    Things I liked:

LOW cost, compared to other target rilfes. But the cost goes up $60-100 when you have to buy a diopter sight to do 10 meter competition shooting. The design lets you dry fire the rifle, to improve how you pull the trigger. This is very important for target shooters. You CANNOT dry fire a spring rifle w/o damaging the rifle. The stock is very comfortable for target shooting, although I would have preferred the forestock to be deeper (top to bottom).

    Things I would have changed:

Fix the trigger. The stock trigger is LOUSEY (at least mine was). The problem is simply that Daisy did not "finish" the trigger sear. There are burrs on the sear that cause the trigger to have a gritty and heavy pull. Fixing this one "problem" will greatly improve the trigger.

    What others should know:

This is NOT a hunter. I don't know why Daisy advertises it as one. It is a great starter/trainger rifle and a great beginner target rifle. The rifle is HEAVY compared to other rifles. This is great for target shooting, but not so great for casual carry around use by a kid. I use mine for a starter/trainer rifle with a red-dot sight. The red-dot sight is VERY easy for new shooters to use. A LOT easier than the stock sights.

    Things I liked:

I really like this rifle. Hard to beat the price. It's much more accurate than I am. It cocks easy for an adult. My 9yr old grandsons have difficulty cocking it but the 10 yr old does ok. I don't feel any recoil or vibration. It's easy to load. It's relatively quiet. However, I shot out my back door from within the house and the neighbor's dog started barking so at least dogs can hear it. This is my go to gun when I want to target practice.

    Things I would have changed:

I would make the trigger adjustable.

    What others should know:

RWS Hobby pellets 7.7gr seem to work the best.

    Things I liked:

This rifle is accurate. Accuracy is improved using high quality match grade pellets. I am getting 5 shot, one hole groups. It is quiet enough for indoor apartment target practice. You can't beat this rifle for the price, even if it cost twice as much.

    Things I would have changed:

    Nothing.

    What others should know:

Single pellet loading is a bit difficult even with my medium-sized hands. The 5-shot clip is definately the way to go.

    Things I liked:

amazing accuracy right out of the box, shooting tight groups. feels good to hold- has some heft to it despite the hollow synthetic stock.

    Things I would have changed:

they shoul include the proper size hex wrench with it- i happened to have one, but some others may not. the manual refers to turning the "adjustment screw" to adjust the sights, so perhaps the hex screw is a recent change. anyway, really no big deal.

    What others should know:

it is Exactly as advertised- a good rifle for people interested in trying out competetive target shooting- or anyone who likes accuracy. personally, accuracy seems to be the most important thing- i don't see any reason to purchase a gun that isn't accurate- no matter what your intentions for the gun are- the whole point is to hit what you are aiming at!

    Things I liked:

Light. Accurate. Quiet. Easy to cock. This rifle is amazing at 10m and very good at 20m. I'm still working on my 30m targets.

    Things I would have changed:

It'd be nice if it came with more than one 5-shot clip.

    What others should know:

5-shot clip is great. Really adds to the fun. I'd order add'l clips (I think they come in a 5-pack). Tried lots of pellets. Cr. Premiere Super Match were bad -- very inconsistent and hard to feed using the 5-shot clip. RWS Hobby's are good. Gamo Match are very consistent and the best were JSB Exact domed. One tip: when you pump this rifle, pause very briefly at the end of the open stroke and listen for the "whoosh" -- that's the air intake sound. I read about that in the manual and it makes a difference. Also, keep the sponge on the piston lubricated.

solid feel. very accurate. great price. daisy hit a home run on this one

    Things I would have changed:

a little more power. and to be very picky i would like the trigger to be a little better. an extra clip or two would have been nice.

    What others should know:

I have looked at hundreds of air rifles and read their reviews trying to find an accurate gun for my 12 year old son to learn the diciplines of good marksmenship. This gun was accurate out of the box and gave him great encouragement. A BSA red dot scope fits nicely without having to remove the rear sites and gives it a "tactical" look that makes it even more fun for him to shoot. i was going to buy a very exspensive air rifle but saw the reviews on this one and decided to give it a try. Glad i did and would recommend to anyone. This gun is not strong enough to take down varmits except maybe at very close ranges.

    Things I liked:

What a nice shooting rifle, excellent balance, smooth cocking, light trigger pull with a little creep, not bad. Accuracy is superb. It delivers a totally recoiless rock solid shot you will never get from a spring piston rifle. Seems to have more than enough power for my indoor shooting gallery,(that's why I bought it). Did I mention it's also quiet? I found the stock fiber optic sights excellent, easy to see and adjust. Before you run out and buy target peep sights know that in dim light they are very hard to see through, fast shooting at moving targets is also a problem.

