    Things I liked:

This rifle is just amazing. I bought a refurb from PA and can't see any evidence of why it might have been returned. Saved some money and got a perfect rifle. The trigger is better out of the box than my Rekord trigger HW's and the shot cycle is free of any twang or buzz. The woodwork and metalwork is typical Air Arms, which is to say perfection. Shooting HFT style with a bucket and sticks, I was just able to put 20 shots inside the white center of a Gamo target at 25 meters.

    Things I would have changed:

I am going to have this gun tuned down to just below 12 ft/lb for field target. I don't need to for accuracy or for smoothness of the shot cycle, but it should be a welcome relief for my shoulder and arm that I cock the gun with. It takes a mighty tug with the short HC cocking arm. I also have the very common issue where the safety will not engage about half the time. If you look online, you'll see it is an easy fix, but AA does need to sort that out.

    What others should know:

Get a good scope. I was concerned about accuracy until I tried another scope and that solved it. Do some arm and shoulder strengthening exercises and warm up your shoulders and arms before shooting or you'll be sat with an ice pack on your shoulder like I am as I type this. Know this, if you do your part, this gun has the kind of uncanny accuracy and consistency that I have previously only seen in PCP rifles. This rifle is a keeper!

    Things I liked:

This rifle is incredibly consistent. It took me months to "pull the trigger" on spending this much money on a target rifle (I ordered the walnut stock .22 version), but ultimately I was glad I did. I'm 48 years old and have always been in to target shooting. I've been through many rifles and this one is absolutely the best I've ever owned.

    Things I would have changed:

    nothing

    What others should know:

The under lever has a pretty stiff pull...I rest the gun butt on my shooting bench and use my body weight to help pull it to the load/charge position. Once you get the hang of it, it is not an issue.

    Things I liked:

I did my due diligence before buying a springer air gun and the Air Arms TX200 HC was my choice after reading all of the accolades on the accuracy of this rifle right out of the box. I picked the walnut stock because I really like a quality rifle to also look nice and the walnut version is a beauty. I mounted a Hawke Optics 4-12 x 40 AO 30/30 Duplex scope hoping that I could attain the accuracy that is claimed by owners of this rifle. Well, after sitting down and setting up a 25 yard set of targets I can say that this gun is phenomenal! I was grouping a majority of the shots within a cm of bullseye at that distance with many pellet through the hole results. I plan on sending the rifle off to be tuned as I would like to upgrade the rifle to get a smoother firing gun. The gun is smooth already but the meticulous tuning should make it my perfect target rifle. I am very pleased and Pyramyd Air made the transaction easy and pleasant. This rifle will make any target shooter happy.

    Things I liked:

I am very happy I decided to purchase this rifle. I took my time and did months of research before choosing the Air Arms Tx 200 HC. I've been a shooter for over 30 years, taught by my father with traditional rifles and air rifles in the late 70s and early 80s. I also spent 6 years in the Army so my experience level is probably a little above the average air gunner. I wanted to get serious about air guns so I can teach my son to shoot without going to a range. New laws seriously limit where and what you can shoot, and a quality air gun is a great option. So I purchased the tx hc in beech, and I'm glad I did. It is plenty beautiful and the same rifle as its walnut brother. I purchased a decent scope and upgraded mounts, this rifle is worthy of the best components. After owning the rifle for a couple months I could not be happier. It is tough to cock, but you get used to it. It is heavy, but the weight is necessary to absorb the shock and the solid feel is really nice.Nice accurate rifle!

    Things I would have changed:

If a pound could come off the rifle that would be nice. Cocking is tough after 30 minutes or so of shooting, and I workout 4 days a week with weights That's all though. I love this rifle and I probably will have it forever.

    What others should know:

In my opinion the Air Arms Tx 200 HC is about as good as it gets. I have the 22, and its a serious rifle that exceeds my expectations. The minute you hold it you realize its the top springer out there. I considered a Walther, and I may still buy one at some point, but I'm proud to own this beautiful and extremely well engineered rifle.

    Things I liked:

Absolutely beautiful gun. Shoulders nicely. Great trigger.

