Things I liked:

Power, Looks, Accuracy, Adjust-ability, Muzzle break/Silencer, Trigger, Sling, Is there anything left??

Things I would have changed:

The included bipod is plastice not metal (as posted on PA specifications)and is not much of a use unless it was fitted with a more sturdy spring which would provide reasonable clamping power. If only the stock would be in Turkish Walnut :D

What others should know:

I did not purchase from PA, I'm from Pakistan & I got an optima 3-9x44e scope with the package along with an extra scope stop. i am 6f 3" and 94 Kgs, and this gun gives me a workout. It is not for kids, it is for strong adults as it is long, heavy and got a fair bit of kick, and takes a fair amount of cocking effort. I haven't scoped my gun yet, have shot at least 70 pellets through it without making a single bit of adjustment to the installed fiber optic sights and out of the box this gun is DEADLY accurate and powerful. We do not have access to the whole JSB, H&N, Crossman pellet lines. The pellets available to us are H&N wadcutters, Gamo pro magnum, Gamo match, and Gamo pointed. I used Gamo pro magnum pellets with good result, tighter groups (2 cm x 3 cm) at 10 yards open sights. H&N wadcutters are lighter, produced 1.8cm x 3.75 cm groups at 10 yards with open sights with occasional flyers and atleast 3 pellets producing a louder than usual crack. It is imperative that you use artillery hold for best results. So far I am VERY pleased with my purchase.

Things I liked:

Fills like a solid rifle and I believe the power is as described.

Things I would have changed:

Trigger does not live up to claims. It does not seem to matter where you set the screws on the trigger there is very little change on the lbs of of pull. The trigger seems to be set around 4lbs and I could not get it to change. The screw was already turned all the way clockwise when I got the rifle( as much reduced pull as possible). Unscrewing the screw which should cause a higher pull does not seem to do so. Screwing it back in all way makes no difference either. Same thing with stage 1 pull screw. I am shooting Beemen Kodiaks, which have worked very well for me in the past in other air rifles, which only provides a 1.5 inch grouping at 10 yds so not very accurate. At 10 yds with my other air rifles I have groupings smaller than a dime.

What others should know:

I have not had the rifle out side for further yardage shooting but disappointed in accuracy at 10 yds. Even with the claimed recoil suppressor the gun kicks like most of the piston rifles I have shot before. I took the scope stop block off so I could move the scope mount to the very back of scope rail. Even with mount screws tighten very tightly the scope mounts slip because of the recoil. I had to put the scope block back. FYI, I am using a much more expense scope than the one that came with the gun.

    Things I liked:

I like just about everything. This is a really nice rifle, right out of the box. Fixed sights were shooting about 2 inches high at 20 yards. Within 5 rounds and a little sight adjustment this gun was dead on at 30 yards.

    Things I would have changed:

With the suppressor this rifle is a little long making it a hard to move around in the woods if you're hunting squirrels.

    What others should know:

I have not really been into air rifles since I was 10. They have come a long way since the early 70's. They only other air guns I have any experience with were ones I bought my son years ago. They were top name brands but of the lesser price range. They were not accurate and some reviews I read said they could take up to 300-400 rounds to break in. This rifle was good right out of the box.

    Things I liked:

Accurate, quiet, powerful. Real joy to shoot. Grew up with pellet and bb guns, and the neighborhood critters were really lucky I didn't have something like this. Great, cheap way to practice your marksmanship for the "real thing", right in your backyard. No one would mistake the sound for a firearm. But powerful and accurate enough to take out rodents at 50 yards or more (if you're really good).

    Things I would have changed:

Would probably be better to take some off the price and leave the scope out of the equation. It's not great.

    What others should know:

I don't see how it's possible anyone wouldn't love this. It's absolutely crucial to get a good pellet. The best I've found is the JSB Diablo 18.13 grain. They are incredibly accurate. I tried the JSB 25.something grain and beyond 20 yards they were useless. With the 18.13 I'm right on point out to 80 yards, and consistent. Other pellets were a really bad experience to the point where I'd have been questioning the accuracy of the gun if I didn't have my hands on the 18.13s before trying the other ones.

