It's a wind-up magazine that holds 800 rounds of 6mm BBs and shoots 300 rpm with a maximum velocity of 320 fps, which will make sure you dominate the action as long as you want. You can go from semi-auto to full-auto with the flip of a switch, for those moments when raw firepower is all you need.
Of course, with an 800 round magazine, you will have to wind it up several times to fire the entire drum.
As an "AEG" airsoft gun, it is battery operated like most airsoft guns. The batteries operate a piston assembly that shoots BBs. AEG's are usually available in both full and semi-auto and do well for all levels of experience, from beginning airsoft shooters to advanced competitors.
