Things I liked:I bought this pistol as a way to practice at home using a silent pellet trap when weather or time does not allow me to get to the range to shoot smallbore target disciplines. This is a very accurate pistol and for the price is a great bang for your buck. Being a pump which is extremely easy for an adult means only pellets are required for hours of practice. This pistol is way more accurate than I could ever shoot freehand. It is also very quiet in my opinion. Very adjustable trigger but for me is fine straight out the box. It appears to be well made and comes with a spare set of seals, alternate sights, brass cleaning rod, pin punch and multi screwdriver. This pistol has to be the best value out there as an entry level match air pistol.
Things I would have changed:I cant think of anything as yet, although the manual is pretty basic and does not explain in detail the sight and trigger adjustment to name a couple, but a quick google search on the www will get all that info at your fingertips.
What others should know:The grip is not real comfortable but has more than plenty of beef to get a dremmel onto it to scalp to fit your hand or there are after market grips available for righties and lefties but they would probably require dremmel work anyway. If silhouete is your thing scope mounts and a scope can be added.

Things I liked:Love it, it's well worth the money.
Things I would have changed:What is wrong in putting left grips on this fine pistol ?
What others should know:Try shooting this pistol left handed and it's hell.

      Things I liked:Very accurate!
Things I would have changed:As a new air gunner. The directions were very limited as to how to operate the dry fire function and need to be improved.
What others should know:The left hand gun is not properly represented! It has left hand grips, but the trigger is canted for a right handed shooter. Pyramid Air was more than happy to sell a $30 after market trigger for left handed shooters

Things I liked:Easy to cock, single stroke, accurate!
Things I would have changed:Not much, maybe optional pre-formed grips?
What others should know:At 30 feet with a scope and bench rested, this pistol is a single hole tack driver. The iron sight is fine, but the accuracy of the pistol can only be realized with a good scope. This is a good choice for target practice because the pistol cannot possibly be blamed!

Things I liked:Accuracy, single pump, quiet, solid construction
Things I would have changed:Optional grips
What others should know:I was specifically looking for a non PCP pistol. A single pump pistol can be used anywhere, any time. There is no need to worry about pressure running low. Furthermore, the velocity of pellets stays consistent because there is no pressure drop. Single pump is a feature to me! It is true that the IZH 46M is a little front heavy. Compared to PCP match pistols, the 46M is about a pound heavier. The extra weight is also mostly to the front because of the single pump level. I hope I can get used to this aspect of the pistol. Regarding the pistol handle, it is designed to be customized. A rotary tool and a wood grinder can customize the handle pretty quickly. Just watch out for saw dust. I taped the rest of the pistol before working on the handle. After two sessions of grinding and testing, the handle is now custom fit to my hand comfortably. The accuracy of this pistol is impressive considering the price and the fact that this is a pistol. For longer range targets, the JSR Exact Heavy is a good choice. The muzzle velocity is merely 420fps due to the heavy pellet. However, the accuracy is the combination is impressive. While the 46M may be designed as a 10M match pistol, it has the potential to be more. Adding a scope and stock extension can probably turn it into a short carbine for longer range targets. Pellet drop can be compensated with a good scope with mil dots, as long as the drop is consistent. This consistency can be expected from the 46M and JSB Exact Heavy.

Things I liked:Great looking classic gun. functions perfectly shoots great if you do your part, and take the time to find out what pellet it likes. Many adjustsment with this gun, trigger was great right out of the box. You will need to do some custom fitting of the grips, but that is why the are so big so that you can. Simplicity is perfection with this gun, take care of it and it should last you a lifetime as with all russian guns.
Things I would have changed:Pell gun oil should be provided with this gun. it is a must and is not something you can pick up from a local store for most peaple.

Things I liked:This gun is close to the high end FWB and Walther air pistols but for 30% of the price. I use RWS match pellets and it is very accurate.
      Things I would have changed:Nothing!
What others should know:First expect that you have to do some work on the grip. I used a dremel and sandpaper and I am now very happy. Second, you will need a LONG gun case. I use a four gun Plano case.

Things I liked:Everything! This gun shoots amazing right out of the box. I also like the fact that it can be dry-fired without harming the gun. I also purchased the scope mount as my eyesight requires the use of optics. It fit perfectly and makes the gun a pleasure to shoot. I only hope my shooting skills can catch up to to accuracy of my "Izzy".
Things I would have changed:Perhaps an easier way to load the pellets.
What others should know:This is my first pellet pistol and, I must say, I made a great decision by spending a little more right off the bat, rather than buying a lesser gun and then having to upgrade later. Do yourself a favor and buy this gun!

Things I liked:The first time I saw a picture of this great gun, I knew I had to own one. Visually, it is one of my favorite guns. From a practical perspective however, I was anxious to do some 10 meter target work and there is nothing else available in this price range. The closest price-wise would be the Alpa PCP pistol at about $200 more, but then one must have all of the ancillary equipment needed to support a PCP gun. Having said that, I might buy an Alfa also! From there the prices are 3 and 4 times more than the Izzy. The grip is rather large and was obviously made to be customized by the user, but alas, I have no talent with a Dremel so I must live with the grip as it exists. The back of the had rest sort of digs into my hand making it a bit sore after extended use. I love the pull of the trigger - it's perfect for me. The gun is extremely accurate and I was quickly able to sight it in for tiny groups.
Things I would have changed:Offering the grip in a couple of sizes - one that would fit someone that has a glove size of M rather than just L. I wish they would have supplied even an inexpensive case with the gun, or Pyramyd had one available as a package deal. At 17" total length, I'm having a difficult time find a case that is large enough to accommodate the gun, but not too large.
What others should know:Just buy it if you are looking for a 10 meter pistol. At this price, you can't go wrong.

Things I liked:professional look. good balance. ease of cocking.
Things I would have changed:grip is for a very large person
What others should know:this is a serious gun with a very light trigger, be careful!