    Things I liked:

I bought this rifle from PA about two or three years ago which was several years after catching the airgun "buzz". The Hatsan 125 Sniper was the first airgun that I fell back in love with as an adult. I had air rifles as a boy, and bought and owned a few as an adult. However, the 125 really changed the way I looked at air guns. I personally like a metal spring as well, and in some cases better, than a gas piston. I like the open sights on the 125 and do not find it at all too difficult to cock. I love the look and feel of the stock, the suppressor does it's job (I have other Hatsan ultra mags to compare it with) I love the power, and I love the weaver rail which we are told are not standard but I have weaver rings on all of my Hatsan break barrels and under levers. The accuracy in my .22 cal 125 is also amazing to me for such a powerful springer.

    Things I would have changed:

Not very much. I always change out a bundled scope so I can not complain too much there. The scope that comes with it is adequate for beginners and actually holds up pretty well on springers. (I put the Optima that comes in the package on another cheaper springer of mine about two years ago). The gun is what it is, so there is no reason to down it for it's excessive weight. If it were lighter, it would be much more hold sensitive. If it were easier to cock, it would have less power. I honestly believe the gun is worth every penny. The sling works well, but I never use it. The only thing I can really say is that Hatsan calls their trigger adjustable, and while that is technically true, it is as good as you can get it right out of the box unless you go buy a longer trigger adjustment screw. What I'm saying is that you can not make it lighter with what comes on the gun.

    What others should know:

First off, BE CAREFUL if you decide to use a longer trigger screw. I have made some of mine match grade, but it is very easy to screw up so only go 1/4 turn at a time. DO NOT try to get it too light !! I now own 7 ultra mag Hatsans (3-155's, 2-135's,and 2-125's) and none of them came from the factory over 27.5 FPE. They are called 30 foot pound guns, but in my experience they are solid 27 foot pound guns. I have "tuned" five of mine up to 30 FPE or just over that, so it can be done with no noticeable change in accuracy or shot cycle. The guns are made solid, and can handle it. I also recommend this rifle in .22 or .25 cal. I recommend using two piece Weaver rings because they will always fit, and some guns have slightly different spacing between the indentions where the bolts run horizontally through the rail. If you take a scope and rings off of one Hatsan and try to put it on another Hatsan, you may have to loosen rings from scope and adjust slightly.

    Things I liked:

It's quiet. The trigger is consistent and pretty light. Power is great with little recoil. Super value. Take it if you have the chance.

    Things I would have changed:

The stock seems a bit on the cheap side. The cocking mechanism is still grinding away. I thought it would be don't by now. It is a bit heavy and maybe it is just the location of the center of gravity.(?)

    What others should know:

I have the.22 cal with the spring piston. It hits the target with a smack. I was surprised. I have backed off using it for hunt pests in the farmyard out buildings as I have punched holes in things I'd never admit to. I use a lesser gun or have been more selective on my targets. It is easily my most powerful & heaviest gun. It is heavy. But on top of that, it is the location of the CG. B/c the stock is feather light (almost feels cheap/ hollow?), the steel portion is 90+% of the weight and it is centered fairly far from the shoulder. To shoot well, I have to rest the rifle on something. The gun is so quiet! I have no idea where all the sound goes. I can hear a click of the trigger and the "hammer" and that is it...clicks. I can hear the air move, but it is not the lions share of the sound like it is on so many other guns I have. I have had for ~4 years now and it has been a good gun. I would buy again for another if that was something they would enjoy.

    Things I liked:

    - did not purchase from PA I must first admit I purchased this rifle in 25 cal (refurbished) from a dealer in Arizona. I like the camo, looks, feel, and power.

