    Things I liked:

Ordered the . 25 cal Marauder for pigeon abatement and paid the extra $25 to have the bolt reversed for a lefty. A week later I received a .22 cal Marauder set up for a lefty. Sent it back. I had a suspicion that they would forget to reverse the bolt, so I sent them an email reminding Pyramid to do so-- did not receive a reply. Sure enough yesterday the .25 cal arrived w/o the bolt reversed. The customer service person I talked to had no idea what I was talking about. I asked for a supervisor or someone who knew about guns -- request ignored. Again I was told by the rep that she had no idea what I was talking about, again I asked for a supervisor and again ignored. Finally the rep looked at the order and told me that left hand set up in the original order (wrong gun) was given to me complimentary -- like why did that even matter? I explained that no, I had indeed paid the $25 for the service which she finally conceded. The whole conversation was so disturbing that I decided rather than

    Things I would have changed:

send the 2nd gun back , I would just cancel the whole order. ( a decision I regret b/c I really want the gun according to the specs I ordered and paid for. ) For some reason I expected a degree of empathy and accountability from the customer service rep, but the big picture is that there seems to be a whole lot of not paying attention going on at Pyramid.

    Things I liked:

Super accurate, relatively light trigger pull, magazine with 10 rounds. See my comments below about three PCPs in the Benjamin line, All three Benjamin's have their advantages and disadvantages and are worth considering. If you can afford the Marauder, however, it is well worth stretching your budget. It is a great rifle.

    Things I would have changed:

I wish it were lighter but realize it must be heavily built to contain the high air pressure. Unfortunately, I expect the heavy weight is a compromise that must be accepted for the benefits of this great gun.

    What others should know:

Pyramyd Air was kind enough to allow me to trade up at fair price increments as I moved up the Benjamin PCP line. I started with a Benjamin Wildfire. On the plus side: easy to pump up, a semi-automatic 10 shot and surprisingly low price. It was a lot of fun for plinking but the trigger pull was so hard in order to make it semi-automatic that after a week I exchanged it because I could not shoot it accurately. The second Benjamin, a Discovery, was accurate with good trigger pull and a hand pump that could get to the required 2000 lbs. but was single shot and very difficult to load under a scope. So a few days later I moved up to a third Benjamin, the Marauder, a wonderful rifle with a relatively light trigger, highly accurate and easy to use its 10-shot magazine by cocking after each shot. The only disadvantage compare to the first two is the price, particularly considering an air tank must be purchase to get the pressure to the higher required level.

    Things I liked:

Accuracy, Accuracy, Accuracy! Extremely well made gun, Fit and finish are superb! The gun is extremely easy to connect for charging.

    Things I would have changed:

i would change to a different style magazine similar to AA 510. Spring tension was too weak to advance pellet. Took it apart and advanced spring and all is well. The cocking mechanism is awkward and not very smooth compared to the lever action of an AA. There is no way to easily adjust shooting pressure/pellet velocity. Reduce the weight! A very heavy gun if you carry into the field

    Things I liked:

I have owned this gun with a hawk Sidewinder scope on it for about 6 months and around 500 rounds. It is super accurate. I did buy a pump to fill it with which in my case was a big mistake. Using a pump to go from 2000 to 3000 pounds is a real pain!! I used my pump once and the next day I ordered air Venturis biggest tank which is really cool if you have a scuba shop available or a compressor. My advice to people getting into PCP guns is to forget about the hand pump.

    Things I would have changed:

Not a thing this is a super fun gun to shoot and boy is it accurate

pretty much everything, great looks and performance, I love the feel of the wood stock.

    Things I would have changed:

add a regulator to increase shot count and accuracy

    What others should know:

My 25 cal. is a bit more accurate than my 22 cal. They are both pretty good. I really like the quietness of these rifles. My Gauntlet 22 cal. is quite a bit louder. I have posted pics of the first 3 targets I shot with my 25 cal. The first 10 shots went thru the same hole at 10 meters. (offset left because I had not yet adjusted the scope after mounting it.) I was shooting crono strings and was rushing a bit. Better pellets and a better shooter will get better results. My friend shoots 65 yard groups with his modified 22 cal. Marauder (aftermarket barrel) that is the same size as my 10 shot group in my first target.

    Things I liked:

    Good Accuracy.

    Things I would have changed:

The finish on the air cylinder is awful ! Sent my original cylinder back due to a patchy finish. They sent me one with a worse finish. When I told Crossman customer service about it , they said that's normal. I waa told the stock will hide the bad finish. Apparently they need to change their finish application process. Because of this, I will not buy another Crossman product. Save up and buy an FX.

    What others should know:

If you don't mind a poor finish on tge metal of your gun, it's not a bad hunting rifle.

    Things I liked:

This was my first PCP air rifle. I purchased it, because I am 70 years old with a painful condition. Breaking my Diana 34P is too much work. Both rifles are .22. The Marauder is very accurate with virtually no recoil, and it is very quiet. Also, I do not have to think about artillery or other holds. The rifle has a 3-9x42 UTG scope on it. I know it costs more than springers, but it is worth the money. I also have two ten-shot magazines and the single-shot tray. I bought the Hill pump with moisture filter.