    Things I would have changed:

Daisy could have thrown in a buttstock spacer.

    What others should know:

    Things I liked:

Accuracy with preferred pellets is wonderful. Off a bench, scoped, with proper rests, this rifle will group all 5 shots from a clip into a slightly out of round hole. It doesn't cloverleaf, it bugholes. For not using the Lothar Walther barrels, they still managed to turn out a silly accurate rifle. Pump action is smooth and easy. Indexing of the clip was positive for me from the first time I shot this rifle. It's a quiet gun as well.

    Things I would have changed:

Dump the factory "fiber optic" sights right away. They are the worst feature on the entire rifle. I purchased the Avanti target sights and am quite happy with them, but also often use a scope equipped rifle (I own two of these airguns). Add a few spacers to the buttstock unless you like a short length of pull. Seek out online the directions to modify your trigger so it is lighter and crisper. From the factory, it's similar to the 22x, 22SG, 880, or other pump up "powerline" models.

    What others should know:

Daisy says it's a small game gun. A .177, 8 grain pellet at 475-500 FPS isn't much of a small game gun. You may be able to smite sparrows from short range birdfeeders, but don't count on this rifle knocking squirrels out of the tops of oaks. It's a great plinker, trainer, and fun rifle to practice with in the basement. It's easily worth the price.

    Things I liked:

Very accurate and easy to cock for kids.

    Things I would have changed:

Replacement sight should be available. Fiberoptics can be knocked out of both the front and rear sights. Also, there should be a shield to stop kids from accidentally putting a pellet in the side of the action.

    What others should know:

We use this gun at a summer camp and our 12 guns go through about 10,000 rounds a week. They hold up to this hard use with a mimimum of repair.

    Things I liked:

Great rifle all around. It has a lot of plastic, but the plastic is very durable, heavy, and lends well to making the rifle feel authentic, and not like a toy. Mechanical 5 shot system is nice, and makes shooting faster. Single pump to fire is also speeds up your shots. Stock is short on pull, and very confortable to handle. Weight lends itself to accuracy, and rifle is well balanced.

    Things I would have changed:

The 5 shot clip does not always advance correctly, and is made from soft plastic which needs to be lubricated.. The rear sight is not very good, and expect to replace them for anything other than plinking. The bolt is not very smooth and takes a lot of effort to open and close. Maybe this will smooth out as the gun breaks in,, but the bolt is plasic, so it shouldn't break in much.

    What others should know:

Great value for the money, and a great plinking rifle that is very accurate. For the price of a "toy" type bb/pellet gun, this rifle is 10 times the shooter. Buy extra magizines for the gun, and you'll be shooting all day. Not as powerfull as others, but 500 -600fps is ideal for 10 meter and plinking. You can also use a lot of pellet traps with this gun, so shooting in your home, attic, garage is safer. This gun will be in my collection for a long time to come.

Amazing for the price. Easy to pump, light but not to light to the point that you feel like its a toy. The stock is very comfotrable and the trigger is really crisp and consistent .

    Things I would have changed:

The grip is good if your training to be in the olympics, not normal shooting, id rather a standerd rifle grip.

    What others should know:

extreamly acurate, i can hit 5shot nickle sized groups at 15m on a windy day, on a calm day with a 15mm scope, i can land 20 shot 1inch groups at 50m

    Things I liked:

When I opened up the box, I was surprised by not only the look, but the feel and heft of this rifle. It does not feel like cheap plastic, more like composite synthetic. The accuracy is awesome out of the box. Really makes you feel good hitting the bulls eye all the time. Perfect for quiet backyard shooting or indoor practice. The 5 shot clip is really cool. This is a must have at a great price!

    Things I would have changed:

Have the sights better adjustable. They need an allen wrench which does not come with the rifle. A little bit more metal parts, but the plastic seems durable. Especially for the price I can not complain.

    What others should know:

Be sure to lube the 5 shot clip. That will make it work like a charm.

Bought two----- for my 10 and 7 yr old. Put target sights one and left the tru-glos on the other. These rifles shoot really well at 10 meters and out. 5-shot mags work well. I even like shooting them! Easy to hit same hole once you get used to the trigger.

    Things I would have changed:

    Better trigger.

    What others should know:

A bit hard for my kids to cock but it's coming.

