The airgun is amazing! Couldn't have asked for better! I thought for such a cheap price it would jam easily or just have a lot of other malfunctions, but man was I wrong not a single problem after a few days of use I love it!

I love this air pistol, It's really fun to shoot! The trigger pull is perfect in simi auto. I love the feel and weight in my hand. It's well balanced and stays on target in full auto. Infact excellent grouping foe a full auto air pistol. I love this air pistol!

First time firing on full auto and the barrel broke. Other than that the 009 was fun in semi auto and it's externally rugged. I will get it fixed and leave a proper review

Yesterday (April 1, 2021) I purchased this .177 CO2 Air Pistol from my local hunting store. I brought it home, read the instructions, loaded it with a Crosman 12g CO2 cartridge and using the included steel BB's. I have fired 6 magazines worth of BB's (Tried included BB's as well as Crosman Copperheads) through it and used 3 12g CO2 cartridges. Realism (weight, look and feel) - accurate replica, thank you for your efforts Functionality - everything seems to work as advertised, single fire, multiple fire, blowback, trigger safety, slide lock on empty and manual activation, manual safety after pistol cocked. Accuracy - On the horizontal (windage) - perfect (right where it should be subject to accuracy of a pistol firing BB's) Accuracy - On the vertical (elevation) - consistently 2 inches low at 7 feet (otherwise, right where it should be subject to accuracy of a pistol firing BB's) Instructions Provided - Very thorough safety, maintenance, operation wise

009 is the best BANG for your buck. I got it today ,. Didn't even have to track it. Shipping was fast and product is as real as they come . I own 3 of there products and I am am very pleased.

It's a pretty fun little gun I bought two of them and I like how easy it is to field strip

Its basically a full auto Umarex Glock 17(Gen 4)!!! Even is able to use Umarex Glock 17 magazines!!! Much more efficient!!! Liked the packaging. It was like opening up a real firearm with the little box it comes in. Much better than blister packs that do absolutely nothing to protect contents!!!

That the magazine that came with it actually worked. Let the Barra 009 customers get a free Umarex Glock 17(Gen 4) magazine, so gun will fire correctly out of the box. Took off one star for faulty magazine!

An exact blend of Umarex Beretta 92fs full auto, and the Umarex Glock 17. Recommend stocking up on Glock 17(Gen 4) magazines since work much better than stock Barra mag that it comes with

I liked the realistic look, feel, and function of this gun. It looks very similar to the official Glock designs. It feels lighter weight (as it should) than, for instance, the Beretta 92A1 full auto; and it feels comfortable and smooth in action while shooting. The slide locks back when the magazine is empty, which is especially helpful in the full auto mode.

1) Improve efficiency in the CO2 use. I know blowback guns are not very efficient with the CO2. But this one seemed exceptionally inefficient: I never got more than two full magazines at full-power. The shot-speed rapidly declined in the first half of the third magazine regardless of temperature conditions or of the firing mode. My Beretta gets 4 and 5 magazines out of one CO2 cartridge before any power drop off. 2) Improve the accuracy in two ways: a) get the non-adjustable sights to be at least in the ballpark: the unit I had required a major POA adjustment that rendered the sights essentially non-functional; b) strengthen the consistency of the actual shot-mechanism: even at 15 feet and using a laser dot sight, the BBs never grouped with this gun (unlike what I could achieve with other smooth bore semi auto guns at the same and greater distances)

I tried to like this gun. But I ultimately sent it back for a refund.

The weight of this air gun is really accurate. The grip feels good in your hand. Love the full auto fun switch! When you rack the slide it feels realistic it's real smooth. The Barra is real similar to the Glock 17 gen 4 co2 pistol, the magazines are the same except for the base pad on the Glock 17 gen 4 says Glock! You can use either magazine in both guns. The Barra 009 is actually a replica of the Glock 18c which is only for military, police and federal officials. This is a very accurate co2 air gun at 20 feet. You can field strip the Barra making it easy to clean and oil. It also has a nice finish on the slide. I've shot a few different BB's out of this gun and the best one's I have found to be the most accurate are the Hornady Black Diamonds. The worst would have to be the Dust Devil BB's I think it's because of the way their made (just my opinion)! The Smart Shot BB's from Excite are also a good one just not as accurate as the Hornady. This is a great co2 gun I recommend buying.

