Multi-pump pneumatic with all the bells and whistles! Kit includes 880 rifle, BBs, pellets, paper targets, 4x15 scope and safety glasses. In Stock
This kit includes the powerful 880 air rifle with a black stock, paper targets, safety glasses, 4x15mm scope with rings (unmounted), 500 Daisy pellets and 1,050 BBs (3 loaders with 350 BBs each). Everything you need to start shooting the minute it arrives!
Daisy's most popular air rifle! The 880 shoots both BBs and pellets, and it does so with amazing power. This multi-pump pneumatic sends ammo roaring downrange! BBs go 750 fps (Never shoot BBs at hard objects!), and pellets go 715 fps. You can adjust power and velocity by the number of pumps you put into the rifle (up to 10 pumps). The synthetic molded woodgrain Monte Carlo stock has a raised cheekpiece and deep checkering on the grip and forearm. The 11mm dovetails on the receiver (made of engineering resin) make it easy to add the included scope. You can also use the open sights: fiber optic front and fully adjustable rear.
It's a BB repeater (holds 50 BBs) and a single-shot pellet shooter. Take this rifle plinking or if you just want to have fun! It's lightweight, so you can shoot for hours.
This rifle is so much fun to shoot, you'll run through the pellets and BBs pretty quick. Click the AMMO link to stock up on more ammo. Click the ACCESSORIES link to find fun targets and other shooting gear.

NOT TRUE you can unstuck a pellet with two tools.
All you need is a Phillips to take the screws out. Pull the receiver off each side. Stick a tiny drill bit into the pellet using a drill or bit holder and slower drill into the pellet, then pull it out. It's easy.
Then re-assemble the gun. Takes about 10 minutes total.

The kit comes packaged in hard plastic. Before wrapping, I removed everything and decided I'd sight the rifle with the open sights before giving it away. I didn't bother with the scope - too much for an 8 year-old to deal with and besides, they need to learn to shoot with open sights before moving up the skill ladder.
Feel of the rifle reminds me of a lighter version of a little .22 rimfire semi-auto I have, an old Remington Nylon 66. The Remington is heavier, of course, but the synthetic stock and foregrip is similar in feel. If all you've ever been accustomed to before is wood, it may seem a little odd at first. Give yourself time to adjust - It works just fine. When I had to transition from a Garand to an M-16 in the Army, I had to go thru that same transition of feel and attitude.
After the 75 or so shots to zero the sights, I had a hard time giving this thing up! Easy to pump, I use 5 strokes to keep consistent power, and power it has aplenty! I was able to hit anything I chose at 75' as long as the thing in question was at least 2" square. All in all, for $60 bucks, I can't imagine having a better time. Sure, you can nit pick about plastic this or that, somewhat less that perfect tolerances, but com'on here ... it $60 bucks for goodness sake. Daisy give you a lot for that little money.
As a training rifle to introduce a youngster to the sport of shooting, I'd be hard pressed to find a better gun. Don't have to worry about Co2, can shoot BB's or pellets (I didn't try the BB's, but will). and seems to me to be quite accurate for the money. Things I would have changed:The scope they provide in the kit is, of course, a toy. Again, don't ask for more than the cost of this kit can bear - be reasonable in expectations. If I were the designer, I'd rather sell the rifle for the same price as a stand-alone, using the money saved from the accessories to provide a better sight. Sights and barrels are, after all, what it's all about. maybe triggers too, but not as much so. Give all these little better quality and let the buyer get their own targets, ammo, and scope if desired. What others should know:Must be very, very careful loading the pellets. The feed hole for BB's is right there in the reciever when the bolt is open, and if you get a pellet cross-jammed in that hole by careless loading, you've got a problem that only the factory will be able to fix. So, if shooting pellets, load with caution.
Just go ahead and buy this thing. You're gonna have a lot of fun with it, even if you won't get to an Olympic level of accuracy!

Things I liked:The look, the awesome power, the cheap price, and the over all experience. The pumping is VERY easy. VERY accurate (from 16yds\48ft with bare sights, I can put a hole in a bullseye no bigger than a dot from a sharpy.) Things I would have changed:Unfortunately, this gun has a lot of plastic. But don't let that scare you away from it, it is a truly amazing gun. It has many screws to make up for the non-metal parts. One strange thing I noticed when I pulled the bolt back, is that behind the plastic receiver, there is a metal lining. Why not put this on the outside? The stock is hollow, and my gun DIDN't come along with the advertised fiber optic sight. But the front sight did have a white dot on it. The dovetails are VERY delicate. Tightening the included scope to tight dented my dovetails. What others should know:This is the fastest model gun for the money on this entire website. And its defiantly worth the money. I was extremely pleased with this gun.
