    Things I liked:

Good looking and well made, great price. It is an accurate shooter right out of the box.I added an AR 15 carry handle, red dot sight and folding fore grip to finish it off.

    Things I would have changed:

The pump grip is pretty big in your hand

    What others should know:

A warning must be added, the rails on the pump/grip and barrel/lower sling are pretty useless as is. You can not pump if you add anything to these rails as they are, I had to remove the lower barrel sling loop/rail in order to add a foregrip and still be able to pump. If you want to add a fore grip it must be the folding type to work.

    Things I liked:

Good look and an over all great air rifle, feels like the old crosman a.i.r 17 rifle from the 80's. Smooth shooting and its rather quiet plus the built in rails make it so you can add scopes, lights, laser and whatever else you would possibly need on this rifle. The removable front and rear sights are also amazing and look like a real rifle sight combo!

    Things I would have changed:

The pumping can be awkward and the clip is kind of hard to switch to the next shot in the beginning but it gets smoother and easier after a few clips.

    What others should know:

Really cool looking and easy to pump definitely a fun plinker for young and old alike. Buy extra crosman clips so you can keep shooting for a while!

    Things I liked:

weight, balance, pump and loading function, accuracy, sight rail.

    Things I would have changed:

no good way to attach M-4 single point sling mount at receiver base of stock.

    What others should know:

Installed holographic sight and consistently got 1/2 inch group at 30 feet with 3 pumps and target pellets. 5 rounds generally through one 1/2 in hole, strays were my fault.

    Things I would have changed:

Leave the sling loop/Pitcinny rail off of the bottom of the barrel

    What others should know:

You can not pump if you put anything on the pump/grip or lower barrel rail.In order to use a folding foregrip On the pump/grip rail I had to remove the lower sling loop/rail.

    Things I liked:

Its consistently accurate and the weaver top rail allows great flexability.

    Things I would have changed:

Butt stock mount could be stronger. and I would offer other stock styles as well.

    What others should know:

If you are looking for a carry handle, an AR15 carry handle fits perfectly, or you can use a very nice airsoft version readily available online for $25. The one with the fully adjustable dual aperture flip sight on the carry handle gives that much more adjustment. The carry handle also gives an excellent hold point for pumping the gun.

    Things I liked:

First thing to love is I have confirmed the gun is all american made except tor exactly 1 tiny screw. Once I had a few shots placed through the gun the valves sealed and stopped leaking. The gun is awsone with a laser on it not too bad with the slightly cheesy stock sights. Can place a foregrip on it but be sure to get a folding one. Also can put on optics if you take of the iron sights, and a bipod is easily attached under barrel. Also can accept a pistol bayonette for the cool factor. I plan on getting at least 4 more of these and putting them up since I think they will be a collector item. Not much is made in america so when I find something I make sure I get a few extra.

    Things I would have changed:

Sights are cheesy and I'd prefer an all steel barrel. My advice is toss the sights that come with it and get some cool flip down sights and a dot sight.

    What others should know:

I am convinced there was alot of thought put into making this gun. Crosman told me, yes I actually spoke to someone involved in designing this, that it is designed for target and pest illimination. They said it should be good for anything up to the size of a very fat squirrel with crosman pointed pellets and 10 pumps.

    Things I liked:

It's appearance is extremely good. It appears to be able to fire most any pellet, flat, dome, or pointed. Doesn't require gas canisters to fire BBs or pellets. It can fire hundreds of BBs without reloading. Front sight may be adjusted up or down. I didn't punch holes in targets, but did follow the trajectory of the pellets and BBs. It appeared to fire straight and not fly off in different directions.

    Things I would have changed:

Greater strength for the stock to the receiver connection. Better feeding automation of the pellets into the firing chamber. Sight system that is easier to direct at a target. Front sight is not easily and quickly included in the sight picture.

    What others should know:

Three things required to fire it, cock it three to ten times, pull a side bolt to the rear and back to the front again, and push the pellet strip in one indent each time you fire a pellet. Firing BBs does not require the third step of manually feeding ammo into the firing chamber. I would not use a sling on it, due to the possible weakness of the connection at the rear stock to the receiver. I say this latter comment because I am familiar with the treatment the M4 receives in normal use.

Love the look, easy set up, accurate right out of the box. Buy it, you'll love it!

    Things I would have changed:

Maybe make the stock extend a little bit more.

    What others should know:

Buy some extra mags and a reloading pen.

    Things I liked:

When I first saw this I thought "this is the coolest thing I have seen in a long time". I just got mine and gave it a thougough going over. Finish is nice. Barrel is plastic with metal inner barrel. In cact most of it is plastic. It's a bit lighter than a real m4. Looks enough like an ar platform that it could very easily be mistaken for one. Loved the ajustable butstock. Sights do requirw tools but are ajustable.nice that magazine holds 4 pellet holder and front sight tool. And plenty of places for lasers, sights, flashlights, and can also hold a pistol bayonette. Easy to pump up too.

