Things I liked:

A real heavyweight. Very impressed with fit and finish. Early shooting shows it is very accurate. After unpacking and running a few patches through the bore, I had no problem hitting some plastic beer bottles hanging from strings on by back fence at 26 yards, without touching the iron sights. Haven't used the scope, and probably won't mount it as I prefer the iron at short ranges (Com"on, you don.t need a scope under 50 yards!). After I get a couple hundred pellets fired, I'll fire it through the Chrony and update the review. Stay tuned!

Things I would have changed:

Nothing yet. Impressed overall.

What others should know:

This air piston takes a good arm to cock the rifle. But after about 30 shots, it is seeming to smooth out and get a little easier. Everything is really solid, no play in moving parts. I find the thumbhole stock very comfortable and makes the rifle very easy to steady on target. So far I am really liking this air gun. Will update with velocities in a couple of weeks.

    Things I liked:

Accurate - powerful out of the box. Looks good in Camo !!!

    Things I would have changed:

Smaller and easier to cock and lighter.

    What others should know:

The gun is great for getting rid of pests, but it was to much power for me. I wanted something to use accionally, easy to cock and carry.I live in the city, this is more for someone on a farm. Sorry to send it back and downgrade a bit. Final verdict: Great Rifle!!!

    Things I liked:

Beautiful gun to look at, shoots as good as it looks. No sight adjustment needed, VERY ACCURATE rifle,I'm not even going to bother with the scope, first Hatsan I purchased, not at all disappointed, thought a little pricey, up until I shot it.Good rifle.

    Things I would have changed:

    Nothing

    What others should know:

Needs a little muscle to break barrel.

    A very smooth shooter..fairly accurate

    Things I would have changed:

    Better scope will be needed

    What others should know:

I have the 25 cal....the thumb hole was nice until it broke in two this morning....guess they had problems with them breaking...I happen to have a falcon hunter in 25 cal hope the stock from it will fit.....stick with the wood stock on these big springers or piston jobs...rough on stocks..I will see if I can whittle one from wood to replace it...hardly broke in and I do love the mechanical parts...very well made.

    Things I liked:

Hold is nice on stock. Trigger is smooth. Gun shoots well. Bore is a bit tighter than my others but shoots the jsb 18 grain pellets like lasers.

    Things I would have changed:

Less trigger travel. Safety feels weak but works. Has a loud ring after firing ,sounds like a tuning fork in stock area. Needs a true silencer not a handle for cocking.

    What others should know:

Try jsb 18 grain pellets first. Save some money. My gun is picky on pellets, but loves the jsb line of pellets.

    Things I liked:

I just received my Hatsan 125 (.22) last week. The camo is Mossy Oak design. It really looks good. The scope (3X9) is also adequate. This rifle packs a serious punch, and has a pretty good recoil. It took about 30 minutes to get the scope mounted and sighted in.

    Things I would have changed:

I like the gun just as it is!

    What others should know:

This rifle is definitely not an 'entry level' gun. It is heavy and not that easy to shoot without something to prop on or against. And it takes some serious muscle to cock it. It is pretty accurate at 100 feet. 5 pellets within an inch of each other. (H&N Field Target Trophy 14.66 gr). I also have a Gamo Silent Cat .177, and the Hatsan is just as quiet, and more accurate and much more deadly. I bought this gun for squirrel hunting. I am totally satisfied with my purchase.

    Things I liked:

Accuracy, trigger, and powerful. Shoots Crosman pellets and H and N domed very well.

    Things I would have changed:

Better scope and Ambi-pistol grip would be nice. Still I bought the camo pistol grip stock and feels really good and well balance.

    What others should know:

I have a couple of Hatsans and this is my favorite because of the stock. This gun is powerful and accurate. I can hit soda cans 80-100 yards away open sight. I purchase a better scope than the one included and this thing is very accurate. Pistol grip stock is the way to go. Even my trail np is great with this stock. I like Hatsan products but their customer service is very rude and unprofessional. When I ordered this rifle I email Pyramyd back that I change my mind and instead sent me the Benjamin NP XL but I guess they don't read their emails. But still overall I really like this rifle alot.

    Things I liked:

Able to dial in the scope very quickly. Power and consistant groups. Great looking gun.

    Things I would have changed:

Heavy; Takes two hands (for me) to cock; Moving the safety to the firing posiion doesn't work smoothly.

    What others should know:

    Not at this time.

