    Things I liked:

I bought the new 22cal maraduer it is just as great as the wood stock version i own already very accurete, quit and a blast to hunt with

    Things I would have changed:

    Nothing

    What others should know:

Read the reviews on the maraduer series guns and compare them to all other guns all the way up to $1000. And the maraduer wins in accurucy vallue and qaulity.

    Things I liked:

I had the old .25 and loved it and so did my dad so I gave him that one just so I could buy this one. I was thinking that it would be just like the old one only with a synthetic stock. I was wrong....big time! This thing is awesome! Right away the stock looks good, feels good, and its pretty rugged. I dont worry as I did with the old one to lay it down somewhere for fear of scratching the wooden stock. I took a look at the baffles and was pleasantly surprised to find that they changed the design to more of a much better conical airstripper design. Honestly this is exactly how I wanted to mod my old ones baffles. Its like they took this thought outta my head. The bolt handle looks nice a beefy. Accurate as heck. The depinger is nice even though that didn't bother me on the old one even with the issues people said they had with consistency. All else worked flawlessly

    Things I would have changed:

they should have taken a little more time to remove the excess flashing from the stock. I also wish the bolt was like the old flow through design.

    What others should know:

It is awesome. Buy it!!! The factory settings on the trigger kinda suck. I like my trigger to have a long first stage and my second stage to be super short and crisp. It is just more predictable and accurate that way (at least to me anways).

AWESOME! this gun is dead on accurate and has great power right down to just under 1000 psi. light weight and extremely quiet and deadly stopping power. got 4 squirrels on the first fill while I was getting the scope sighted in.

    Things I would have changed:

    nothing I can think of

    Things I liked:

I purchased the .22 version as my first pcp and am very pleased overall with this rifle. It is very powerful, super quiet, and very accurate. I do not have a chrony, so I have not touched the factory settings. After over 500 shots through it, I have found I get the best accuracy with a 2600 psi fill and 15 accurate shots after that. I have only tried 2 different pellets, but I am getting quarter size groups at 30 yards. I believe It can get better with a different pellet and by slowing it down a touch. After 5 shots, there is a huge hole in my 3/4" plywood stop. This thing has tons of power. The stock is nice and I love the adjustable comb, but it doesn't have the detail of a high end stock. I'm not complaining about it at all because the rifle itself is a huge value for what you get for the money. The trigger pull is fantastic and the bolt pull was a little hard for the first 50 or so shots but then it broke in to a nice easy pull. I have not had any problems with the magazines jamming or double loading. This rifle in summary just works and I love it.

    Things I would have changed:

I would have liked to know before I purchased it that the bolt is recommended to be swapped to the left side by a pro. Pyramyd Air will do it for you, but I did not know this when I bought the gun. I am a lefty and would love it to be swapped. Crosman does not have the parts breakdown for this rifle yet. As soon as they do, I'll try it myself.

    What others should know:

If you are a lefty, have pyramyd air swap the bolt for you. Without a chrony, don't expect to shoot 3000 psi and be accurate. I suspect the pellet is traveling too fast at that fill pressure. Expect 15 very accurate shots from 2600 psi to 2000 psi. With that being said, this rifle is well worth the money and is an absolute joy every time I fire it.

    Things I liked:

I love this rifle. No kickback, quite, accurate.

    Things I would have changed:

I have to really pull on the bolt to load a pellet.

    What others should know:

Accurate out of the box. Haven't decided what pellet to use yet. Doesn't seem to make that much difference. The bolt is hard to pull back far enough to load next pellet. Using factory settings.