    Things I would have changed:

I do not know of any at this time, as it is my first PCP.

    What others should know:

It has a very good trigger. It was a very satisfying purchase. If you take it to the range, you will shortly have others watching you.

    Things I liked:

I prefer the wood stock for the feel and weight. If I was hiking and carrying for hours...go with the plastic stock. My gun is totally stock and I will leave it that way. Trigger is very nice and not worth adjusting with little creep, 2lb break, and tiny over travel. Lots of power, as mine shoots in the high 800fps with 14.3 gr pellets over 800psi drop and is very very quiet. Optimum accuracy is 2900-2100psi and getting 40 shots across the PSI drop. Accuracy will maintain at lower PSI, but the POI and Ft Lbs Energy starts to drop noticeably. Best 50yd accuracy is with Crossman Premier 14.3 domed and .6" 5 shot groups are the norm and it shoots several pellets under .75". Just grab them out of the tin load them and shoot....if I shot sorted/measured pellets and spent more testing...no question it would shoot under .5" at 50yds. I don't see a need to spend any more money for what I do with a pellet gun.

    Things I would have changed:

Nothing...I knew what I was buying....lots of information all over the internet...so no surprises.

    What others should know:

I should have bought one years ago instead of two springers. I bought this for shooting Vermin at longer ranges (50 to +100 yards) because the .177 springers were just not accurate enough to consistently hit birds past 30yds or powerful enough to quickly kill rabbits . It kills cotton tail rabbits with body/lung shots easily out to 40yds so far. Pigeon, Eurasion Doves, Starlings etc. explode into a feather cloud at 50-60yds. Buy a 4500psi tank fill system for it. I can not even imagine pumping this thing up to shoot it frequently . I was able to accuracy test five different pellets over 1200psi range in a couple hours. Not possible having to try to pump this thing. If you shoot quite a bit...AIR TANK or even two depending on your ability to get them filled! For what I use a pellet gun for I don't see where I would ever need to spend more money. This gun is doing every thing I possibly could want to get rid of pests, and I would not hesitate to body/lung shoot a raccoon.

    Things I liked:

This is my first PCP (25 cal), couldn't be happier. Extremely accurate, head shots on squirrels the norm(40 yards). Just hard to believe getting this from an airgun. Very pleased!

    Things I would have changed:

The clip doesn't go in or out easily. Once in place it works fine.

    What others should know:

Mine likes 2000-2500 psi. I'm using a hand pump, it works well. I give it 50 pumps after two clips(16 rounds).

    Things I liked:

the accuracy on this rifle is outstanding. Powerful too. I found it to be a comfortable gun to hold.

    Things I would have changed:

The clip is trash. At least mine is. Every shot jams up when I go to cock it. I use it as a single shot and load each shot individually. Kind of a drag, but it works.

    What others should know:

Not a bad gun. Not a great gun either. Will get the job done in the field. Not difficult to pump either.

    Things I liked:

Once received gun the stock was broken in shipping contacted crosman and they sent gun stock replacement less than a week and once replaced stock. Sighted gun in an it just drills the center. Filling gun from 3000 psi shooting to 1000 psi 80 shots no change in sights. All stock no modification stock crosman hollow point 14.3 grain 3/8 inch groups at 35 yards. And this is not the new field & stream version. Groups 1/2 inch at 65 yards. Using only nitrogen to fill gun. Its really fun to shoot.

    Things I would have changed:

I have only one thing I would change it should always have single shot tray with gun an 10 round magazine with gun. Standard

    What others should know:

Nitrogen tank is the best route to go. No chance of water damage to seals and to gun.

    Things I liked:

    great accuracy, pretty quiet.

    Things I would have changed:

With a scope on it this is a heavy rifle. Maybe more aluminum where steel is not needed. Maybe a redesigned 12 to 15 shot magazine.

    What others should know:

I find that my rifle shoots best at 2100-1950 psi. At least that is the way that I sighted it in and it shoots true in that range. If I fill to above 2200 psi I miss my target. I have not done patterning at various fill pressures to see the effect of pressure vs accuracy. I'm very pleased with the .22 cal JSB Match Exact Jumbo Diabolo pellets shoot in this rifle; always one shot, one kill.

    Things I liked:

This Rifle has nice weight to it; however this might be a gift and a curse though. This Rifle is very accurate. Mine is currently sighted in @ 35 yards and I have 1.5 inch groups... and my son and I aren't accomplished air gunners. Auto indexing magazine... i was used to loading pellets one at a time....thank goodness that is no more. Crosman has excellent customer service.... Pyramid also has excellent customer service.

    Things I would have changed:

Maybe the weight...though the weight is consistent with a well made rifle I find it rather difficult to hold this rifle free hand. I would probably make the magazine a 10 rounder instead of the 8 rounds.

