The Seneca Dragonfly Mk2 Multi-Pump Air Rifle by Air Venturi is an accurate and versatile multi-pump pneumatic air rifle that features improvements compared to the prior model. Capable of full-power velocities (with alloy pellets) up to 950 FPS in .177 and 800 FPS in .22, it provides the necessary power for small-game hunting, pest control, and plinking.
At first glance, this version of the air rifle is similar to the older model. However, the longer wooden portion on the forearm conceals the secret of the upgraded technology: a patented butterfly high efficiency pump system. This improved system lowers the pumping effort by 50% compared to the original while also keeping the effort consistent across each pump stroke, instead of constantly increasing like the older version and many competing air rifles.
The Seneca Dragonfly Mk2 is a multi-pump, so it allows shooters to vary the power level based on the situation and the type of shooting desired. With a range of 3-15 pumps, shooters can go from quiet backyard plinking that won't disturb the neighbors to powerful small-game hunting, simply by using the easy and consistent pump technology to add more air to the reservoir.
In order to provide accurate shots immediately, the air gun utilizes a fixed fiber optic front sight and a rear sight that adjusts for windage and elevation. For additional options for adding a scope, this air rifle also has an 11mm dovetail optics rail. The 1/2"x20 threaded muzzle cap allows for further customization, allowing a moderator or air stripper to be added easily.

Very easy to pump from 3 to 15 pumps. The amount of pressure to pump up is consistant for every pump. Very accurate with open sights. I did not need a scope. I am 80 years old and have had many airguns over my lifetime. To me, this has been the best.

easy pumping all the way through the pumping cycle & the end of the barrel isn't wiggling around by the muzzle threaded barrel for a silencer WAYYYYY COOOOOLLLL.
Things I would have changed:beef up the pump linkage seems a little flimsy works great just a little wobbly
What others should know:once broken in & you find that one pellet it REALY likes. invest in a good scope 3x9x40 you'll soon realize you'll need it. I'm hitting nickel size groups at 80 yards on 9 power from a rest pigeons don't stand a chance .

Regarding converting .177 Dragonfly Mk2 to .22 gauge: Can you give me a list of required parts (and cost)?
You will need need the barrel and a 22 bolt. The probe on the 22 bolt will be bigger in diameter. Parts are hard to find for these. You might contact PA customer service and inquire if they have new or maybe a damaged return that they could salvage the parts from.
Can a Dragonfly .177 barrel be swapped out with .22 barrel?
Yes but the bolt probe is going to be bigger on the 22 so you will have to find one to do the swap.
What is the best moderator for the dragon fly mk2?
I use a Buck-Rail Airguns one on mine. Works great!

This is a great gun. Good finishing looks-wise, feels premium. BUT, the moving parts are TERRIBLE.
Things I would have changed:Not much to change in terms of what the gun has to offer. HOWEVER, BEWARE! I bought a brand new gun but right out of the box the bolt handle had a lot of friction. It requires a tremendous amount of force to pull back. The pump mechanism is also very jittery, with a lot of friction. It not smooth at all and it get stuck midway due to the high level of friction.
What others should know:Wanted to have a good time with it but these two issues gave a terrible experience. Very unfortunate.