    Things I liked:

Great trigger for a sporting rifle. My sample was awful out of the box but it is easy to adjust, just don't expect it to compare to a match trigger. The new stock is an improvement over the old wood version,(I have a wood .22 also) its .8 pounds lighter, the adjustable comb is great, but the new pistol grip is the best improvement for me. The new bolt design is also an improvement. My older .22, the bolt often has to be held to the rear to load or extract a magazine. My new purchase is a .177 and its quieter then the older .22 I can't say if that is a result of new baffle set up or different caliber but it's very quiet. Everything else I like are all the great features that make Marauders Marauders

    Things I would have changed:

As improved as the new stock is, addition of an adjustable butt assembly would make it even better. Make it of the same material as the Challenger stock and add an accessory rail also. A Lothar Walther barrel and above stock mods and this would be a serious field target rifle out of the box. The compressed gas cylinder is 1 inch longer on the new gun so why not extend it all the way so the fill port cover is flush with the barrel shroud for even more shots between refills?

    What others should know:

Exceptional value for the money. My best accuracy results have come from using JSB 8.44's, half inch 10 shot groups at 30 yards and is usually repeatable. .177 or .22 is a tough choice with the .177 being more cost effective and the .22 being superior for pest control. Because it's such a fun gun to shoot it's easy to talk yourself onto buying both.

    Things I liked:

This gun is so accurate, I thought I was missing my smaller than a dime size center at 20yds. It was hole in a hole. I have not touched the factory settings. I am getting the 16 shots out of this one and its holding center at 20yds. Waiting on a crony. It has the power! Shot a tree rat 30yds. It sounded like a fire cracker going off in compressed hands!I have an original 22 and this time went with the SS 25 cal. Its alot easier to hold. Not nearly as heavy and does not feel like your aiming with a heavy plank when you shoot. No toy sounding ping when you fire. This gun is backyard friendly. But when the JSB Exact King 25.39gr connects,,That's a different story. It SMACKS!!!

    Things I would have changed:

Would love to get more shots. But I am satisfied with 16 for now. I might tweak it after I get a crony. But I have not had a reason to for now. :)

    What others should know:

On the SS 25 Cal, I had to return two. The first one had a bad check valve. It zeroed in two shots but on second fill would not hold air. I sent it back and got number two. This one had a bent barrel. It shot a foot and half high at 20yds. Sent it back and got my third. This one is perfect. I believe gun two was damaged in shipping. The box was pretty banged up. Pyramid Air took great care of my returns and kept me informed of progress. Great service! I was told check valves have been a problem with the Mrod. But I have had no problems with my 22 cal and this 25 is bad to the bone so far.

    Things I liked:

Quiet, accurate, lots of power. I have heard the bolt is gritty, mine is not. I like the trigger, seems light and short to me, but I'm not an expert air gunner. I like not having to worry about scratching a nice wood stock.

    Things I would have changed:

I wouldn't change much, maybe shave another pound somehow.

    What others should know:

Ok, all the reviews on the old wood Marauder were raving about the "GREEN MOUNTAIN" barrels. Do the new syn-rods still use the high quality barrel. I'm not sure. It is not printed in the owners manual, nor on the crosman web site. I want someone to answer this PLEASE.

    Things I liked:

I bought this in .25 cal. I liked the fact it is very accurate and very quiet. It has not been fussy about what I feed it but shoots the JSB Exact Kings the best, 1/2" at 75 yards and the Benjamin Domes 5/8ths" at that same distance. I like the adjustable comb and the trigger once adjusted is very very nice. Great gun overall!

    Things I would have changed:

I would like to see a bit better quality control. My guns gauge was 500 psi. off and I had to replace it. Crosman was great and I called them and they had me a new one to my door in 3 days. I also would like to see them go with a better bolt design, something smoother along the lines of an FX with the lever type loading. Also I believe Crosman/Benjamin should supply the gun with two magizines and make them both metal. I have had no problems with mine yet after around 600 shots but from what I hear a lot of people are having problems. The last thing would be a bigger air cylinder to provide a larger shot string. I am getting about 16-20 accurate shots from 2900 to 2000 psi. than accuracy and velocity really start to suffer. This after tuning to at least the best of my ability. I would love to see a nice consistent string of at least 30 shots. There are not many things to change on this gun and even at that it is still a great value for the money!