    Things I liked:

There is a big psychological reason for the nitro piston instead of the spring. If your going critter hunting you can cock the rifle ahead of time and just sit back and wait for that rabbit. Compressed air has no problem waiting versus a mechanical spring........ All test shots at 50 ft. AMMO tested..... H&N Field Target Trophy.....19.91 gr / JSB Match Diabolo Exact King..... 25.39 gr / H&N Baracuda... 31.02 gr PHONE BOOK penetration...JSB Match Diabolo Exact King.....725 pages / H&N Baracuda....646 pages 1 inch Pine Decking...H&N Field Target Trophy--- went1/3 way through / JSB Match Diabolo Exact King--- punched holes through / H&N Baracuda--- went 1/3 way through Lethal Penetration … Save your empty vegetable cans and your water bottles. Refill with tap water, the water bottles and place them inside the empty vegetable cans. You now have a reproducible target I call the “Armored Bunny”. It is thick skinned and is sloshy on the inside. It gives a very practical visual test of penetration power and at what distance? Target = 3 “Armored Bunnies” lined up / H&N Field Target Trophy--- punched through the first bunny, stopped in the water of bunny #2 / JSB Match Diabolo Exact King--- punched through the first bunny, the second bunny, & through the steel, plastic, water, plastic , and cracked the steel on the exit side of the 3rd bunny. / H&N Baracuda--- punched through the first bunny, interred the second bunny and stopped in the water of bunny #2.

    Things I would have changed:

Your ammo expenses will go up if you shoot in 25 caliber. But it is well worth it. Once I went 25 cal, picking up one of my 22's or 177's seems extremely light weight. The CAMO is very detailed but must have been designed for northern climates in the winter. There is too much white in the camouflage. Still looks cool though. The rifle is big in length, almost 49 inches, but this gives it the capability of close to a 20 inch barrel for better accuracy. I live in a big city so I have to shoot under 60 feet, but this summer I’m going back to the family farm and scatter some “armored bunnies” out to 300 feet to test true lethality at distance. Once I get that distance, the garden will be a critter free zone..........: )

    What others should know:

Accuracy …...At 50 feet using a standing rest you can “key hole” with it. That means put the pellets through the hole the previous pellet made. I did this with the provided scope the rifle came with set at almost 4. The scope Hatsan supplies is quite sufficient and will get the job done. Hatsans in 25 cal are very powerful and because of this some people have trouble cocking them. USE MY METHOD and you can shoot all day. If you are right handed :(A) Place the butt of the rifle on the toes of your right shoe, scope facing to the right (B) Place your right hand on the stock where the barrel breaks (C) With your left hand break the barrel loose (D) Then place your left hand at the top of the barrel and push it down while bending at your waist until it cocks. Let your body weight cock the gun and not your forearm muscle. The rifle won't wear you out this way...... Noise level and Vibration....I shoot into a steel rimfire trap. I see through the scope the target getting hit and hear the pellet strike the trap, that's all. The silence of this rifle and vibration free action with next to no kickback is fantastic. Weight and Trigger …. This is not a TOY. It is powerful and to make it so it must have some solid mass to control the power. It's heaviness gives the feeling of well built stability. Yes it weighs....... Every gun made should come with the Quattro trigger system. It is adjustable to each owners specs for no excuses great shooting.

    Things I liked:

While the cocking effort is quite high, the cocking action itself is very smooth with the nitro piston installed. I was very please to discover that Pyramyd included the spring that they took out of it when installing the nitro piston. I found the accuracy to be very good at distances up to 35 yards. I have not shot it longer distances yet. The included camo thumbhole stock is nicer than I expected with a good fit and finish.

    Things I would have changed:

This rifle is long! I suppose that is to be somewhat expected in a magnum rifle, but at just over 48" in length the handling is quite awkward through thick woods. The good news is that it can double as a boat oar should the need ever arise :)

    What others should know:

I got mine in .25 caliber and find that it shoots the JSB Exact Kings very well.

    Things I liked:

I love the solid feel of this air rifle. I have never shot a pellet rifle other than a beeman pump 45 years ago and this one is so much more. The Nitro Piston gives more of a quick light shake than a true recoil.

    Things I would have changed:

As others have said in the various Hatsan reviews, the scope isn't great but is functional. Sling studs would be useful for slings if one was to carry this thing in the woods.

    What others should know:

Crosman Premier .22 Cal, 14.3 Grains, Hollowpoints shoot well and are devastating on garden pests. After reading reviews on many air rifles I was curios about the "heavy recoil" of the springers. This rifle has a very light recoil.

    Things I liked:

Update as promised. This rifle has no problem punching completely through 1/2 inch plywood. I'm consistently creating groups of less than one inch at 26 Yards. Running various pellets through a Beta Chrony, here's the scoop. All are ten shot averages: Benjamin Discovery 14.3gr: 878fps, Avg Dev 7.7fps. Predator PolyMag 16.2gr: 824fps, Avg Dev 6.1fps. H&N Excite Copper 16.5gr: 787fps, Avg Dev 5.1fps. RWS Super-H Point 14.2gr: 870fps, Avg Dev 6.7fps.

    Things I would have changed:

    Still nothing.

    What others should know:

You won't regret buying this rifle. I really like the dual scope mount. I tried both 11mm and Weaver and both mount very securely. I am totaly satisfied with the performance of this gun. Living in South Texas, backyard nuisance critters should be very nervous.
