    Things I liked:

Its beautiful accurate and very pellet friendly not near as picky as some of my others works great with HnN hunter and hunter extremes

    Things I would have changed:

    Maybe a sling?

    What others should know:

Its a bit heavy but if you want an accurate hard hitter buy it at 40 yards I get quarter size groups

    Things I liked:

Accurate out of the box. Good trigger. Good rifle for the money.

    Things I would have changed:

Same issue as other with the screws coming loose easily. Front trigger guard screw cannot be tightened without stripping the wood. I would also like it if the sight dots were a bit larger as I do not use the scope. The QE part of the gun does not dampen the sound enough for neighborhood plinking. Hoping it will get better as more rounds of pellets are fired.

    What others should know:

It is a very good shooter for the price point of the gun.

    Things I liked:

The gun is not really hard to cock.. .It is fairly silent. Accuracy is not too shabby if you use the correct Pellets. Speed is Good. but could be better. But that is what the model 135 is for. . more speed. . . The safety is really nice, easy to turn off or on. easily accessible. I have had this gun for about 3 to 4 weeks now. Purchased from Pyramid.

    Things I would have changed:

I do not know what the stock is made of. . .It isn't real wood that I am used to. It isn't really plastic either. I would rather have a real wood stock, Wood that I am use to feeling and dealing with. Maybe a compressed type wood? I don't know. . . Different scope. Rear sight. . .not worth a penny. . . It is so poorly made and put on, that you can take your fingers and move it back and forth, affecting the aim and sighting of the rifle(windage). The windage adjustment knob was so worthless, that it would not adjust the windage at all. I had to help it out before the windage indicator even moved. Summery . . Get rid of the rear sight adjustment. piece of junk. Get rid of the scope and get a better one on. Don't use Diabolo HEAVY pellets.

    What others should know:

If you purchase this gun, do NOT (repeat) do NOT purchase any Diabolo "heavy" Pellets. The pellets do NOT fit fully inside the chamber, and the skirts of the pellet stick out just a very small fraction of an inch. Using the Heavy pellets, I could NOT keep the pellets in a group of less than 8 to 10 inches at 40 yards. Many times the pellets were completely off the target. At 20 yards, I would have fliers 5 to 7 inches with no groups to even look or think about. Now, with that said, the Diabolo Match Pellets produced very good results. The skirts fit snugly and flush with the chamber. Groups were much tighter and you were expecting to hit what you were aiming at, instead of hoping to hit a piece of typing paper at 20 yards.

    Things I liked:

I love this gun! The accuracy is perfect for the pest control in my home. I love the iron sights, they work perfectly. I havent used the scope yet just for the simple fact that the sights are just what I want and need in my yard. But I will definitely give it a shot when I want to go out hunting.

    Things I would have changed:

Its a little heavy, but I expected as much because of the beautiful wood stock. But its not a big deal other than that.

    What others should know:

Definitely buy this beautiful piece! I fell in love with it and would buy it again if given the chance.

    Things I liked:

This rifle is very well balanced; center of balance is 3inches in front of trigger. I shoot offhand, schutzen style, and this is nearly perfect. I have not checked the scope that comes with it, as I shoot open sights. The sights on this are fiber optic, which I did not think I would like.. but the sight picture is tight and easy to see.. I think actually like these sights the best of any factory iron sights I have used. With the exception of the trigger guard (molded plastic) the rifle is all steel, and very evenly blued and attractive. the Turkish walnut stock has beautiful grain, and the matte finish looks like great. The laser-cut checkering is immaculate. Right out of the box, I shot 1inch groups at 15 yards, the rifle probably is better than this, but I am still not used to the trigger, and 1inch CTC groups are good for me. Seems like its going to be a great rifle.

    Things I would have changed:

It was stiff, probably because of the tight tolerances. I expect it to loosen up with use. A metal trigger guard would be a very nice touch, as it is the only plastic on the rifle. I did not review the included scope, so please refer to other reviews for opinions of it.

    What others should know:

I own several other air rifles, all spring or nitro piston guns. This one is in 25caliber with a nitro piston, and it is the quietest rifle that I have. It seems to have very little vibration when firing, For the money, I like it so much I am tempted to buy another in 17caliber.

    Things I liked:

Overall quality is excellent. Fit and finish is excellent as well. I didn't even attempt to Mount the scope that came with the rifle. I had a spare scope available for use. There was a little more recoils than expected, but totally manageable. I can only shoot 50 feet indoors. With a steady hold and good quality pellets (H & N) it was pretty easy to shoot 5 shot groups that could be covered with a nickel. For the money the is a lot of gun. Ive oWaned and shot some very expensive air rifles, but this rifle is surprisingly accurate for the money. Time will tell how it holds up. It will be handed off to a grandson soon so it will be shot a lot.