    What others should know:

This is a great gun and once you find thew sweet spot, where your gun shoots best(pressure wise) mine is an absolute tack driver. I have taken several crows anywhere from 50-110 yards. Do yourself a favor and buy a quality high power scope to go with the gun. I say no less than 4x12 power and 4x16 or higher would be better. I would say to save yourself some money on experimenting with pellets, try the JSBs and the Benjamin Domes first. Neither are a great hunting pellet for larger game, hogs, coyotes etc. but anything smalller they get the job done nicely. Last but definitely not least is get the 10 for 10 from PA, it is well worth the money, this will insure no leaks. They did not catch the bad gauge on mine but it was a simple fix. I would highly recommend this gun. I still gave this gun 5 stars across the board as Crosman was great in their customer service and PA as always are great to deal with as well!! Shawn

    Things I liked:

Very impressive little rifle, love the adjustable cheek pad. Two stage trigger is fantastic. So quiet!! Can shot 30rds consistently when filled to 3ksi. for not having a regulator. Accurate at 50yds is comparable to my .22lr rifle. Using Crosman round dome/pointed/hollow point 14.3grain. I ran it at factory tune/settings and will leave it there.

    Things I would have changed:

Safety could be in a different location outside the trigger guard, but does work very well. Foregrip is too big not very ergonomical. Would like a larger air tank. Bolt action could be smoother, easier and more constant in pressure. Sometimes you cock it and it isn't completely cocked so the pellet is loaded but the hammer isn't cocked and if you go and cock it again you'll double load your chamber. What you need to do when this happens is take out the magazine before slidig the bolt back as to not double load your camber.

    What others should know:

This is a big rifle. Best bang for the buck. Can't wait to take out some pest and go hunting with it. Crosman destroyer pellets are awful out of this rifle, 12+' groups @ 50yrds

    Things I liked:

have had a few pcps now. Some more pricey some less. The marauder has been my favorite. You cannot get as much gun for anywhere near the price. If you are thinking about getting one do it. I have all but got rid of my powder guns. I use my .25 marauder to hunt just about everything. Between the silenced nature of it to take multiple shots without scaring away your target, to the incredible accuracy. I literally take the eyes out of doves at 40 yards. Everytime. It's less about killing now, more about making that perfect shot.

    Things I would have changed:

Nothing. If it came with anything else it would only cost more. As it is it's perfect. Add a good scope, some air, pellets, and a bipod and have fun!

    What others should know:

This is the perfect pcp to get into the pcp gun game with. Guaranteed to exceed your expectations. Without leaving you wanting more. No buyers remorse. This thing will stay in my arsenal for years to come. I shoot it daily. Perfect for backyards. Very quiet.

    Things I liked:

After my disco was stolen in a home burglary, I decided to try the new marauder with the synthetic stock. I hoped it would be as accurate as many of the earlier marauders I've read about and watched on youtube. I was not disappointed. Am using JSB 18.1 gr and a utg leapers 4x16x44 swat scope with the wheel. I zeroed my gun at 20 yards and had it locked on in 4 shots. After the initial setup I did some shooting at my spinners and on paper for another 40 shots or so just to get a feel for how it handled. Today I was shooting paint balls off golf tees at 31 yards, and hit 7 for 7, better even than my disco could do. I love having the 10 shot magazine, and the adjustable comb riser. Had to use a bearclaw comb riser on the disco so my eye would be at the right height. Although I really like a nice wood stock, I felt the synthetic stock would hold up better against the elements, and the reduced weight is a definite plus.

    Things I would have changed:

Three things could use improvement as far as I am concerned. Even with the lightened package, the marauder is still a heavy gun by the time you add 24 ounces for the leapers scope. That was one thing I really appreciated about the disco. I wish there was a design improvement that would limit the possibility of double loading pellets. And lastly I'm not crazy about the way the barrel floats loosely inside the barrel band, I'd rather see the barrel secured so it can't get bumped around so easily.