    What others should know:

This gun is deadly accurate. I have my marauder sighted in @ 35 yards and have no trouble hitting whatever I desire. I currently get about 16 shots on a fill and i have no mods installed although I'm looking to install the HDD shortly. I am currently hand pumping this rifle and it takes well over 150 pumps for the first fill.... all other fills from 2000psi to 3000psi take about 100 or slightly more.

    Things I liked:

Please forgive my 5 star review if you have not had the same experience as I have had with this rifle. I must have gotten a good one. This is my first PCP. I own .22's in HW90, Walther Terrus, and a Gamo Whisper and HW50 in .177. All are very accurate. This purchase was made in .22 with a UTG Hunter 3-9 scope as recommended by Jason. Follow the instructions and you will be up and shooting in no time. I was very surprised at how very quiet and accurate this rifle is. My brother and I were punching out the bulls eye at 10 meters after sighting in within 5 shots using JSB match Jumbos 18.13 at 2700 psi. The clips work well with the bolt action. You can actually load single pellets if you want to. We both love this rifle. Longer range testing is required. I took advantage of the 20 percent discount sale and saved a bundle. This thing looks like my 12 gauge (without scope). I also bought the Benjamin sling as the mounting screws were in. For the price, I cannot complain about anything.

    Things I would have changed:

This rifle is new with about 50 shots through it. I cannot think of anything to change at this time. I shall update if needed. Question: Why would anyone review the rifle if they have not even fired one shot?

    What others should know:

I agree with Mr. Stephens' review regarding 1000 fps. This gun is no where near it. My HW90 is more powerful and more accurately rated. I was hesitant in purchasing a Crosman/Benjamin product. This rifle and the 1322 pistol I customized with a 14 inch barrel and steel breach have changed my attitude. My rifle came with approx. 1000 psi in the chamber. Considerable pumping is required to break the 2000 psi level considering my 62 year old arse. Once this is achieved, the pressures go up quickly. I refill after 20 shots to 2600-2700 psi with no problems. The Benjamin pump used to fill it has not had any problems as of yet and the aforementioned scope is flawless. Kudos to Jason and the PA team for an excellent recommendation and customer service.

Very Accurate, quieter than a spring piston, nice weight, quality rifle.

    Things I would have changed:

The magazine is a bit difficult to figure out initially but after a quick you-tube search, this problem is cleared up rather quickly.

    What others should know:

Certified Thumper! I've shot .177 and .22 cal and I must say that this .25 caliber Marauder thumps it's target. I have shot rabbit and other similar sized game/pest and if the shot placement wasn't exact, they would require a second shot... not with this rifle. one shot and your done. There is no recoil with this particular PCP... I love it!!!

    Rating 4.04.0 4.0

    Rating 5.05.0 5.0

    Things I liked:

Relatively simple to get up and shooting. The accuracy is great, with only the occasional flyer; and the number of shots available per fill as set at the factory is very good at about 40. The adjustable comb is very nice to be able to get a good cheek weld with virtually any scope.

    Things I would have changed:

The manometer on the underside of the forearm needs to be a bit bigger. The effort in cocking the bolt is a little excessive and has given me difficulty in cycling the magazine on numerous occasions. My main gripe resulting in the "3" overall is the lack of muzzle velocity from the factory relative to the claim of "up to 1000 fps". Yes, you might achieve 1000 fps with a lot of tinkering, but my chronograph suggests only about 840 fps average for the first 2-3 magazinesa as the gun comes "out of the box".

    What others should know:

This is not a light airgun, and purchasers should heed the stated weight. That being said, the build quality is very good.

I can't rate as of now because I haven't shot it yet. The fit and finish is very good, the bolt will not retract all the way back to load a pellet much less insert the magazine, Why?

    Things I liked:

22 cal. Ordered mine on late December 2016 so have had now for 2 + months. Build quality was good. Stock is plain but finished well for what it is. Adjustable cheek rest is plus/must, good overall. Gun is heavy but solid construction. I got mine with the CR 4-16X 40mm scope, pretty good.

    Things I would have changed:

The Barrel. Many have said same here on the reviews. 22 cal only shot well/ok with 5.53 21 grain H&N Baracudas. Just a little more QC on the barrel and it would be a 4 plus star gun. Shoots terrible with Crosman pellets which is a surprise, Crosman gun you know. JSBs were better but not good.

    What others should know:

I changed my barrel out for the Marmot Militia barrel, Now very accurate with JSB 18s and 15.9 grain pellets. Happy with that :)

    Things I would have changed:

Maybe a little quieter. It's still pretty quiet.

    What others should know:

I replaced the Crosspoint scope with the Hawke Sidewinder. This combination is unbelievable. It makes my Marauder a dead eye airgun. I am extremely impressed with this airgun. My decision to buy this model was influenced by Ted Biers (?) Ted's holdover. Glad I did. Now on to slaughtering sparrows, pigeons and maybe a turkey or two. The spring in the magazine sometimes will pop out the hole. No big deal. There is a repair video on You tube.
