    Things I liked:

Good accuracy, I like the improved bolt, good power for an air pistol.

    Things I would have changed:

I don't mind the plastic parts too much, but it would be nice if the plastic was a little thicker. The trigger is a little stiff but not too bad.

    What others should know:

This is just my first impressions. I will give a more thorough review at a later time. This gun seems to me to shoot the tightest groups with Beeman coated hollow points.

    Things I liked:

Accurate, powerful, mostly metal, very good value for money, MODDERS DREAM!

    Things I would have changed:

I know the plastic grips helped keeping the cost down, but they give the gun a cheap feel and look when it deserves a lot better. At least change the color to black!

    What others should know:

Do yourself a favor and buy this gun. It shoots beautifully stock, and if you want to mod it, you have virtually no limit. For looks, get some nice wooden grips from rbgrips, and maybe the stock which helps with accuracy. For power and performance, get a steel breech, flat top piston with flat top valve, trigger job, and scope. These are just the very basics but dont worry if you dont have the money to mod, the stock 1377c is already very good. Mods are just for looks and those who crave lots of power.

    Things I liked:

Inexpensive platform with many custimization options. Relatively accurate, fun to shoot.

    Things I would have changed:

The plastic grips are really cheesy, I'll be replacing them with wood grips immediately.

    What others should know:

Fun and accurate. A fine little plinker with small investment.

The quality for the $$$ is very hard to beat. There is a reason it has been around so long & has survived!

    Things I would have changed:

Wood in place of the plastic grips would be nice.

    What others should know:

Just that endurance of this gun speaks for itself.

The power is great went through two boxes no prob. 3 pumps, The way it feels in your hand very balanced and super sturdy no shakey parts or flimsy grips. The accuarcy is great. Shot a pellet through the same hole on one rare occasion.

    Things I would have changed:

Put wood grips on by RB and add a steel breach and then it would be the ulitmate air pistol

    What others should know:

I was using RWS R-10 7.0 Grain Pellets very accurate pellets great finish no bumps or rough edges tottaly worth the extra 5 bucks

    Things I would have changed:

ambidextrous safety would be nice, trigger a bit too heavy

    What others should know:

I have owned this gun for 10 years (2000+ pellets) and love it, especially for distance plinking (cans at 40m). Excellent inherent accuracy. Sits well in a large hand.

    I'm not impressed

    Things I would have changed:

I would add more pounds of air per cubic inch

    What others should know:

Bought a Crosman pistol over 25 years ago and that one is stronger and more powerful than this new one here. I still have the old one and it still works great.

    Things I liked:

I am very impressed by the accuracy. I sighted it in at 25 yards on the local range, and it grouped as well or better than my .22/45 Ruger. With the current shortages of ammunition, at least .177 pellets aren't scarce. I might wind up shooting 10 meter air. Years ago, I had a Hy-Score 800. That was good, but the Crosman is even better. I'll admit that the .22 pellets and the camera iris type breech on the Hy-Score made loading with my big, fat fingers a little easier, but I'm getting the hang of flipping the .177's into the gate in the right direction.

    Things I would have changed:

I ordered the rails and Crosman red dot at the same time. The iron sights are fine, but I was really impressed by the red dot for the price. It obviously isn't as sturdy as the other red dots I have that are meant to withstand significant recoil, but it was easy to zero, and held the zero well. Again, becoming proficient with red dot optics is a lot cheaper when 1000 rounds leaves enough change from a $20 bill to buy lunch. I may do some of the after market mods, not so much as it needs them as that I like to fiddle around with things.

The length of the barrel makes for greater accuracy, the iron sights are decent and accurate i have mine shooting 1 inch sized groups at 15 yards, not to hard to pump. I like how it can be easily modified

    Things I would have changed:

include to wider grips from the crosman ''backpacker'' model 2289

    What others should know:

this gun is accurate when its un-moded but there a whole world of options for this pistol/Mini Rifle. I bought one purely for moding it into a scoped mini rifle Want to see some awesome moded 1377s then go to airgunartisans.com

    Things I liked:

Very good quality and easy use. No recoil.

