Very realistic, great shooting experience

The colour.

I had to return the first pistol I ordered, but it was replaced promptly.

Quite surprised at the accuracy and realism. Excellent deal for the price.

Everything about this pistol I like. I fit a pair of hand-checkered Rosewood grips to it and this pistol looks fabulous. It shoots 330 fps with a new cylinder and about 3 reloads (48 good shots) per cylinder. The fit and finish is second to none.

It comes in a blister pack. I hate those things. A nice box like the Tangfolio Witness comes in would be much better. If you like your Tangfolio you're going to love this one. The magazines interchange. An ambidextrous safety would be nice. The white "warning" lettering is so small it does not bother me.

This is the finest bb pistol I have ever seen or owned. It is a must have for any collection.

Excellent fit and finish. Chrome barrel is a nice touch. Good clear sights. The skeletonized trigger and hammer are cool. Detail throughout is superb. You can load the magazine faster by pulling down the follower spring all the way and roll the bb's along the track to the notch that's created when the spring is held back. Bb's fall right in and roll up to the top of the magazine.

Umarex needs to ditch the plastic clamshell packaging and offer the pistol in a cardboard box.

Upon receiving my pistol, the magazine would not hold co2. After one call to Pyramid Air they sent me out a new gun once the defective one was sent back (postage paid by PA).

Absolutely everything!!!! As someone who is qualified on a real M1911 the Colt Commander is a great replica weapon that I really enjoy shooting. I purchased the Colt Special Combat first and should have read the reviews before that purchase. I'm much happier with the Commander and highly recommend it to fans of the real thing.

Umarex has done a very good job making this blowback version of the Colt 1911 pistol. I was a little disappointed by the WWII Commemorative due to some roughness in the internal workings. The internal workings of this Colt Commander however are very smooth and easy. I especially like the white dots on the sights that make the pistol easier to aim against a dark target. The accuracy is very good given the fixed sights. My 10 shot group sizes were on target and consistent in size for all of the BBs tested. After subtracting 1 or 2 flyers for each, the group sizes were 1 1/8" (Avanti), 1 1/4" (Cybergun), and 1 1/2" (Copperhead, Umarex, Firepower, and Marksman).

The BBs shot were Crosman Copperhead, Umarex, Daisy Avanti, Firepower Gold, Marksman, and Cybergun / Swiss Arms. Ten shot groups were shot from a bench rested position at a distance of 18 feet (about 5.5 meters). Total shot counts were 65 using Crosman CO2, 64 using Umarex CO2, and 61 using Swiss Arms (Firepower) CO2. The accessory magazine works just as well as the magazine delivered with the pistol. If you like the 1911 style pistol, you will really like this one. Get the Colt Commander for routine practice / plinking, and save the Colt WWII Commemorative and Colt NRA Limited Edition in mint condition as collector's items.

She's a beauty! I'm a 1911 fanatic and this model fills the bill. The feel, the weight, just like it's .45 cal. brother!

The only thing that I would change is the trigger, i.e., the paint (black)has scrapes on it; I would rather the trigger had been silver or unpainted.

If you're a 1911 nut like me, this model belongs in your collection.

I liked it so much I bought one for my son in law! He loves it.

The blowback, the feel, the detail, the white dots on both the front and rear sights, the drop out magazine, the ease of installing the BB's, using the allen wrench to install the CO2, the all metal,the working grip safety, and seeing the chrome barrel after the last shot is fired is great. A real bargin for the price.

Eliminate the plastic bubble pack and market it in a box. I have learned that the plastic bubble containers can be thoughtfully opened so that they can be saved and used for safe storage. If possible, more shots per CO2 cartridge and bit less blowback.

This is a great looking gun. I really like mine. Great trigger. Can be difficult to stop shooting.

Sturdy,all metal and balances well.realistic blowback for training at a fraction of the cost of "real steel".Accuracy is very good.

Beautiful fit and finish on the Colt Commander CO2 Pistol. Hefty weight. Realistic features, ie. blowback. White Dot sights. Skeletonized trigger is very attractive. Excellent trigger action. Slide locks back after last shot. Quality metal magazine.

I would change virtually nothing on this model. I would, however, really love to buy this same model Colt Commander in a Silver and Black finish. I also wish Pyramyd Air would offer aftermarket simulated Mother of Pearl grip panels. Those would be eye-catching!

I'm completely satisfied and happy with this purchase. This is definitely a high quality replica pistol. You can expect years of enjoyment from the Colt Commander Co2 Pistol. If this model were offered in Silver and Black, believe me, I would not hesitate to order another one from Pyramyd Air; thats how much I enjoy shooting this pistol. Thank you Pyramyd Air for selling this model. Very highly recommended.

it has great blowback and the silver barrel is a nice touch. by far this is my favorite semi auto co2 bb pistol and it doesn't even cost that much

I wish the umarex usa trade wasn't on the right side next to the colt trademark because my umarex bb glock and ar-15 replica's are plastic china toys compared to this nice pistol

everything on this 1911 is perfect

Really like this pistol. I took a chance purchasing this with out any available feed back. I wasn't sorry. All metal, all working parts, take down if you want to. Great weight to it. A nice solid pistol. Nice kick on blow back. Accuracy good. Full magazine. Chrome barrel, nice finish on the pistol.

Realism

grips

Beautiful gun once you install some nice wood grips

It's a all metal, field strips just like the real gun. It also shoots pretty hard and the blowback kicks nicely. It is fairly accurate at 15 yards.

It seams like a magazine loaded with co2 is a bit wide and I sometimes have trouble with it getting stuck. Remember to get some co2 as it uses quite a bit. I have only used one Co2 cartridge yet but that only got me a couple of mags worth of shooting. I did waste some co2 trying to de cock it though.

This is a great gun for any collection and for just 99 bucks it is a nice deal.
