    Things I liked:

I like the feel of this gun not to heavy not to light, love the wood stock and forarm no cheap plastic..not much plastic overall, trigger pull is very good.power is good for small game.i can cover a group of five shots with a dime at 10 meaters.cant beat the price for what you get.

    Things I would have changed:

    nothing

    What others should know:

try all type of pellets until you find one that works for you.what works good for me might work for other shooters.

    Things I liked:

    Availability, price and user friendly.

    Things I would have changed:

make it grip tighter on the barrel.

    What others should know:

I shimmed the mounts up with some small squares cut from a yellow dishwashing type rubber glove and just snugged the screws up and they hold wonderfully. I did this from the start after reading so many bad reviews on these mounts, and scout mounted on my Blue Streak they have help turn this gun into my now favorite airgun. Once you scope one of these guns youll never want to use factory sites again.

    Things I liked:

I just had to try these mounts because my tired old eyes kept me shooting poorly. They're rock solid and very easy to mount on my Benjamin 392. This gun is dead on accurate as ti comes from the factory. But now with these mounts and a long relief pistol scope I can take advantage of that accuracy. What a difference this has made.

    Things I would have changed:

    Not one thing!

    What others should know:

If you have a Benjamin pump rifle, pistol, or a C02 pistol you should purchase a pair of these. Your shooting enjoyment will increase ten fold when you mount the proper scope to these mounts.

    Rating 4.04.0 4.0

    Things I liked:

They're pretty cheap. They don't have a huge offset/parallax. They work pretty well on my Benjamin 397 rifle and Crossman 1377 handgun. I haven't had any problem with the pistol scope on the 397 or the cheap red dot on the 1377 moving, but I mostly only use 2 or 3 pumps.

    Things I would have changed:

Seems like they could be made with well defined pivot point instead of two flat spots mating. Two screws per mount would improve stability. I'd prefer Phillips to slotted screws. I'd pay more for a better mount than this if offered.

    What others should know:

Having read the cautions about deforming the brass barrel I certainly haven't cranked the screws hard.

    Things I liked:

It works. The Sheridan pump guns are more accurate than the iron sights allow. At least for a guy like me with an astigmatism in his right eye. The gun needs a scope.

    Things I would have changed:

Might be nice if the diameter of the barrel profile on the clamp was a little smaller so it actually clamped on the barrel instead of threatening to pry the barrel off the pump tube. (I doubt very much that this could happen, but still...) I guess these are designed to fit the .22 as well. I might make a shim out of heavy foil to fill that gap and get more even clamping pressure.

    What others should know:

For proper eye relief, if you buy this intermount and the $10 daisy scope, you have to take the rear ring from the scope and move it up front so that both rings are forward of the windage and elevation knobs. It's a good setup. Since I put that scope on my vintage Sheridan .20 blue streak it will do half-inch, one-hole groups at 30 yards.

    Things I liked:

Only one I found for sale.

    Things I would have changed:

First - It needed to be deburred to get a good mount. Messing up the black coating aswell. Second - It has no provision to keep aligned from one side to another or piece to piece. Third - Cheep slotted screw needs torxs heads.

    What others should know:

It helps to have some electrical tape around the barel or the new sillicone stuff. It tightens down better on the barel. Take your time you can make it work.

    nice color

    Things I would have changed:

2 screw instead of one.Doesnt quit fit snug even after tightening.tighten it so much that the screw broke.

    What others should know:

ordered another set and will modify this one and use 3mm screw with flat washer on head of screw and nuts and lock washer on back.will be painted to match.does work better with offset mount for a scope.

    Things I liked:

They are the right height for a good positioning of the scope. Easy to mount.

    Things I would have changed:

They are almost too big to fit on my .177 barrel. Good screws though and if you twist hard the mounts will clamp down on the barrel.

    Things I liked:

Good quality. Nicely mechined. Good finish.

    Things I would have changed:

I didn't find any problem with these mounts.

    What others should know:

I don't understand why there are so many bad reviews of the Crosman B272 4-Pc Intermount. They worked perfectly for me. I used them to mount a Simmons Red Dot sight on my 1950's .20 Sheridan Blue Streak. Bought mine at Queen's Mountain Outfitters and they were listed as 4-Pc Crosman Intermount 397/392/Pistol. Looks just like the Crosman B272 4-Pc Intermount. On my .20 Sheridan, they tightened securely and had plenty of tightening capability left, so the should work just as well on a .177. Here's a thought. Something I just noticed. Look closely at the picture of the Crosman B272 4-Pc Intermount above. There is a difference between the mount on the right and the mount on the left. Both of my mounts were like the one on the right, with the gap between the two pieces. The gap is caused by a shoulder at the top that prevents the two pieces from touching any where except at the very top and the very bottom of the flat surface between the mount halves. Each of the 4 pieces should have that shoulder at the top of the mount where the two pieces are meant to mate. It extends out about 1/32" and causes a 1/16 gap between the two pieces. That shoulder allows the part of the mount that grips the barrel to close to a smaller diameter (1/16" smaller) and thus grip tighter than if the shoulder wasn't there. I would suggest that , if you receive a set without the shoulder, send them back as defective. EDIT 26 March 2010: I just finished zeroing the Red Dot scope, using Exact Diabolo pellets, at 30 yds. It took two groups of three shots to zero the scope. The third group of three shots drew an l in the dead center of the target that was 3/8" tall(all shots touching and in vertical alignment). I'm really impressed with this setup.

