Things I liked:I bought and recieved mine in late Nov/Early Dec 2009,and have been shooting it since then.It is everythihg i had hoped for and more.I have taken 3 doves and 5 pidgeons with the gun.All one shot kills out to about 37 yards. This is a great little small game gun and i would recommend it to all interested parties.
Things I would have changed:Bulk fill CO2 option
What others should know:If you buy it and don't like it you probably don't like fun airguns.Buy one of these and try it out, you'll probably love it as much as i do mine.To all-enjoy...

Things I liked:Once sighten in w/ scope it's very accurate
Things I would have changed:Quality of the gun itself
What others should know:Without the scope you'd be lucky to hit the side of a barn from the inside. Front sight cocked left 15 degrees. Flimsy rear sight bent and made of very thin material so you could bend it back if you wanted to. I wouldn't recommend this gun with iron sights only. Go with the scope or something else all together.

Things I liked:No startling observations. However, everything you read is true. This is a great little carbine: very accurate and light. Everyone can have fun with this rifle. It is very easy to shoot well. It is no 50 yard rifle. Keep your targets within 30 (maybe 40) yards and it is great. Also don’t expect it to go 40 yards when it is 49 degrees outside. This power envelope is not a disadvantage in a suburban environment or other locations where the open space is limited to small parcels of land. Every Air gunner should have one of these. Friends new to the sport will get instant success using this rifle…. We all are ambassadors of air gunning. The scope that comes with it is a great match for the gun and all that is needed given the power level.
Things I would have changed:The open sites are a waste. The trigger is o.k.
What others should know:I am an oddity. I have gone from Mercedes to Corvettes, and RWS to Crosman. Nitro Piston baby...

Things I liked:Ease of use, weight, accuracy.
Things I would have changed:More flexibility in mounting the scope. For my comfortable shooting position I had to have the rings gripping the very edge of the grooves. I would also like the ability to lighten the trigger pull. A device (such as the one for the Ruger LGR) whereby one could remove the CO2 cartridge without losing alll the gas. would be great.
What others should know:Manufacturing quality control seems to be non-existant. The bolt was immoveable by hand. The service agent at Pyramid Air suggested I take a hammer to it. This did release the bolt and I got about 50 shots before the entire bolt mechanism failed totally. I am awaiting a replacement.

Things I liked:Sweet shooting gun. Nice balance & fairly quiet.
Things I would have changed:Rear sight is way too sharp edged & cheap looking for an otherwise excellent gun.

Things I liked:This gun is really great and super fun. It had the power i wanted for small game such as rabbits and squirrels. it will get the job done at around 20-25 yards. This gun was easy to sight in. i got and average of 30 shots before the co2 began to show signs of weakness. Get the 2260se instead of the 2260. the 2260se has better open sights, and a steel breech for mounting optics.also comes with a 6x32 rgb scope.
Things I would have changed:bulk fill option
What others should know:if you use this gun to hunt, keep it below 30 yards and keep with you a couple of co2 cartridges. ( this gun uses 12 gram co2)

Things I liked:I like the co2 feature. I can shoot forever with a few cartridges and a tin of ammo. It seems to be be a very accurate gun out to about 33yds. I bought the package w/ the scope. A few slight adjustments and it was on target. I'm from central PA and it is now too cold to further work on sighting it in. Did I say it was freezing out? Oh yea, It looks like a pellet rifle. I have yet to bag any starlings with this fellow. But I am anxiously awaiting spring.
      Things I would have changed:Nothing
What others should know:Seems to be a good value for the money. It is rapidly becoming one of my favorites. I have a Benjamin pump, a Discoverer, and a Marauder, all .22 cal. I like the extra weight for knock down power. They are all great guns, however the ease of changing cartridges versus pumping the air resevoir of all the others is a definate plus.

Things I liked:Just what I wanted - simple, accurate, low cost per shot.
Things I would have changed:Ever wonder way the USA has lost the edge in manufacturing? Crosman has a great product line but the quality is crap. Poor finish, scratched scope, forgot to the scope rings.
What others should know:We all need to bug Crosman to improve on their quality. If Ford Motor can get it Crosman should also.

Things I liked:Nice hardwood stock, accurate, light trigger.
Things I would have changed:Rear sight is terrible. Just a bendable blade, not adjustable for elevation or windage.
What others should know:I received my 2260SE with a bad scope, and scratches all over the bluing. (as if it were cut multiple times with a razor knife while someone was opening a box) If it weren't for the bad scope, and poor condition of the rifle I received, I would have given it 5 stars.

Things I liked:Very accurate! Light weight. real wood. fun to shoot.
Things I would have changed:I like the stock it is real wood but could be more refined, This Is a nice little airgun crossman has they could really make it something with just a better looking stock and more power this thing would be great! All in all though it is worth the money and fun to shoot.
What others should know:This gun Is accurate! I have mine shot in at 25 yrds with beeman silver bear hi impact hollow points and it groups very very well! I have a airforce condor and a rws 350 and this 2260 will shoot right with them in the accuracy department at 30 yrds or closer. the 2260 shoots around 600 fps with the silver bears over my crony, test was done at 68 degrees. Not as powerful as some guns but if your looking for accuracy, a good priced gun and enough power from 30 yrds and in this is a good gun to look at!! Very accurate!