    Things I would have changed:

Probably wouldn't change anything on the design but there are some minor details that just aren't right. (1). Rubber plug on the bottom side of the barrel is supposed to protect the barrel from the cocking arm when you put the arm back into the up position. Mine fell off within 50 shots. Will not go back in the hole. Very cheap piece of rubber that really doesn't fit properly. (2.) Tiny screws that hold the cocking guard in place came out within 100 shots. The guard slid down the cocking arm and turned slightly. One of the tiny screws was sticking out and slightly nicked the bottom of the barrel. Made me sick (3).The whole cocking arm has a lot of "slop" meaning it has movement from side to side at the top of the cocking stroke and also at the bottom. Simply put the cocking arm rattles back and forth badly when it's not in the locked position. By the way this gun is less than a week old.

    What others should know:

I don't mean to be too critical of this gun. I've had it less than a week and It is certainly a nice gun and shoots very well. However, when you pay 729 for an air gun you would expect it to have been inspected very closely. I am comparing this gun to a friend of mines TX 200 that is about 10 years old. The new gun is prettier but the older gun is much much tighter. The older gun cocks much more smoothly. That may change in time once I have some more rounds through it. I would not say that I'm totally disappointed in this gun but I expected more from the cocking mechanism. It just does not feel right to me and I cannot believe it has that much slop in it. I will say that dealing with PA has been a good experience so far. I ordered a BKL 1 piece mount that just flat will not work with any scope that the turret has any bottom on it. Rings are too low. Had to send back and order some taller rings. They were easy to work with. Will this gun stand the test of time? I really don't know

    Things I liked:

Outstanding accuracy. I've put a can of the Superpoint Extra (250), and half a box (250) of the Crosman Competition pellets through it since my purchase (2014). Once I found a scope mount with two anchor screws, it's been balls on accurate. Not a word from the neighbors about noise when cleaning up varmints (up to 50 lbs.). I haven't shot it without a dead rest very many times - it is quite heavy. Small game from the truck window at 50 yards without hearing protection (yep). The size fits well in a hard sided AR case. I love the no hassle nature of the spring loader/underlever. Ammo can be found on the cheap. It's a beautiful rifle. I'll be shooting this much more than almost any other rifle that I own.

    Things I would have changed:

The only thing that I would change would be a lower price :) However, this really is first class. I did change the stock lever grip for a brass model. I'd change the local laws about suppressors if all that they fit were airguns.

    What others should know:

I reserved a star on Overall and Value because I've only owned it for 6 months. It was an "investment" when compared to what I thought previously about pellet guns. If it lasts, and continues to shoot as well as it has from the box, I'll have no problem awarding another star.

Beautiful stock. Screams of quality through and through. Extremely accurate. Once you fire it a few times, you know where your money went.

    Things I would have changed:

Make sure that you pull the charging handle all the way back until the safety pin engages. If there is tension in the charging lever, you did not properly charge the rifle.

    What others should know:

Work on your left arm strength to support the rifle in an unrest firing position.

    Accuracy, beautiful stock, Mirrored bluing.

    Things I would have changed:

Quality control needs addressed, My 1st tx200 shot very slow and just got worse as I shot it and was very buzzy. Velocity was in the 500s after 500 pellets. Returned it and the second gun shot a little slow but wasnt as bad. Found the breech did not fully close. Decided to keep it and a shim in the cocking shoe fixed the breech issue. Now the gun shoots up right at 700 with H&N FTT. After 2 weeks some of the bluing has already rubbed of. Bluing may look deep but its really thin just polished real well. Should of stuck to my weihrauchs.

    What others should know:

If you buy this gun check it out to make sure you get a good one air arms QC is not what it used to be.

    Things I liked:

Was better then expected. Nice trigger, balanced well, better then Prosport. Sounded and functioned "tuned" out of the box.

    Things I would have changed:

Too loud for backyard use, cocking a bit too much effort, but nowhere near the beast the Prosport is. More then a HW97K though.

    What others should know:

I returned it and decided to go for the full-length TX200 because it should be quieter with the new baffled shroud, and easier to cock with the longer lever. I'm hoping it will be more accurate too, with a 13.25" barrel vs the 9.5" on the carbine. Downside is more barrel heavy, and longer length, but no gun is perfect. Still, FWIW, no gun has ever shot as accurately out of the box as my HW97KT, but they are kind of clunky and have known mechanical issues. Also FWIW, I was at the airgun Silhouette National Championship, all but 2 springers were full-length TX200's. Brits love this carbine, and I probably would too since theirs are limited to 11 foot pounds, making it easier to cock and quieter.

