This is a nice gun. It seems to naturally fit your hand and the sight picture comes in quick and is consistant... even when aiming at moving targets. The all-metal frame adds to it's realistic look and feel. Trigger pull is smooth and even... you always know when it's going to fire. I like the internal magazine and loading bb's with the squeeze loader is a breeze.

Wish the sights had white dots and/or at least the option to replace the molded in sights with adjustable ones. Make the grip fit a little tighter... it creeps when you put it in your hand and begin to squeeze off a shot. I wish this gun was available in an Airsoft version with drop-out mags, of course.

My pistol also shot a little high and to the left. However, the Crosman laser sight fits nicely (if you're into that). In my opinion, the price is right for this gun considering it's all metal. The FPS is up there. It'll tear up a soda can!

This pistol has the weight and feel to make it a great practice pistol. The velocity of this pistol is great for back yard plinking. Has good access to CO2 and bb resivoir. Is acurate as long as you do your part. Excellent airgun for the money.

I would make the bb supply clip fed

This is a great value for the price. I have a less expensive 15XT and a more expensive CP88. The 15XT shoots fine but is lightweight. The CP88 is a very nice pellet pistol but costs 3x the Colt Defender. This Colt Defender is my favorite of the three because it's metal construction gives it a good feel, it shoots pretty good, and it's price is good.

The grip could be a little more solid. I notice it move a little when I first pick it up, but not after it's in my hand.

The metal, the looks, the weight and feel of the pistol, the trigger pull and the accuracy, all good.

I would like some ot the other Colt pistols to be in this price range.

I've only fired it on two occasions so far but I'm getting 120 shots per CO2 cartridge and the gun is seriously accurate at 20 feet. I Chrony tested it today and got a twenty shot average of over 442 fps with a high of 455 fps. After shooting almost 250 shots I got used to the built-in magazine and was literally pouring the BBs in there in seconds. This is a super nice gun, my new favorite out of the twenty pistols that I own. I'm thinking about sending one to my brother for his birthday.

Awesome for the cost. I have several walthers and found that out of the box this pistol shot 1 inch high of center, and I was able to keep 150 shots in a 2 inch group after only a brief break in.

only complaint, occasionally it fails to feed bb's if firing to fast.best not to load more than 12-13 in magazine at a time.

I shoot a Star Bm9mm at the range. I compared this to the star and its size, shape, and balance are nearly the same. Even the weight difference is acceptable about 4 oz lighter. I shoot in my garage at 15 feet and keep my hand gun skills up by the use of this piece. It exactly meets my needs.

I'm a little clumsy in loading the BBs. The loading spring doesn't hold open as it does in some other models.

I believe the accuracy is excellent at 15 feet. I shoot 1/3 head size targets and double tap. I am able to keep 100% of first shot and 90% of the second on target. I find that acceptable for a BB gun. I tested the first 3 shots out of the weapon and grouped less than 1/2 inch at 15 feet.

This gun is heavy and has a great feel when holding/firing it.It is really accurate for bb gun and has great CO2 recovery in between shots.Personally I like this gun for plinking and I rank it up there with the C-11 its a very fun gun to use.

The only thing I would change is a drop out mag instead of a internal mag.

This is a great for all day plinking and having fun its definately a great value for the money.

One of the first things I always notice is the weightof the gun. The Colt Defender has the weight, feels very good in the hand. The look of the gun is awsome as well. Very good Craftsmanship, (ecspecally for an inexspensive model) So far I have been able to get about and half clips of ammo thru a single co2 cartridge. thats 16 x 6 almost 100 rounds before noticing any change in power. I'm not going to say it is the most accurate air gun I own, hey it's a bb pistol,(NOT PELLET) but it does alright just learn to compensate for the low or high aim.

the only thing I would have liked to have seen is this same model in a pellet version and also make rear sight ajustable thats about it.

For the money this is a very good gun. I would say buy it if your looking for quality in a cheaper gun and don't have alot to spend. BUY IT

First thing I noticed was the weight of the gun is nice.Feels good in the hand. very easy to load both co2 and bb's. Trigger is not too heavy and I am sure it will get better with time. The gun is all metal except for trigger and grips. The grip is a one peice grip which is spring loaded and slides back smoothly at the press of the release button. It holds co2 very well.

Too earley to tell if I would cahnge anything other than I wish they made it in a pellet firing gun. If you have large hands it is going to feel very small to you. I have small hands so it fits perfect.

Buy plenty BB's your have lots of fun shooting. 16 shots go pretty quick I would say buy it