    Things I would have changed:

The spring piston of this rifle creates massive recoil. My rifle came with a certificate stating rifle was checked within Hatsan specs and chrony ten shots at 764fps. I put on a Mantis 3x9x40 and this scope was destroyed after about 30 shots. Would not hold zero.. So now using the fiber optic sights the recoil moves the elevation wheel after each shot. The recoil then broke the front fiber optic rod. I had a bulk rod stick and replaced it. After finally finding a pellet this rifle liked (Air Arms Diablo) the front sling bolt thru the forestock sheared in half rendering the rifle in usable for safety reasons.

    What others should know:

All airgunners beware.....refurbished rifles may seem like good values but they are someone else's problem gun returned for some reason. I contacted the dealer and Hatsan USA warranty service to see if someone could send me another bolt assembly so I can use my rifle. It was very hard hitting and accurate with AA pellet. I learned a valuable lesson....all my future purchases will by from Pyramyd Air and will be "new" items! From Joseph in Ohio

    Things I liked:

Highly accurate, very powerful, great ironsights, super sturdy frame, comfortable shoulder pad, highly functional supresser/muzzle brake, awesome stock trigger, safe and efficient auto safety mechanism; just an absolutely epic quality for price. I'd like to add that the gun is no where near as hard to load as people make it seem. Its a matter of technique frankly.

    Things I would have changed:

Bipod is completely useless except for display purposes- should either not come with the gun at all, or at least be built in such a way that it can provide accuracy rather than ruin it. Also, it's dissappointing that such an exceptionally made weapon comes with such a garbage scope. The gun should be sold for another $100 or so and come with- if nothing else- a scope that is made to withstand the intense forward/backward kick.

    What others should know:

Don't bother mounting the scope that comes with the gun. After only a couple hundred shots, mine had a spun reticle, paint chip flaked off an stuck to the inside of a lense, and off center/chipped scope rings. The zero would generally hold for only a few shots at first, but when I began using the glow iron sights, I found the gun to be incredibly accurate. In fact, I took this rifle with iron sights to a cook out where several of my friends brought scoped .25 PCP rifles, and really expensive break barrels, and honest to God this rifle was outshooting all of them at 75ish yards. I bought a UTG 4-12 mil dot 40mm with one piece high scope rings and assure you- this is an amazing rifle. To do any better would basically require a PCP rifle and frankly, it doesn't make sense to lug an oxygen tank or pump through the woods... Heck, you can buy a real gun and walk away with a ton of rounds for the price of a pro grade PCP air gun. I 100% recommend to anyone strong enough to shoulder fire it

Dead on accurate out to 50 yds.

    Things I would have changed:

    Weight, Cheap stand, Cocking effort.

    What others should know:

A very powerful springer indeed. I have the .22 caliber. The weight and cocking effort make up for the accuracy and power this gun delivers. Can't say much about the scope, I ordered a better UTG 4-16.40, which makes the original scope seem like it belongs on a nerf gun. The included sling is decent, but I opted for a camo sling instead. Much more attractive. Forget the bi pod unless you only use it for display. I have to say, after putting a couple of hundred round through the gun to start breaking it in... I then worked on sighting the scope. I started at 25 yds.. and became annoyed since I only hit one bullseye in 5 shots once I felt the gun was zeroed in. I soon came to the conclusion that the scope jarred and had shifted. I couldn't tell where the other 4 pellets were going. I finally walked over to the target and realized they all were going through the original hole. At 50 yds, I had very little drop and was still hitting center. Unbelievable accuracy. Very pleased

Use alot of effort/muscle to break that barrel wow and I am a bodybuilder! It gets better after 10 breaks but im pretty sure it will get a bit easier more after a few rounds. Accuracy locked after 10 shots. Stand is useless. could have use that to spent on the trigger instead...not that im complaining

The feel, the power, the smooth shooting, the accuracy, the power, did I mention the power? Oh yeah, and it looks like it would kick your ass! How cool is a sniper rifle? Love the adjustable cheek rest. Great idea. And the German steel. And the rubber butt when you set it down its smooth and you know it's not gonna get damaged when you set it in the corner to go check your target. And when you're hunting the strap is so useful.