    Things I liked:

Price, Accuracy, Fun Factor, target stock. This is an inexpensive rifle and some of the plastic bits don't exactly fill you with the pride of ownership, but for sheer fun, this thing is hard to beat. Very accurate at 10 meters, and more fun than my 900 fps spring gun for short-range plinking.

    Things I would have changed:

Pump lever is a little too light -- holding up so far, but it bends and doesn't inspire confidence.

    What others should know:

Great plinker, with no recoil. The magazines on mine wouldn't index until I sprayed them with silicone spray lube -- now they work perfectly pretty much every time.

WOW!! What a great rifle at such a great price too! The smooth color and solid feel are very impressive. Very comfortable grip and such an easy trigger. Did I mention how quiet this piece is as well? Very quiet, definitely my favorite indoor shooter by far!!! The 5 shot clip is a great asset that makes consistency very easy. Awesome Tru-Glo sights too, just line it up, gently squeeze that trigger and presto!!! a perfect shot nearly every time.

    Things I would have changed:

Would like to see an adjustable trigger.

    Things I liked:

The looks and feel are fantastic. But the best part is the gun is so accurate with so many pellets. My 12 year old daughter and 8 year old son can shoot this rifle well. The single pump is fantatic when target shooting for hours. A little heavy for my son though. The gun is not hold sensitive like a springer.

    Things I would have changed:

include the small allen key for the sights.

    What others should know:

Buy one and enjoy one of the best deals out there. The rifle shoots 1 hole groups without much effort. Velocity listed in the manual is 500 fps. My chrono tells me 450 FPS with 7.9 grain pellets. And it shoots Laser Sports at the same speed into .022 CTC groups. This is a great target and plinking rifle, do not use it for hunting or pest control.

    Things I liked:

I was looking for a target rifle for practice in a small backyard that was quiet, but accurate. All the breakbarrels that I have tried were great, but too loud for my neighborhood. I have a Daisy 22 SG that is quiet and now accurate, but it took buying and returning two others to find one with a solid barrel. Read reviews about this one and ordered from Pyramyd. It was out of stock and I was going to be out of town for two weeks. They coordinated shipping so I could be home to sign for it. This rifle is solid, quiet, and accurate. An added bonus is that it is economical. When using the single shot clip, it is easier to load than most rifles or pistols in my experience. Big hands handling a .177 caliber pellet can be cumbersome. Trigger pull is easy. I am very pleased with this rifle.

    Things I would have changed:

The five shot clips are a nice feature but are not calibrated well for my rifle. Each pull of the bolt requires a manual adjustment of the clip before the next pellet can be inserted.

    What others should know:

Requires experimentation to find the most accurate brand of pellet for this rifle. The Gamo Match Diabolo works well with this one.

    Things I liked:

Manufactured by Daisy. Purchased from PyramyDair three weeks ago for $72. Upon opening the rifle I was highly disappointed with PyramyDair, the rifle was poorly secured within the box, if at all. The rifle had no protection whatsoever, not to mention the pellets and magazines ordered where inside the box, ready to bump into the barrel and leave nice paint chips. However, I was lucky enough to not have this happen to mine. On my receiver there is a small dent bringing down the finish, most likely a manufacturing defect, not shipping. The stock has a nice matte black finish and has a very smooth texture. The ergo grip is quite nice, it will accommodate large or small handed people well. Being a pistol grip, it allows for better stability of the rifle. The balance of the rifle is very well down, neither is it front heavy or back heavy. The provided sights are decent nylon fiber, front sight is green while rear being red, the two different colors aid in aliening the sights. My biggest complaint here is how the sights are adjustable. You use a alen wrench to loosen the assembly, then manually move the sights. There is no click adjustable sight on the gun. I would highly recommend purchasing after market sights. The trigger pull is about 1 pound maybe? The trigger action is very smooth, the response time is not even detectable. The power for this rifle is pump action, unlike most rifles, one pump brings the compression to max power, saving your arm for another day. My only complaint on the lever is that it will become stuck just before finishing the stroke, in other words you must bring it back out 1 - 2 inches in order to close it. I found the magazines to be more of a pain, the bolt will sometimes give me trouble when pushing the pellet out, the force can get up to 10 pounds. Overall, this is a good beginner rifle and I do recommend it. I am ordering new sights in a few days, stock sights a junk, and will be ordering with PyramyDair a second time. I do recommend this retailer for all your needs.

    Things I would have changed:

Sights, put a more quality sight on the rifle, such click adjustable. Better bolt assembly.

    What others should know:

Don't use low quality pellets in this rifle, comon sense.