    Things I liked:

Well made and matches the finish on my Blue Streak rifle. Although it's listed for current production rifles, it fits my 1974 Blue Streak. It is perfect for use with the Leapers 1-pc offset mount which holds my Leapers 4X32 full size rifle scope.

    Things I would have changed:

Closer tolerance in the production. One of the intermounts fit perfectly while the other was loose and wouldn't completely tighten until shimmed a total of .009 inches.

    What others should know:

To finish installing the one loose intermount, I didn't want to use tape, glue, or anything that might not be permanent under the clamp. I got a small packet of brass shim stock which included several thicknesses. This stuff is roughly the thickness of tissue paper and can be cut easily with scissors. I cut it slightly smaller than the area that clamps onto the barrel so that it wouldn't show. It took 3 layers of .003 inch thick brass. When fully tightened, the clamp remained solidly in place.

    Things I liked:

It allowed me to mount a scout scope on a benjamin 397. I had wanted to play with a forward scope mount so i bought the gun and this mount to do so. For this it worked.

    Things I would have changed:

The basic design is poor. The clamping pressure of the rings on the dovetail acts to unclamp the bases from the barrel. Since the bases have one small screw and the rings have a pair of larger screws the ring screws have to be left somewhat loose so that the base will stay clamped to the barrel. Also the bases are made out of some non-metallic material and I was concerned that the screw tapped into it would strip if I tightened it enough to counteract the forces of the ring clamp screws. The dovetail should be independent of the bases attachment to the barrel which would require re-designing the entire mount but as it is this is a really marginal way of attaching a scope to this gun, I am looking for something better even if I have to build it myself.

    Things I liked:

Well constructed and are the best option to add a scope for pistols like the Benjamin HB17.

    Things I would have changed:

I will change the design a little bit to make it fit more tight on the barrel..

    What others should know:

The quality is really good and the finish match perfect on my HB17, the only bad thing its they are a little to big for the barrel of the Benjamin so the scope keep moving arround, I was working on a mod for my pistol so I wasn't worried and use some clear epoxic to fix the problem.

    Things I liked:

They keep the box company that I have put them in,,,

    Things I would have changed:

These mounts do not fit the barrel of my Benjamin with good security. They do NOT provide the amount of clamping force to provide stability. I also do not like the fact that a pistol scope must be used...I WOULD NOT suggest that a purchase of these mounts be made.

    Things I liked:

Fair price, good construction, and a nice overall appearance. If you want to upgrade your Benjamin's factory sights these are a must. Whether you want to use a laser, dot-sight, scope,etc.. These mounts are what you need.

    Things I would have changed:

On my HB17 they actually fit a little too loose. Some sort of spacing is needed. I'm not one for putting tape on any part of my air guns. So I tried some thin strips of foam material I had laying around the house. Seems to be holding. You can't exactly have your intermounts moving around freely, that would defeat the purpose.

    What others should know:

Personally I don't mind the extra tinkering with products like these. Aftermarket parts for air guns don't always work the way you want. Modifying them so they do is a pleasure to someone like me.

    Things I liked:

it's a good first try at a mount for guns that obviously were'nt meant for scope mounts

    Things I would have changed:

there should be to tightening screws instead of one on each mount and they should be a good beefy larger diameter allen head bolt . Also the inside of the clamp that actualy comes into contact with the barrel of the gun needs to have some kind of texturing to it so it bites in a bit and prevents slipage.

    What others should know:

if your gonna try these mounts , and i have ... both on my Benjamin HB17 and my Crosman 1377 .....choose as light a sight as possible to mount on them , tighten the hell out of the mounts , pump softly , and hope for the best .

    Things I liked:

It allows me to mount the scope set up beyond the pellet loading chamber instead of directly over it like the Air Venturi Mount.

    Things I would have changed:

A better mount to barrel tightening system. Offer it in a dovetail / weaver mount.

    What others should know:

I wanted to be able to use some of the rifle scopes and reddots I have on hand, so I bought the: UTG DOVETAIL 3/8"-WEAVER PICATINNY 7/8"RAIL ADAPTER for 15.00 delivered. I too was was unable to get this mount to tighten down enough to hold a full size scope and in the end ended up grinding the little metal tabs off on the inside top of the mount. Be warned - do this on only one side of the mount and not on both side of the same mount, otherwise you will not be able to tighten it on your gun. I know this because I did it on both sides of the same mount ,and found out that it took away all clamping pressures of the mount to the barrel. Because I only did this to one mount and not both, I buddied up one ground side with one untouched side, which ended up putting the ground off tabs, on opposites sides of the barrel. I don't know if this is structurally better, but I think it would be because you are providing clamping pressure on two different sides of the barrel instead of the same side of the barrel.

I can put a scope on my Benjamin 397

    Things I would have changed:

I could not get the mount tight enough, it could have fit better. I opened the mount all the way, while it was in position on the barrel, and back filled it with epoxy, snuged up the screws, align the two mounts by temporary mounting scope mount, remove scope mount and let epoxy set over night.....this thing is rock solid now

    What others should know:

I dont know how long this mount will stay rock solid ... but i shure like havin a scope on this little shooter it groups great, which makes it fun to shoot.oh i mounted a 4x32 bushnell sportview with a leapers offset mount
