    Things I liked:

Great gun, excellent deal with the scope package. Hawke Airmax is best pellet rifle scope I've used. 10 shot groups of 1" @ 50 yds with a variety of pellets are common.

    Things I would have changed:

Ventilated recoil pad belongs on a .30-06 or 12 gauge, look ridiculous on a pellet gun. And no white line to match the grip cap??

    What others should know:

As delivered trigger was unnecessarily light at only 1 lb, but it does pass the drop test.

    Things I liked:

Don't tell my wife . . . We've been married for 51 years now and I think I've fallen in love again . . . but this time with my new Air Arms TX200. I love stroking it's beautiful walnut wood. The linseed oil and wax makes her shine. She's quiet, but watch out . . . she snaps pretty hard when she's cocked, but not too hard. Just don't get your finger caught in her breach like I did. Ouch, but that hurt! The bruising is almost gone now and I've learned not to stick my fingers where they don't belong. This girl is meant to be treated with care and I'm looking forward to a long, long relationship.

    Things I would have changed:

It's a bit difficult to look for change in perfection although I might look for change in the location of the beartrap release. I find its current location to be a bit awkward, but I suppose that I'll get used to it.

    What others should know:

The deep shine of the bluing and the beauty the walnut wood is incredible on this gun. I love my other rifles, but this one is for me to keep and pass along to my sons and grandsons. I've put a Hawke Airmax SF 30 3-16 x 50 AO scope on this TX200 and I've go it zeroed in at 50 yards so far. I can't pound tacks just yet, but I'll get there. Actually, my wife doesn't mind my having an affair with an air rifle, it gets me out of the house.

    Things I liked:

Yah, yeah, yeah, ...what everybody else just said. This is the best springer out there. The TX200 is peerless when it comes to quality. Normally we think of Germany being the world leaders for high quality guns, but the TX200's quality exceeds all my high end German air guns, hands down. The trigger is amazing right out of the box, and I am very hard to please in this area. Most agree the price is too high, but to put this into perspective, I paid a lot more (close to $1,k) for my Beeman R1 .177 back in the early Eighties, and it does not compare in any way to the TX200. It is definitely worth the money to right people, fortunately I am one of them! I want to add that really like the walnut stock, to me it is worth the extra money. After all, if I'm going to buy a Rolls Royce I'm not going to settle for the cheap options, I'm going for the deluxe model! This air rifle is as much a work of art as it is a match-grade shooter. If you don't care about the finish and stock, get an HK97.

    Things I would have changed:

There is only one complaint with this otherwise perfect air rifle: The small rubber bumper for protecting the cocking handle from contacting the barrel is a very poor design, that was very poorly executed. The very first time I cocked the rifle, my fingernail caught it and pulled it half way out. I could not get it to seat again regardless of how hard I tried to reinstall it. I finally pulled it out completely (quite effortless) to see what was wrong. When the bumper is new it has a small rubber shaft on the end that is threaded into a threaded small hole in the bottom of the barrel. But installing it deforms the stem and it cannot be re-threaded back into the hole once it is even partially removed. To remedy this I threaded a small set-screw into the barrel hole to plug it, and installed two O-rings into the two groves at the end of the cocking handle (like the Walther LGU). This is a great working solution and looks better than a small rubber bumper seemingly stuck into the barrel.

    What others should know:

The TX200 does not seem to be hold-sensitive, it always hits the mark whether I use my palm artillery hold, or a sand bag rest, or a rubber yoke on a shooting stick. It doesn't care, it just puts the pellet on the mark every time. How refreshing! I can literally point and shoot. The down side of this is it will make me lazy when I shoot my my other springers! I have already figured out how I will deal with this issue. I'll sell all my other springers. Problem solved! The walnut stock (by Minelli) comes with a flat oil finish which is just beautiful. However I wanted a bit more depth to show off the figure in the grain, so I treated it with high quality furniture oil. What a difference that made. With a little effort I was able to obtain a gorgeous hand-rubbed oil finish that is timeless and stunning. This is a keepsake and an heirloom, and to me it's bargain for the price. My wife however in as convinced as I am! Maybe in time she will come around. If not there's the divorce option.

    Things I would have changed:

INSTEAD of having only one , I have two. One of each caliber

    Things I liked:

Mine was .177 The fit and finish is unparalleled. The walnut stock was fairly decent, but not as good as many I have seen. The firing cycle was a bit harsh but not twangy, as its basically factory tuned. Unfortunately, mine was powerful, but not accurate and I had to return it. Accuracy issue are unusual for this model.

    Things I would have changed:

The rubber bump stop that prevents the cocking handle from striking the barrel fell out a couple times just with normal handling. Im pretty careful with this sort of thing, but I guarantee it will be lost. Analogy is you buy a Rolls Royce of Airguns and they put in a 12 month battery.

