I like to have a back up magazine for the original aluminum

It does not work very smooth you have to force the pellet into the Walter Rotek ( I have the Walther MaximaThor and is the same thing) Not a very good product but is the only option...

One of the two works flawlessly, the other will not index after the first shot. The two mags that came with the 850 AM work fine. Tried the same pellet in all 4 of my mags and that one just will not spin. Would be an easy 4 star rating (price is a bit high) if they had both worked as intended.

Tighter tolerances to factory spec.

If you get two working mags, you're in business. I went 1 for 2 and for the price, I wish the tolerances were tighter or they were at least checked by manufacturer before packaging for proper indexing.

when bsa and fx are hitting customers for 50-60 bucks for 1 mag. it's real nice to get these 2 mags for less than 20 bucks.

Have not used it, it's winter in Wisconsin 9 degrees this am. Received in 3 days and highly recommended by your experts to buy. Excellent condition, waiting to get into warmer place.

o ring material for lasting strength, make these with identical specs/tolerances as the factory originals so pellets fit and clip rotates without causing jams and smoother bolt action. All of these ares need changing and are a major problem with some of the replacement clips.

Extra clips are a must. Haven said that, finding the right pellet is challenging in order for smooth operation without jams.

Strong composite material, not plastic. O ring seems like it will last in this application.

The price of these clips is too high for what they are. This is sort of a "BOHICA" deal. I use them in a Hammerli 850 which is a pellet fussy rifle. The occasional jam is always blamed on the pellet used, but I'm starting to suspect these clips have more than a little to do with it. Maybe the teeth on the metal part are not consistent? The o ring should be a Viton. Two of mine are harder than the other four I have. Lube helps a bit.

Be sure to seat the pellets in these. Lube the o ring liberally. Snap the clip in the gun. Use some strength to push the bolt forward, but stop if it hangs up. Remove the clip, fire the gun. 99 percent chance there is a pellet in the barrel. Much safer to fire it down range than try to push it out with a ram rod. You might put your eye out -- for real.

8 pellet clip allows for onsite reloading.

Consider changing the elastic strip which holds most of the pellets in place with an unbroken elastic band that completely covers all of the pellet chambers.

These clips are great! So far all that I have cycle great through my Hammerli 850 .22 cal. I currently have 6 clips and seems like I can go through them so fast I catch my self loading the ones I just get done shooting! Will buy more! Can't have enough preloaded lol! I use a Gallen shotgun shell stock holder and the clips fit it them perfectly to have easy access to change a empty clip fast!

Maybe $10 for two but that's it!

They are very simple and work well. The O-ring grip is straight forward and they are easily replaced. A good magazine overall IMO.

I think they are a bit over priced. I'd like at least a 10 round clip instead of the 8.

I don't believe they deserve the 5 star rating; but I'm really happy with them overall. They could be a little better.

These are simple and easy to use and install. They hold the pellets very well and are less likely to jam unlike the hatsan

If it was possible to make these a 10 shot over the 8 would be awesome! I dont mind the 8 but 10 would be better. Make loading thick pellets a little easier too.

Buy lots! This is easy to lose because of the dark color and the do not make a sound when they fall vs the metal ones like the hatsan

When new pellets are a very tight fit. I use a pen cap to make sure they are in all the way.

They work perfectly and if you're investing in the Hammerli 850, spend a few more bucks for spare magazines - you will need them because it's so much fun to shoot!

Hammerli 850 Magnum appears to be sturdy and should last quite a while. Still trying to find an accurate pellet. I bought several different types but can't find some that I put away!?! VERY comfortable to shoot, light, and handles nicely.

I would beef up the metal center piece in the magazines just a little...make the catches more pronounced. They look pretty small, and even though they may be made of hard material, once those little points get worn down even a little there will be problems. Also, I would tighten up the loading ports. I ordered two extra mags and have found that several of the "chambers" don't hold the pellet snug at all. They don't fall out, but do slide back and forth inside the chamber. I haven't had any problems with firing all the pellets...that I know of, but would feel more confident when hunting if my pellets were held a little tighter.

I received my replacement Hammerli 850 Magnum last week. The first one had to be returned after only 8 shots. A seal broke and let all the CO2 leak out. I'm not sure what happened, whether it was my fault or the manufacturer, but I had NO trouble at all getting an RMA number from Pyramydair, and getting a new replacement in about 10 days.

The simple design allows for quick and easy exchange of clips. If one uses only RWS pellets, then the likelihood of a jam is minimal. I thought that the pointed pellets such as the Superpoint would be a problem... so far, no jamming.

I have read whereby someone suggested that the entire clip should be metal. I think the hard plastic material is good enough and metal may be more conducive to chamber feed problems. I think the price is a bit much and should be in the range of $4.95 per set as opposed to the $12.95 per set.

I've shot over 4000 rounds and the German designed loading system is one of the best I've encountered.