    Things I liked:

The stock is beautiful, in fact it can compete with the best out there as far as fit and finish goes. The bluing is to die for and again, it can be compared to guns that cost thousands. The accuracy is undeniable, right out of the box it was grouping the first string of pellets without any effort. The laser cut, fish scale checkering is the most creative I've seen in a long time. This little carbine has perfect balance and I think the weight of these TX200's help with recoil which results in better accuracy. This is a fantastic little rifle. I can see what the fuss is all about, each one is a mechanical masterpiece. These TX's are worth every penny spent, in fact I think they're under-priced and are a bargain compared to what is out there. You get waaaay more gun for your money with one of these. Oh yeah, one more thing I almost forgot.....the trigger is phenomenal. It ranks up there with the best of the best.

    Things I would have changed:

    Absolutely NOTHING.

    What others should know:

This gun is heavy, the carbine version will save you on some weight with the Walnut stock. The MkIII is a boat anchor, this little shorty would shave about a pound off the total weight when used with a light, high end scope. The Leupold Ultralight EFR's are a perfect match for these guns, they have superb glass and come in at a svelte 11oz. Or throw a target scope on one of these and you get a long range, sniping machine. Also, don't skimp on the mounts, get yourself some really nice mounts to keep your bling in place ;D

Really..? Is there anything that is just not wonderfully perfect on this work-of-art.! It's just as much fun to look at as it is to shoot. The fit and finish is breath taking.

    Things I would have changed:

It should come with a pair sun glasses as the deep blue finsh and perfect fitting stock can almost blind you if you "drool" over it to long...LOL

    What others should know:

I have had so many air guns in the past. I was the guy always looking for "good" guns that went on sale or seemed like a good deal. I kept buying them and selling them because there was always something that I didn't like or I just grew bored with them. At least I did get very good at fixing and improving most springers with custom and stock parts. All those "sale" guns I bought had me build a spring compressor to use for every reason that you can think of. I finally recieved this gun and realized that I would never go "cheap" again. This springer is so perfect that it's almost like there is nothing else to look forward to...!!LOL except shooting it. Just buy it, you will keep it forever, as will I

I bought a "preowned" rifle, which was $80 discount. It is in perfect conditon. The metalwork, and bluing on this rifle is stunning. This is a serious high quality piece. Smooth shooter, accurate, great trigger. This one will definitely draw a crowd at the firearms range. Most powderburner guys think a Gamo is the pinnacle of airguns.

    Things I would have changed:

    Nothing.

    What others should know:

Lighter than the fullsized TX. Also a little harder to cock, with the shorte lever, but no problem, easier than an RWS 48. It's very easy, even convenient, to hold the lever firmly with your off hand when loading the rifle. That's the safe way to load a springer, even one with a beartrap, which this one has.

    Things I liked:

Accurate - good balance - quiet LOP is 13 1/2" which is perfect for me Best trigger I have used. Easy to take apart and you don't need a spring compressor. I got the Walnut Stock version used from Pyramid for about $470.00 and it is a very beautiful gun. A springer with the accuracy of a PCP.

    Things I would have changed:

Sell a version with adjustable cheek piece. Drop the power a bit on the FAC version to increase accuracy and make it a bit easier to cock. Use less greese especially on the spring. Its a precision pellet gun, not a wheel bearing.

    What others should know:

This is a serious air gun for target shooting out to 55 yards or so. It is to heavy to make a good hunting rifle and too hard to cock for a good back yard plinker. This gun is built for field target and Hunting field target. You will need to do your research to get the right scope for the type of shooting you want to do. I did have a problem with a pellet falling out into the breach. It got badly mangled and pieces of it got stuck under the compression tube. I had to take it apart but fixing was not that difficult. This can happen easily with loose fitting pellets. I purchased this one over the MKIII because it is better balanced, about the same as the Pro Sport at a lower cost. This one is suppose to be louder then the MKIII but it is no louder then the sound of the pellets hitting the backstop. As others have stated this rifle is very physically demanding and will give you a work out.