    Things I would have changed:

I would prefer the barrel be all metal and the sights are just a touch cheesy but can be replaced by anumber of optics or aftermarket sights. Other than that, well done crosman!

    What others should know:

If you are in the market for a pump gun, this should be the one. Far superior to the nightstalker in quality. I have a feeling this one will be a very deireable gun for a long time and perhaps a collectable like the crosman air 17 from the 1980's.

    Things I liked:

Brianag618:USA, This Air Gun arrived yesterday and today was the first chance I had to really check it out. The Crosman M4 is and extreamly light Air Gun, and the Pump up Power supply reminds me of my old Benji 5/mm.Surprisingly the factory sights that came with the Rifle are extreamly accurate and not what I was expecting to find in an Air Gun in this price range. At 10 meters right out of the box and making sure the pump action and chamber were oiled, I let it sit over night with the butt of the stuck on the floor and the barrel in the air. I wanted to make sure it was well oiled before testing it out. I used Crosman HEAVIES for the first set of test rounds, and they all hit with in a quarter size group with no strays at all. This will be a good plinking Rifle for the winter if you are lucky enough like I am to have a large garage (or basement) where you can set up a shooting range. I t will also make a very nice Rifle to start a young shooter out with to teach him/ her how to handle a Gun and how to shoot. It will make a very good first Air Gun for that young shooter, but ONLY UNDER ADULT SUPERVISION.

    Things I would have changed:

If I was Crosman I would change the top Weaver Rail to a HAND CARRY DESIGN. The reason I say this is because I went thru (3) three diffrent Aim Points with the last one being a Walter PS22 Aim Point. The problem I was having was getting enough "UP" Adjustment W/O loosing all the adjustment all to gether. I had it to its' Max "UP" Adjustment and I was comming up 1/2 to 1 inch short of hitting DEAD Center, I just ran out and other then to keep switching out sights from some of my Pistols there was just no way to get the sight adjusted enough to get that last 1inch or so. If Crosman was to change the Design slightly, to were the top rail is more like a handle to get some hight for an Aim Point System. But as I stated the way it came out of the box the factory PEP Rear sight and the front sight able to be adjusted with the small tool they give you, if you like open sights you will be very happy with this Air Gun as a PLINKER. My self I will only shoot Pellets out of it, it does have a rifled barrel, and if you shoot BB's out of it you are going to wear out the LANS & GROVES fairly Quick. I would also prefer a bit more metal and a lot less plastic in this gun. She is approx 96% Plastic, so do not go throwing it around or letting the Gun bounce of the floor to often.

    What others should know:

Make sure you read the manual all the way thru, the Pellet MAG CLIP must be feed/ pushed thru the reciever MANUALY, it does not AUTO FEED. You have to cock the gun and then slid the Pellet "MAGAZINE trhu the reciever very slowly till you feal it catch the next notch. When you feel it hit the first notch you then close the bolt into position. I would strongly suggest that you pump up the power chamber first with the Safety Set, then insert the Pellet MAG, Slide it into place slowly, and then close the bolt. If it is not in the right position the bolt will not close, or at the very worse, you skipped over the next pellet of (5) five to shoot and when you think you are done and take the MAG out you may have a Pellet or 2 left over, only because you pused it to the next firing position to fast and missed the rotation. As they say its all in the feel. There is a whole seperate set of instructions, on using BB's, but I my self as stated will only shoot Pellets, only to save the Lans and GROVES in the Barrel. Other wise I found this to be a very easy firing Air Gun, that so long as I am home, would have "NO" Problem to stat teaching my grandsons in how to handle any gun, and how to shoot properly. The factory sights would be great for a first time shooter to learn the basic skills needed, before you put a more powerfull gun in their hands with a scope on it. The Basic's must come first, teach them right and they will have a life time of fun shooting.Brian Goodloff Semper FI

Atleast .22 cal and more power than .177 cal. I will order this type of airgun with .22 cal and with 1000-1250ft/sec

    What others should know:

Can this be made to PCM power source in the future.

    Things I liked:

I preordered this before there was any real feedback available on it. I am not disappointed! I was concerened it might have been too toy like in construction. Although it is all plastic on the outside it is very nice quality and looks good on a tactical gun. Fit and finish of the parts is perfect. The sights are very nice and fully adjustable. Pumps easy even when fitted with a scope. Trigger pull is long of course but not heavy, very predictable trigger let-off. I fitted an inexpensive Simmons 4 power scope and can shoot consistant 1" groups at 50 feet. The gun is capable of better, I am not! Comfortable gun to carry, not too heavy, not too light.

    Things I would have changed:

I really think at this price level there is nothing glaring that I would change. Good job Crosman, you will sell alot of these!

    What others should know:

Gun is quieter than my others. If you like this style gun you won't be disappointed. Nice to look at and best of all it hits what you aim at! I posted a short review on Youtube. A must have for your collection. It will be one of my Go-To guns. Pyramyd Air as always is the best.