    What others should know:

By extra bump stops and/or prints to protect barrel from the cocking arm. I reordered the TX200 Hunter Carbine and Im hopeful this rifle will live up to its reputation.

    Things I liked:

This is a beautiful, solidly built air rifle, and I couldn't be happier with it and the buying experience at PyramydAir! The TX200 is the Cadillac of air rifles. Right now I'm working through a variety of pellet brands and sizes to determine which group the best with this rifle, but with the better quality pellets I'm already seeing excellent results.

    Things I liked:

I am impressed with the accuracy of this rifle, mine is .177 and it shoots smooth as silk. The trigger is better than my 97K which is a close second. For some reason the TX feels lighter, maybe a little less nose heavy than my 97. I'm shooting at 25 yards and I've already found several pellets that shoot well, H&N's seem to be the ticket with one ragged hole. I will be using this gun for pest control.

    Things I would have changed:

    Would not change anything

    What others should know:

This gun is worth the money

    Things I liked:

I bought the TX200 as a birthday present to myself. Sometimes I feel wrong when I do things like that, but not this time. I own a CZ200 so I had some expectations about the TX. 1st the walnut stock is beautiful and worth the extra $$ IMO. 2nd the accuracy is what I'd expected, maybe more from AA. 3rd compared to my CZ this is a "full size" rifle. It reminded me of surrendering my M14 issue for a M16 but in reverse. I still miss the M14!! Once I had my routine ironed out it's not hard to shoot very small groups with this rifle. 10 shot groups the size of a pencil eraser are very pleasing!!

    Things I would have changed:

As I said above it's a full size rifle. I wrecked both of my shoulders in a motorcycle wreck so It took a little bit adjust to cocking the new TX compared to the CZ PCP. The two things I'd change would be to lighten it some YMMV and for me loading the .177 pellets is a chore? I've looked at that 12 gauge size breech and tried to figure how it might be made easier to load. Maybe it can't, after 28 years I think AA would have figured it out, but drop a pellet into that chasm and there goes any decent timed shot string??

    What others should know:

If you have the opportunity to go and handle a TX200 before buying it I would encourage you to do so. I own a number of heavier "bull barrel" rifles, but I wasn't expecting a pellet rifle in that weight class?

    Things I liked:

Accuracy, looks, easy to cock, and trigger.

    Things I would have changed:

Price and scrap the outdated scope mounting slots for a picatinny rail. A gun this expensive should be updated on a regular basis.

    What others should know:

Using 8.4 lead pellets will bring the velocity down to 800 to 850 fps. Accuracy is about the same as the Walther LGU . If that is mainly what you are after, go for the Walther. If you need looks and want to impress people, get the TX. You get what you pay for. I have both and the Walther can outshoot the TX most of the time. The Walther is a very accurate tool, the TX is an accurate and attractive tool. The TX is expensive the Walther less so. PS skip the walnut stock, I got it for mine and it's not worth it, IMHO.

    Not a thing.

Everything. The most powerful pellet was the super H point 755 FPS.The most accurate was the JSB Exact jumbo 13.43 @ 680fps.I did not try AA or JSB 16gr.I tried many pellets and she was accurate with all them. The blueing is the darkest l have ever seen. Its a true thing of beauty.l have put over 1200 pellets down the barrel If your on the fence, treat yourself. You will not be disappointed.

    Things I would have changed:

That little piece of rubber that protects the cocking arm needs to go.

    What others should know:

Make sure you get quality scope mounts or take a chance of removing some beautiful blueingI was in such a rush to get shooting ,l took a one piece mount off another rifle,It was the wrong type of stop pin.Any other rifle such a tiny amount of blueing would be no big deal.

The accuracy right out of the box is amazing. I just got a 177 cal in today and mounted my 4 x 12 Nikon on it and it's a walnut busting machine already and not even started to be broke in.

    Things I would have changed:

    Nothing

    What others should know:

I guess its heavy, I really don't notice but I have been shooting a RWS 52 for quite a while and it feels heavier to me or maybe the TX 200 is just better balanced. Mine is Walnut and a beautiful gun it is.

    Things I liked:

Overall the rifle is a working piece of art. This is the Rollex of .22 cal spring rifles. Everything works beautifully in tune. Accuracy for me was best with (H&N Sport Field Target .22 cal, 14.66gr. / JSB Match Diabolo Exact Jumbo Diabolo 13.43gr. / Crossman Premier Hollow Point 14.3gr.) I replaced the factory parts with the Vortek PG3 SHO-Tune Kit, which reduced the shot recoil and vibration drastically. The cocking and firing is very smooth and in tune.

    Things I would have changed:

Nothing really but, I would like the trigger weight screw access reachable through the trigger guard vs being neccessary to remove the trigger guard to reach it.

    What others should know:

Talley 11mm high split rings work wonderfully, and hold true to the receiver. The Nikon P-223 3 x 32mm Matte BDC Carbine scope is a very nice companion for this rifle.
