smoothly with the exception of that one sticky pellet every now and then.

    What others should know:

This PCP is a beast! I added a Donny FL Sumo for added noise suppression, which added additional length, but even without it, this thing is huge. It is already quiet and backyard friendly without the Donny FL, but it is even better with it added, plus it makes it look even more awesome. The seven internal baffles definitely do what they are supposed to do. Why Crosman did not list the barrel length in the specs is beyond me. I cannot wait to test more pellets and slugs in this thing. I am very happy that the very affordable Crosman Premier pellets shot so well out of it. In fact I just ordered 5K more rounds of the Crosman pellets for less than 10 bucks per 500 online. The case that the Gunnar came in is pretty darn nice. It is not as good as a Pelican or similarly priced case but it is better than most cases you get when they are included with the gun. The case even has wheels. I really have high hopes for this Benjamin Gunnar.