    Things I would have changed:

The scope, it's not terrible but I prefer a mil dot scope. I may change the coil after I read about a cool new replacement mechanism. Forget what it was called. I'm sure Google knows...

    Things I would have changed:

I changed the shoulder strap I did not like the orange lettering and it looked cheap. I also changed the scope to a more powerful one.

    What others should know:

The gun came to me with a broken ( split) rifle butt ( about 2 inches long) .i didn’t like that but I don’t want to take the time to ship it back and then wait for it to come back to me again .. also the camo sticker is not really quality in some places the design is folded over itself (bunched up)and in other places the camo is missing and just the white plastic shows thru.

    Things I would have changed:

Plastic Bipod is awful. Scope that came with it is ordinary. I should have bought the rifle by itself and saved me some pellet money.

    Things I liked:

The Hatsan Model 125 Sniper is built very well. The accuracy of this gun is nothing short of amazing. Shooting at a metal coffee can at 100 yards, the pellet passes through both sides and keeps going! Extremely powerful, very well crafted, stock is very sturdy, nice and tight barrel lockup as well. Trigger is very nice as well, you will not need an aftermarket trigger for this. I was a little hesitant to order the Hatsan, but I am extremely glad I did. You will not be disappointed in this rifle. Pyramyd Air packaged the gun well and shipped fast. The SAS anti-recoil system works very well and it does not kick nearly as hard as some will have you believe. It is very tough to cock, but that would be expected from this kind of power. I would purchase another Hatsan product witn 0 reservations. I am a very particular person and critical of my items. I am very satisfied with this purchase. The spring has almost 0 twang and you will definitely hit what you aim at.

    Things I would have changed:

The scope is nothing short of atrocious. I have set the scope and it is accurate and holds zero well. The clarity is not great though. I will be replacing the scope with a UTG (Leapers) or Centerpoint. The Bi-Pod is more for show than use. It isn't that bad, but you probably won't be using this in the field. I would like to see better packaging from Hatsan. The box the gun came in is very minimal, but well packed.

    What others should know:

This is by far, an adult air rifle. I would estimate that it takes about 60 pounds of force to cock it. If you are looking for the most powerful spring air rifle made, look no further. This is also the most accurate spring gun I have personally ever had the pleasure to shoot. You can have it all, accuracy, power, and quality in the Hatsan Model 125 Sniper! Don't hesitate to buy the Hatsan over any other brand. The quality is there, for sure. Thanks Pyramyd!

The quality of the this rifle is excellent. The stock is well thought out. The rubber inserts at the grip points are very good. The recoil pad is perfect and the overall quality of the stock is top notch. The rifle itself is well made with good fit and finish. The trigger which is very important when is comes to accuracy is and is easily adjusted. Accuracy is good and is right there with my RWS 360 P 22 cal.

    Things I would have changed:

Ditch the scope. You will need to improve on the optics. I put a Hawke 4x12x40 on mine.

    What others should know:

This rifle has some recoil but you will do fine using the artillery hold. I'd not hesitate to shoot small game out to 75 yards. I don't recommend light weight pellets. Watch the Pyramyd Air video that gives a good honest review on the rifle.

I maybe accustomed to lighter pcp rifles but this thing feels considerably heavier. Not much of a problem for myself but for my wife it's a bit much. I'm 5"10 and 195 lbs.

    What others should know:

Honestly, I love this gun. It is my go to basic varmint eliminator, day or night, at least until I get my NV Scope for my Air Force Condor and shroud.. Anyhow, I dispatched near a dozen rats in the first week of owning this rifle. On a scale of 1-10 on the loudness of it I'd put it in the vicinity of a 3.5. I live in an urban area and I shoot this gun in my backyard without drawing too much attention. I certainly try to use trees as a backstop when in doubt because this gun does pack a punch. Nothing I've hit yet has lived to talk about it to their buddies.
