Do not buy this tank unless you are buying a gun that's 2,000 PSI or less, will not fill your 3000 psi gun more then a few times,

It's an aluminum scuba tank with a sherwood-type K valve, pretty standard for the most part.

Change the name of the manufacturer of the tank on the website description. It's not Air Venturi, it's Sea Pearls which is a pretty common name in scuba tanks. I really wanted to keep with the Air Venturi gear I already have, but this will work.

Check dive shops, you may find the tanks cheaper. I found 80cf Catalina tanks at my local dive shop $40 cheaper than anywhere else when I went to get this tank filled.

Easy turning valve, nice finish on tank and valve, new tank (Aug 2017 mfr stamp, review Jan 2018). No issue getting valve installed and tank filled.

Option of a DIN valve

Nice tank, worth the money and piece of mind for a new tank vs used, looks and functions well tank is black with chrome mirror finish, just over 29" high from base to tip of valve. Weighty, But not so heavy that it's not "portable", very pleased with the product and the inventory of air available. Shipping was quick, shipped with valve uninstalled but no big deal the scuba shop installed, inspected, and filled for $16. Don't know how many fills I'll get out of it, if I remember I'll update review later, as it depends on partial / full fills (2000 psi discovery). Accessorized it with "zombie green" netting, base, and valve cover so its highly visible so as not to knock over accidentally. Also put on a carrying handle (nylon hand and shoulder strap) for easier portability. I'm glad I got it vs the smaller tanks, possibly getting one of those in the future, however this tank fits the bill for extended range sessions.

It should have at least an option to come with a gauge to allow pressure monitoring.

What they don't tell you is your dive shop has to visually inspect the tank before they will fill it at a cost of $30 or more per inspection.

Excellent quality. After seeing what can happen with a used tank I decided new was the best way to go. To much pressure to cut corners.

Plan on securing this tank well. Don't play around safety wise. Don't want it falling around. It can become a missle if the filler neck breaks. And even worse if it the tank ruptures.

If you have a pcp rifle dont get this product, It sucks. If you have an air rifle that has a 3,000 psi fill than you cannot fill this gun even one time. You need a 4500 psi. tank to fill a 3,000 psi rifle. I suggest a carbon fiber small tank so that you can take it out in the field.

The fact that quality control didn't do their job, the k-valve that came with the tank didn't work at all. The valve let the air out. I took the tank to be filled to a dive expert, when he tried to fill it, the valve ,with the knob completely tightened as far as you can the air rushed out. Luckily the gentleman had another one and I had to buy it plus the cost of 2 fillings and the inspection,I traded th bad k-valve on the other one, so that cut the 75 dollar cost down. I did this instead of sending it back because I wanted to shoot my Marauder and my Dragon Claw and the guy is the only one in the area to fill scuba tanks and was gonna be outta town for awhile. So I think that I think the quality control needs to be quality controled.

My Shoebox just arrived so I will be filling here up soon. The tank arrived quickly and in good condition. Tank and valve are clean no ding or dents etc.

I would add a gauge on the valve so you know how much pressure is in the tank.

For the money i like this product a lot. It has what you need and will load your pcp with all the presure you could want many times over. It is a quality product and will last forever. Well worth the money.

You need to know that this is heavy and carrying it at a distance is not recomended.(LOL) You will need a kind of dolly ,cart etc. I found a perfect one at my local Home Depot. It is a "Milwaukee Hand Truck". 150 lb capacity,Model # 33884 $25.96. It is a folding hand truck that will easily fit into your truck, car etc. Now you can simply roll it to your distination and leave the tank on your hand truck and simply "fill your gun". Pretty cool right? Ofcourse you have to put the tank on and then take it off the hand truck getting to and from your location but your particular circumstances may differ from mine. Ronnie

It will need assembled and inspected by the shop that does the first fill. Not a big deal, they assembled and filled it for $7.00. Took about 20 minutes I guess. Much better than $4.00 fills for the small tanks at the paint ball fields. Definitely a nicer way to roll.
