Things I liked:the gun shoots as fast as claimed so use heavy pellets. It is on par with my rws 34 in accuracy great for small game dove quail etc, pest control Things I would have changed:trigger has a lot of play in it What others should know:I told my son inlaw and his bother to get the rm600,s base on what i was told about mendoza by a person who used a mendoza in 22 for rat control they did not want to spent the money for an rws like mine a model 34 177 and 350 in 22 so i ordered the guns when they came we shot them and we shot my guns and i think they got a sweet deal my next airgun will be a RM 600 they like heavy pellets like rws superdomes and supermag,s.After you use the gun wipe it with a rag lightly oiled we found they get rust on the quickly faster than my rws guns do.

Things I liked:It's a well made .22 rifle for the under $200. Very easy to cock. Medium weight and balance makes it easy to stand and hold aim. Not quite as powerful as I'd hoped, but that is comparing it to the Walthers Hunter Falcon .22, a gun that seriously kicks butt (steel can butt...4-5. The RM600 went through 2 1/2- 3. I hear the power will go up after break-in period and I believe it. Things I would have changed:N A D T What others should know:Very nice rifle, should last years. If you are going to scope it and want higher power, get the Walthers Hunter Falcon. The scope on the WHF is of a quality that would bring the price of the rifle down to under $200. The WHF is a heavier, harder to cock. But it also has a synthetic stock & trigger&guard in case you're a wood/metal kind of guy/girl. The "plastic" doesn't bother me at all! Pyramyd Air is there for all your questions and problems and I'm impressed with their service!

Things I would have changed:I know there is only so much you can do at this price point, but the twanging spring gets on my nerves.
What others should know:This is only my second air rifle, my first was a Air Venturi Bronco. Based on my experience with the Bronco (made by Mendoza) I decided to up the power level with the RM-600. I had read that the "artillery hold" was mandatory for higher powered springers so this is what I used. Using a variety of weights and shapes of pellets I was getting discouraged. By now my Bronco was doing dime sized groups at 20 yds. The best I could do with the RM-600 was 3" at 20 yds not including at least 1 flier in every 5 shots.. I finally tried some Crossman Prem. Magnum Ultras (10.5 gr) and my group size was cut in half, still with an occasional flier.. I figured that this was as good as it would get. As a last resort I abandoned the artillery hold and just held it like my bolt action .223. Wow, instantly groups dropped to about an inch with very few fliers. I guess the lesson is keep at it and you will find the right combination of hold and pellet. I have about 750 shots through the RM-600 and it keeps getting better and more consistent. Also the Leapers 3-9X32 Golden Image scope is awesome and is holding zero perfectly.