    Things I would have changed:

It is on the heavy side. There are many very strong plastics out there that could have done the job of some of the metal parts. The sights are a bit imprecise.

    What others should know:

A good gun thay any boy room should have. Changing the handles into wood would be a nice upgrade.

    Things I liked:

You can pump the rifle to desired power level, although just a few pumps is sizzling..... Like the weight of the gun and length of the barrel to add to the accuracy of long shots.

    Things I would have changed:

Fatten the pump handle, and maybe put some grooves or a ring to hold on to when you pump it. I had one of these in the 90's and it pinched my hand when pumping then, and is still doing it now. You have to be careful when pumping, and multiple shots brings fatigue.

    What others should know:

For the price, this is one good gun. I have owned two of them, This gun is so powerful, squirrels in your back yard will think they are in IRAQ and your a sniper. Some call it a great beginners gun, hell, this is good for even skilled users. just be careful of the pump handle and always keep it oiled.

    Things I liked:

Solid feel, accurate, not pellet picky, inexpensive, american classic.

    Things I would have changed:

Can be a little uncorfable to pump due to no smooth suface to hold onto. Sights seem a little big and don't have enough adjustment, mine is adjusted all the way down and it still shoots about an eighth of and inch high.

    What others should know:

This gun has a great feel. It is well made and just feels solid. Although it may take longer to shoot than C02 pistols, it is more fun for me because of the accuracy, power, and cost. It is a great plinking pistol and it very accurate when shot from a bench. I set up a GAMO target in my indoor range, and from about 10 yards I put around 20 pellets through a hole the size of a nickel. This pistol isn't pelet finicky, it like all the good quality pellets I have shot through it. I very higly reccomend this gun.

the bolt action is good...around 8-10 pumps will give you an average 580-600 fps..gun feels comfortable in hand for its big size..

    Things I would have changed:

    What others should know:

great gun but after 30 minutes of shooting you will get tired from the pumping of the gun...I do enjoy shooting this gun...

    Things I liked:

Very high power, build sturdy, nice trigger pull, I could could hit targets at 50 yards with a scope.

    Things I would have changed:

The barrel is a bit loose, had to use some tape on it, to keep it steady with a scope mounted

    What others should know:

Get the stock for it and a good scope and you have a top of the line rifle

    Things I liked:

The accuracy is very good. I can get repeatable groups, 3/8" - 5/8", at 30 feet with only 5 pumps, using a red dot. I haven't tested groups beyond that distance, but I can hit a small soup can at 40 yards more often then not.

    Things I would have changed:

The rear sight is too high. You can't get it adjusted low enough. I can live with the plastic, IF it is useable. Mine will have to be modified to be useable. I ordered and installed the steel breech, part #1377SBPK, and put a red dot on instead.

    What others should know:

The stock breech and rear sight are plastic, and would have been fine, except mine was rotated about 4 degrees to the left of plumb, and too high. Looks like crap, but still groups well. I had to slide the rear sight as far right as possible and pull the front blade down into the rear notch for sight picture, in order to compensate. I finally shimmed up the left side of the tube and retightened screws to plumb it up. The optional steel breech, while expensive, is high qualifty and grooved to accept red dot or scope rings. The trigger pull can EASILY be lessened by removing the plastic grips and replacing the stiff trigger spring with a softer one from ACE Hardware. I got this idea from another review, and it WORKS.

    Things I liked:

Inexpensive for what you get. Lightweight, good velocity and simple to use. Unlike other reviews, the grips were tight.

    Things I would have changed:

Rear sight is too high. It consistently shoots 5+ inches high at 40 feet. There should be a better elevation adjustment for the rear sight. I would also like to have a metal receiver, grooved for a scope mount. Trigger should be lightened a bit.

    What others should know:

RWS pellets seemed to fit tight and required some effort to seat. The Crosman's were easy to chamber.
