It felt very well made and the butt plate was good.

I really tried to like this gun. I wanted something with a scope, mult-shot, and a break barrel. When I found this I was hyped up. It met every requirement I had but when I got it I was so mad. It had a horrible scope, the scope was so inaccurate no matter what I did. I shot it and the gun kept jamming. I was incredibly gentle but still after 30 shots exactly the spring broke and the gun wouldn't shoot. The magazine was cheap and terrible. The numbers on it never were correct and always would drop the pellets out of the holes. I'm so angry and I already sent it back. This is the worst experience I've ever had with an air gun.

Just don't buy it.

Today was my first day even shooting it I took it out of the box and shot it and emidatly I was hitting paper it took me only 5 minutes to sight it in then I took it to the woods and killed two squirrels I headshot both with ease overal gr8 gun I bought this in the .22 caliber and I shoot the Ruger super point they perform excellent.

The 1st rifle I received failed on the 12th shot. Rifle would not cock. Service personnel were excellent to work with. RMA issued and new rifle received within 10 days. No issues thus far.

95 rounds fired and I am impresed. Easy to cock ,reloading device worked flawless, and the accuracy was great ,velosity was low may improve as it gets broke in. 15 yard range (indoor ) turned scope down to 5x to clear up focus. And it is lighter than my Benjamans. Scope adjusted easy definent clicks, I was on Bulls Eye the fith shot one half in high. held zero so far. It likes Gamo wad cutters 15.4 gr. Of corse it is early for a review know more later.

SCOPE If gamo put a beghter scope in the package the price would go up. so leav it like it is. May find flaws later. Receiver is very short , Replacement scope will need to be short . open the action to get the lense caps on now Are sling swivels needed. could easily damage loading device looks fragile. Picitinny scope rail on top of their system would make scope changing easy. Copy Benjaman and crosman.

Make the clip mechanism work

The gun works ok if you take the whole clip mechanism off and shoot it as a single shot shooting it this way don't waste you money but a better gun I wish I would have

This rifle is priced right for beginners. Picked mine up for under $200.00 Well made and love the multiple shot aspect.

Biggest complaint is accuracy. This thing shoots all over the place. I've been trying to zero in the scope for hrs to no avail!!! I've owned 2 other brake barrel rifles and been able to get them accurate to 50- 75 yrs within 30-50 shots. This one is another story.Still trying with little advancement. I threw away the box, otherwise I'd be sending it back!!

As I said , great price and you might have better luck than me on getting it to shoot with more accuracy.

This is a great air rifle. I like the smooth easy cocking, nice trigger and quiet back yard friendly firing. It is good value for the money. I have only fired about 150 pellets through it so far so I have not yet found the best pellets for it.

Gamo should supply a better scope with this gun.

The price and power combination in a rifle that I can legally and safely use in my 1/4 acre lot in northern Virginia.

No mounting points for carry straps.

The amount of effort to caulk the rifle is fine for me. The gun is long, a moderate 7.5 lbs and quiet enough to use in the backyard without too much disturbance. The targets are more sound than the actual rifle. I'm using JSB Jumbo Heavies right now so the rounds are well below supersonic speeds. Pyramyd Air are great folks as they replaced my order for free when I made a mistake of ordering the .177 instead of the .22 using the online shopping cart and being careless.

1st off, this is my 1st air rifle. I'm a Marine expert rifleman, 235 - 242. This Gamo IS TIGHT! I unboxed the rifle 4 days ago, mounted the scope, read the lit, and let it sit. Too busy at work. Today, I put 60 through it, before I had to get back to my responsibilities. I love the 10 round clip. What a time saver. Wish I had ordered 10 more of them. I did my shooting from a kneel, with a trench shovel for a shooting stick. 20 paces, no wind. Shooting Air Arms Diablo Field pellets. The first group was low & to the right. All in a line. Minor adjustment to the scope, same area for the 2nd group. Bold dope adjustment for the third group. Getting closer. Bolder dope adjustment, groups 4 & 5 were low in the black or close to it. Final adjustment, all in the black except #2. The break barrel is firm, no jiggle, no grind. I like this rifle already. I took pics of the targets, but no upload on this mobile website.

Not sure what I would change. Wait, yes I do. Removing the front scope cover cannot be done without cocking the barrel. Not a big deal, just odd. The whole mechanism at the break looks like it wpuld be in the way of the scopes view. Not the case.

For the price, tgis is a great entry level rifle. I'm using it for some ratting in the hen house. Maybe on to squirrels too.

Auto load feature failed after about 100 rounds. GAMO customer service was very helpful and explained the auto loader was defective and sent a return shipping label to return the unit. The auto loader feature is a great idea, but GAMO has not perfected it yet. The auto loader is cheap plastic as is the magazine that contains the ammo. Also, trigger and safety mechanisms are plastic. $180 is lot to pay for an air gun with cheap plastic critical parts.

I would not purchase this air rifle again

Excellent gun and accurate. Love to shoot without loading each pellet separately. Deadly on Red Squirrels.

Supply a couple of mags with the gun.

This is my first break barrel air rifle. In the past, I have always used a slow, single shot, CO2 or a "Pump Up" rifle. What first attracted me to the Swarm was the pellet feeding magazine. At first, (Being a Carbine Guy), I was a little overwhelmed by the rifles overall length. Now, after handling it for a while, I like it's light weight and balance. It's easy to cock and as accurate as any of my other air rifles.

For hunting, this rifle needs someplace to attach a sling ferrule on the forearm. Attaching anything to the barrel that may place a strain on it bothers me.

As with any Rifle, Air, or other wise, You will find that testing with various brands and types of pellets is a must for greater accuracy.