    Things I would have changed:

Provided scope does not add any value. Image quality is not good. Im sure the internals are poor as well.

    What others should know:

This a lot of air rifle for the money. Put a decent scope on it and dont Use cheap pellets. It seems to have a good quality barrel and is capable of very good accuracy.

    Things I liked:

Love the wood stock very clean good looking rifle . very accurate . getting 1/2 " groupings @ 25yd. The iron sights work very well and accurate i was surprised because my last rifle the iron sights were junk couldn't hit anything with them but this one man right out the box boom bullseye 15 yards

    Things I would have changed:

Could use a better scope but isnt too bad it's usable. Would like the trigger to be easier too adjust

    What others should know:

I got this rifle to replace my .177 remington black Magic rifle was not accurate enough to shoot rats at 25 yards away so I got the .22 hatsun Model 95 and it is dead accurate out too 25 yards aways i have shot any farther but I'm sure I could probably get half inch -3/4 " groupings @ 50yards .am using crosman premier HP 14.3gr . best rifle you can get for $200

    Things I liked:

Nearly a perfect rifle, as far as I'm concerned. The walnut stock is quite nice. Not as picky about pellets as my other break barrels. So far it shots JSB exact kings,H&N Baracuda and polymags. Haven't mounted a scope yet, but I enjoy the open sights. Not much louder than my Ruger Impact. My first Hatsan and first .25 but won't be the last.

    Things I would have changed:

It seems like it'll be a great small game rifle, so why no sling mounts? That's really my only gripe.

    What others should know:

Eat your spinach before shooting. Cocking this gun takes a little more effort than a child, or smaller adult, may be able to muster.

    Things I would have changed:

Dismal scope needs upgrade which is expected.

Was surprised how much better the accuracy was compered to a previous purchase Remmy 725 Piece of excellence from big box retailer that I had returned to purchase this Hatsan 95. Great rifle!

Stock and barrel finish. It does seem like Hatsan put some emphasis on ascetics.

    Things I would have changed:

Lose the cheap scope and quality control... the trigger and safety function unreliably after half tin and completely locked-up after >150 pellets. I sure hope Pyramyd Air make its right.

    What others should know:

Hopefully a happy customer follow-up review to follow.

    Things I liked:

I love this gun. I'm fairly new to the air gun world but have been shooting all my life.I shot a couple hundred rounds with just the iron sights and it did fairly well. I checked and tightened all screws then installed the scope. Even with this cheap scope I was making good group's at 20 to 30 yards but the scope is really bad. I did some research and bought and installed a Riton fixed 1 x4x32. Wow. What a difference. 25 yards a tack driver. And this Hatsan isn't that fussy about pellets although the JSB Diablo Jumbo Heavy 18.13 gr I can depend on every shot. I'm getting about one in. group's at 40 yes but I'm out of JSBs right now so we'll see. You have to check out Riton Scopes. I paid $55 for the fixed scope and it has better glass than most $ 2, 3 hundred dollar scopes, comes with lifetime warranty and its tested at 12 Gs so a Springer won't hurt it. If this gun holds up I will be one happy camper.

    Things I would have changed:

Probably the only thing would be the weight. To get that accurate shot you have to be propped on something. Its extremely hard to free shoot standing and keeping it steady. Beautiful gun. Carrying it around isn't a problem but holding it steady is.

    What others should know:

Just make sure to check all bolts screws ect after 75 100 shots until you get everything loctite. I also had a problem getting my gun from FedEx. After it was shipped they originally said it would be here in 2 days but everydayat the end of the day I would get an email saying it would take another day. After 5 days of this I got up early Saturday morning and went to the FedEx warehouse and picked it up myself. Also, you cannot find a better air rifle for $200. Not that I've seen anyway.

Powerfull, accurate air rifle - when it works...

    Things I would have changed:

    Vortex piston needs improvement..

    What others should know:

I have had 2 of these rifles. I used them to reduce the rodent population on my property. The first one lasted 2 years during which time I put maybe 200 pellets through. During the 2nd year the charging system failed - the piston would not pressurize. I sent it back to Hatson for repair. They sent me a new rifle. 2 years later the new 95 has failed in exactly the same way. I could send the new one back, again, but why ? I think its time to move on to another product.