    What others should know:

Not much else to say here, just find the pellet that works for your gun. I was lucky in that my gun liked the first pellet I tried, but I had done my homework first to narrow the choices. My thanks to those who did the pellet testing before me, made my job easier. I don't want to forget to mention the trigger, it was so good out of the box that I haven't touched the settings. Looked hard and long for a replacement spring for my disco trigger group before getting it set the way I wanted it. If your on the fence about buying one of these like I was, (due to the expense) just buy one, you won't regret it.

Nice overall Rifle. Looks, ergonomics and smoothness. Fits well. I like trigger. Accuracy. Also the low sound level. After shooting around 400 pellets (4 different Brands) the accuracy is not very good yet. Hard to get 1/2" at 25'. I expected better.

    Things I would have changed:

Use more accurate air gauge mine is off 500+psi.

    Things I liked:

accurate and well built generally, except could not sight (elevate) my UTG 16x44 scope, due to barrel droop...yes, we do not expect that from US built Ben, however, Pyramid air gave me no grief about it and is taking care of their customer (me)...meanwhile I have it sighted properly since I hit all the Air Gun Academy videos I could get my eyeballs on, and they teach you how to adjust for this (by elevating the back of the scope with just a few pieces of business card cut out); anyways, wanted to share what I had found out regarding the two top ammo: Diablo Jumbo Heavy 18 grain VS Beeman Kodiak extra heavy 21 grain; already with my M.Pistol previously and now the same experience with this M.Rifle; Kodiak with the edge, better groupings; so: 1. Kodiak 21grain shoots better with this gun. 2. Pyramid air is backing me up on this gun.

    Things I would have changed:

better quality control on this gun; especially after I paid extra $10 insurance for things to go right from the get go. They are NOT charging me $10 again, on the replacement, which is fair.

    What others should know:

This gun looks bad to the bone with the UTG 16X-44 scope and 80mm parallex wheel. don't forget to order two additional magazines for this gun; don't be disappointed if the gun does not shoot better than 3/4 of an inch groupings at 25 yards and it's son the M.Pistol 1.25 inches at 25 yards; don't mean to burst any bubbles but these numbers are realistic...sure many times on the first shot I will nail the numbers on the target the size of the pellet itself, however, there are flyers and every other shot will be slightly different; yes, sometimes the gun will shoot a bug no problem...quite frequently actually. Highly recommend this gun.

    Things I would have changed:

The clip for the ammo . The spring in the clip was very weak.

    What others should know:

Bulky stock and the weight for an air rifle is heavy , but anyway this MRod is a HEAVY HITTER and I like it . Unbelieveable

    Things I liked:

Overall I give this between a pretty cool and excellent. I sold my Marauder pistol in order to get the funds to upgrade to the M-ROD. The issue I described below is simply something which should not be. The weight and balance of the gun is excellent, as well as the ergonomics. The fore end of the stock fits comfortably in the palm of my hand. No recoil whatsoever. Trigger is excellent, and so it the accuracy. I use Crossman Premier hollow points which perform great.

    Things I would have changed:

Between the barrel band and the barrel itself, is an open space. The barrel can literally be moved around which is totally unacceptable for a $400 plus rifle.

Two months ago I bought a break barrel Umarex Octane .177 nice and accurate. Then it broke. Me and my wife fought over this purchase because she thought it was too expensive but she doesn't understand how I felt about it. But you know what ...it was worthed !!!! = ) Out of the box took me three bullet to zero . CPHP at 40 yards grouping like I never before. I had to hit something to confirm it was working because it was so quite. My cousin shot it and he was pissed off , he just got a benjamin trail xl and he can't group less the half inch at 40yard. Shoots good up to 40 round you can go for 50 if you compensate for the drop. I was using a center point 4-16 power cant wait for my leapers 8-32power only head shots from now on.

    Things I would have changed:

    Nothing its perfect.

    What others should know:

Stick to cheap pellets at first before moving up CPHP works fine. break it in for cheap then go for the expensive ones for 50 yards and beyond. The pump is good for now for exercise but for me its a must to get a 4500psi tank small and large for hunting in california. hey turkey get in my belly.
