I would snug up the cap over the hammer spring a bit.

I paid the $25 to have mine installed and it came loose. On 10 pumps out of the box, it shot 135fps. After being properly installed, she shot 13.43gr jsb diablos @460fps

Love the steel breech. Want more parts to check out. Gonna start a video blog about 1322 and 2240 which is my next purchase to up grade. Can't wait to start a new rebuild.

Improvement to the original 2240, Solid and rail top to mount new rear sight ect...

Mine did not come with Allen/hex tools and with the many sets and throw aways I have not a single .050. have to buy a set with an .050, $11 no big deal but had everything ready to upgrade. I will update after the tools arrive.

Instructions could be a bit more geared for a newbie without a lot of prior knowledge of "how to". That said there are many instructional videos out there and be sure to use good lighting before you start.

That little breach screw and the air valve are real punks. Used a piece of plastic bag to seal between the barrel and the ledge on the valve. Dont know if it was really needed, but...

I ordered two of these, one for model 1377, and one for model 1322, nether has been delivered, much longer than the two weeks. This and having to pay shipping might cause me to reconsider ordering from Pyramid in future. If they don't come soon, I may have to ask for a refund?

The steel breech secures tightly to the pump pistol and provides a solid base to mount a scope.

If the breech screw is in too deep, it will create a small well which can cause the pellets to get caught while loading. It's a common problem with easy solutions and work around which can be found online. I thought people should be aware of this potential problem when installing the steel breech yourself. I am deducting 2 star for this issue as it's a very common complaint and crosman have yet to address this issue. The steel breech should come stock with the pistol.

Be extra careful when screwing the small breech screw, it gets stripped rather easily.

Everything!!! This is my second one within a year. First one went on a 2240 with a longer barrel and now I just put one on a 2289G. They are easy to install and work so good with your favorite scope. Im 66 years old. You can go on line and see how to do almost anything. Good luck be safe and have fun.

Very easy installation. With the addition of a scope I shoot 1 inch groups at 20 yards.

The counter bore where the breech screw goes, is bored too deep. This allows the pellet to drop down just enough to catch the sharp edge and prevent further advance. You can push down on the back of the pellet and then go forward again. So it works, just not nearly as smooth as the plastic one I removed. I got tired of this so I enacted a permanent fix by making a shim to go underneath the head of the screw. When the breech screw is torqued back into place, it raised the head of the screw enough so it works properly. Making the shim is not easy. I used thick fiber gasket material. I made my own hollow punch to get the correct diameter. I have a mini lathe so it was easy for me, but it might be done without, but would be very difficult. Another solution I read here was to use candle wax. I did this, and it did work, but for how long would be the question. I wish they would provide a shim if this is a known problem. But so many positive reviews makes me wonder if mine was od
