greate air chamber lube,no dieseling at all,spring cylinder oil is greate,cleans rust very well,got my very old crosman air rifle back in business.

Do away with the PELLETS, we all have a TON of them already, also do away with the small paper targets, again we all have all kids all over the house (plus some extra photos of our X-Wives that work prity well) Make the oils containers larger, this kit will just about get most of our gus ready one time.

Just make sure you read the labels so you use the right oil in the right spots, aslo do not over do it with the oil in the POWER CHAMBER.

Was to disappointed to like anything

Very cheap product. Did not want pellets. Targets are a joke. Rods broke at threaded end. Al this for 45.00

Save your money and go with a better product

Good quality lubricants and cleaning tools.

Leave out the targets and pellets and put it in a plastic case with .22 cal brush also.

Leave out the pellets and targets and add a sturdy case with room for .22 and .25 rods.

Contains RWS's recommended high quality chamber oil and spring oil. Steel rod threads together easily with no rough edges at the joints. Quality RWS pellets in the 8g range provided in the kit for initial sighting in of your rifle.

Make the rod end with a female threaded end or an adapter that will accept more readily available male threaded jags and brushes. Once the nylon brush is worn out, good luck trying to find a replacement brush. Once the brush is worn out, the rod is only good for use with the aluminum cleaning pellet pusher.

This is still a good starter kit. Inclusion of the pellets and the RWS oil make this kit a reasonable value. Ultimately, you're probably going to get a different cleaning rod and accessories.

The tools enclosed are of good quality.

Too bad they don't delete the pellets and targets and offer this in a re-useable case, perhaps one capable of holding a .22 rod and additional cleaning supplies. I have targets and lots of pellets but am having trouble finding some sort of travel container.

Both of the plastic bottle tops were loose! One of them had leaked all the oil out. I have not asked PA for an adjustment yet.

A decent basic cleaning kit.

Works well on my Crosman Storm XT. The pellets are a nice throw in.

More cleaning pellets. Keep the paper targets. Kind of expensive if all you want is a cleaning kit, but excellent value if you use the pellets.

I use Crosman silicone oil to lube the power plant and then clean the barrel with this kit. It takes about 30 shots after this clean and oil to regain accuracy (no scope adjustment required, just put some pellets through the rifle). I initially just cleaned the rifle, but eventually shot both tins. I'm glad I did as these RWS pellets are about the best I've found for accuracy.

Came with everything needed to service my air rifle. The needle attachment is indispensable to get to the hard to reach places without taking the rifle apart.

Maybe offer just a cleaning kit, this is a little more than JUST a cleaning kit.

I purchased this kit for two reasons: 1) getting both the chamber lube and spring oil in one kit, instead of separately, and 2) the two tins of RWS pellets.

Cost seems a bit high for such a kit, even at PA's discount over other sites.

With my Stoeger X5, I only need the handle and one length of rod to push cleaning pellets through, but with the nylon brush, I had to use all three rod parts to make sure the brush exited the muzzle. Also, buy more cleaning pellets. The 25 it comes with will not last long.

everything is perfect i just would like to be able to buy curtain items by themselfs. didnt need pellets,targets,or lubricants only because i had them from .22 kit. rod,jag and brush should be sold separetly.

i dont know why other reviews were bashing the rod. maybe i got lucky but mine is strong. both .177 and .22 kits are perfect. rws pellets are awesome but they just didnt work in ruger air mag. rws hp's though worked the best.

The pellets and lubricants.

The rod is a piece of junk. If you tighten the pieces so it does not come apart it flares the ends.

Variety of items you get for the money.

I primarily purchased this as an alternative to the Dewey cleaning rod. Same money -- more stuff. The problem is there is no mention of the fact the rod ends with male threads instead of female threads. As a result the brass brushes and mop I ordered with it will not fit. The industry standard is male threads on the attachments, not the cleaning rod!

If you plan on using only the nylon brush and cleaning pellet pusher that comes with the kit then this is a good deal. But if you want a cleaning rod to work with jags, brushes, mops, etc. then do not get this product. Get the Dewey cleaning rod instead.

Add to the number of cleaning pellets instead of giving two small tins of lead pellets. Also, the cleaning rod snapped at the joint on initial cleaning making the rod useless

If I had to do it again, wouldn't buy a kit. The cleaning rod is poor quality

DE-BURR the cleaning rod joints-(I did it myself on mine) Include some cleaning patches. Include some bore cleaner (I was amazed at the lead I got out after 100 shots)-. A nylon flexible cleaning rod like I could use on my RWS 52would be nice. Iwant to clean it in a way that guardes the muzzle crown, but I'm too shakey in the hands to use those tapered brass crown guards.

RWS makes good stuff. (I'm kinda picky). The consistency of RWS pellets is better than some name brands I shouldn't mention here.

This kit is well worth the money,it can be used on all .17 calibers. I have used it in the feild on my 17HMR to swab out the barrel while sighting in a new scope which I had mounted. The kit comes with all the basic maintnance products needed. Some will want to add certain things,but in all I recomend this kit, its a must for keeping your gun clean and lubricated.

Increase the quanity of the cleaning pellets in the kit!

Tkit is compact enough that you can take it in the field or to the range with you, for a quick cleaning.

Nice to have the lubricants included in the package.

Better instructions would be nice, a cleaning jag to pull cleaning patches through the barrel would be even better. You go through those cleaning pellets pretty quickly. And considering the amount of material (and frustration) that goes into the plastic clam shell packaging, RWS should have just packaged this in a reusable plastic storage bin, which the customer is going to need anyway.

Other reviewers question the inclusion of the pellets and paper targets, but as a criticism, that's not entirely fair. This is labeled as a shooters kit, not a cleaning kit. It is unfortunate that RWS doesn't make a kit with just the cleaning supplies for $5-$10 less, however.