The only thing that I would change on this air gun is the nut on the bottom of the magazine that holds the co2 in. Once you learn the alignment on it the the nut screws down really easy. It is very tedious to get the threads to start like I said until you learn the right alignment.

The Barra 009 is a well made gun that comes with a 1 year warranty. I think this air gun will last for a long time. You can't help but like the fun switch on it also, it fits like a glove in a service holster. This gun doesn't have a rattle or any loose parts on it like some I've had, it's a tight gun. I know if you purchase this one you won't regret it. I definitely recommend buying it. Pyramid Air has the Barra 009 at a very reasonable price. This is one to add to your collection.

I am thoroughly impressed with the 009. The ergonomics, simplicity, quality, ruggedness, thumb rest on the sides of the frame, field strip, and ofc select fire. All pros Absolutely love the front serrations. I shoot it everyday. I noticed it shot low otb. And with the other reviews on YT... the same. -Anyway, nothing a laser can't fix. -Also, if I can inquire about an extended magazine with additional ammo capacity or a drum (even better). That would also set you apart from the rest like magpul has. -As well, a threaded barrel ? -Can I swap the slide release with a stock extended Glock side release ? -And can I utilize any of the hop up bases out there ? I'm going to get another 009 soon. Keep yo the great inovation. No 1 has a select fire Gmodel .177 quite like the 009. I've been waiting 35 years. Thank you BARRA team. And a response to my questions would be admirable. And if you have any questions for me that would be great too.

The sites are not accurate. It shoots low fr only 25 feet

Very nice heftand feel just out of the box. Looks very similar to Glock gen 3and 4. When pulling the slide back one of the first things I noticed was the spring assembly was much more reactive than any of my Glock gen 3 and 4. That when visual similarities stopped. The Barra was slightly heavier than the Glock. The beaver tail extends further back into your grip, protection from accidentally catching the skin between your thumb and hand. I liked this cause it was an issue with my Glock gen 3 and 4. Actually causing me pinch of that area once with my Glock 19X. Shoots very similar as the Glock , but the recoil was what ai would say a decent bit stronger than the Glock. I especially liked the magazine was made in one solid drop out style. For me this was a huge improvement over the Glock which has it drop out made with two metals with the firing head portion some sort of die-cast metal. Which over time has broken where the two metals join. Barra has a much better design.

Not much at all except maybe would have liked to see is priced about $20-30 cheaper, but with the few upgrades they made to their magazine , stronger spring assembly in the slide which gives greater snap and recoil n comparison to a very similar Glock. I would change nothing. I wish my Glocks operated like my New Barra.

It is a very similar looking gun to the Glock gen 3 and 4 but thats where similarities stopped. The Barra had not 1 issue I have ever had with my Glock co2's. I believe it roughly $20-30 more than any Glock ...oh yeah besides being a better design in all the short falls of the Glock line.....it also will empty a magazine in under 3 seconds. Glock doesn't even make a full auto. Its a great all around competitor to Glock and in my opinion has not one of the major issues you'll run into with your co2 Glock. Better gun better material, and non of the flaws. Barra is a must have piece to add to your collection. Oh I read somewhere someone in their review listed the full auto as "unnecessary " everyone would say its always necessary and a whole heap of fun. Skip the Glocks go with the Barra you will definitely be happier as you shredd targets in about 3 seconds....now that screams fun!!!

General grip and feel as Glock Gen 5 with no finger grooves but not exact. Trigger similar to Glock. I got this as least costly way to practice. I had Glock 17 Gen 4 and this handles similar. I like the bottom of the mag better because I don't have to remove the bottom plate. The Glock mag and these are interchangeable

no need for full auto. curved backstrap like Glock

It is not very accurate but I never expected it to be, however, for practicing rapid fire, multiple targets as in competition, it allows you to keep your grip and sight picture acquisition in daily practice for pennies at home. I find that I do keep a group that while never "tight" is good enough for me to know I am shooting properly given the "accuracy" of this gun. Going to the range has shown improvement with the 9mm. It is said dry fire is important in practice. I say that this is one step above because of the recoil and the ability to see results on target