I haven't received my gun yet but super excited to get it. I got the .22 Vortex QE model. I had originally ordered that one but they were on backorder so I went ahead and ordered the QE model. That's the reason for this review. Customer service!!. I called to change my order and actually got through to a live person twice without a long wait. Changed my order. Very easy no hassle. The only negative so far is I qualify for 2 day free shipping and they charged me after changing my order. Emailed them and hopefully they will straighten it out . I have to say this. I felt with another company trying to by my Hatsan and there customer service was horrible so I cancelled my order . So far I'm very impressed with the professional services and cooperation with Pyramid. The best thing was being able to actually talk to a customer service representative without long waits. That is key in my book!!!

    Things I liked:

Nice wood grain, accurate and mostly well built.

    Things I would have changed:

I wish hatsan would sort out their bore sizing issues and up quality control a bit more.

    What others should know:

The first one I bought had low FPS. I don't know what caused it, under charged gas piston, breech seal, over sized bore. But there was a noticeable defect in that first rifle. In the silencer there are two chambers separated by a ring. In my original rifle the hole in that ring was small and a chunk missing from it. I sent that pack to PA and got a new one back. These rifles are nice but can be hit or miss. It pays to get the 10 shots for $10 test from PA or to chrony and accuracy test your rifle right out of the box to make sure it has the FPS it should (my .22 vortex QE is shooting 16,83 Grain pellets at an average of about 738 fps, it shoots heavy pellets faster for what ever reason) and to make sure your bore is not over sized ( you will know base on accuracy, we are talking 3 feet off at only 20 to 30 ft.

    Things I liked:

I have the QE version and its pretty quiet, backyard friendly for sure. What a beautiful walnut stock. Other companies are charging almost the price of this gun for a walnut stock upgrade of this quality. Better set up good backstop if your plinking in the yard because this rifle is a beast! Accuracy is very good, one inch groups @ 15yds,Thats the limit of my back yard shooting. The included scope is not great but its better than other budget bundled scopes you get with other rifles at this price range. The optics are fairly clear and so far holding zero since Installing the Hammers one piece scope mount. The safety is perfectly positioned as to where your thumb on your trigger hand pushes it in just before fireing. This has got to be one the best $200 rifles out there!

    Things I would have changed:

maybe offer the rifle with something like a BSA 2-7 scope and case package. This rifle is to nice to keep unprotected.

    What others should know:

If your like me and are use to shooting air guns with around 1/2 the velocity ,please make sure you beef up your traps and backstop especially if neighbors are close by. A picket fence will not stop a pellet at 1000fps.

    Things I liked:

I can hone my shooting skills cheaply in the back yard. For the price I think it's hard to beat. With head shots I feel it would take a raccoon. With no changes to the rifle other than adjusting the scope I got 1 inch groups at 30 yards. The scope is the first thing I'd change and will change with the rifle as it is nothing to write home about. I have not adjusted the trigger yet but love the fact that I can. It's definitely feels like an adult rifle. Love the fact that it goes to safety after you cock it.

    Things I would have changed:

The scope. However at this price you're getting a great rifle.

    What others should know:

I own over 30 high power smokeless rifles from 22-250 all the way up to 375 H and H magnum. I have hunted most of my life. For air guns I use to own a old PowerLine 880 which was a good gun. I also use to own a newer 880 which is garbage. If you've got $200 and the strength to break the barrel, this is a fantastic buy.

    Things I liked:

First things first, it's a beautiful rifle. I love the stock, it has a great feel to it. Really impressed with the accuracy. I bought the rifle to replace an older .177 Gamo. I wanted something to dispatch squirrels a little more humanely. This in .22 fits the purpose. I solved my squirrel problem but created a pellet gun problem. Great gun to shoot, crazy accurate with Hatsan Vortex pellets also likes the JSB Jumbo RS and I've been using the JSB Hades for killing stuff with really good results. A great gun for the price.

    Things I would have changed:

The scope could be better or offer the rifle without the scope package, the scope is adequate but you could do better.

    What others should know:

You can't go wrong with this air rifle.

    Things I liked:

The Turkish Walnut stock is very nice, it feels and looks good. This is a solid, good-looking, walnut and steel gun, no polymer. The QE sound reduction is VERY nice, because it makes this magnum springer much easier on the ears and more "backyard friendly". The big, fat barrel end is a good grip for cocking. I like the power. It is a strong shooter, but not so powerful that it ruins accuracy. Mine is in .177 and it hits pretty hard, 8.44gr JSB domes gave me around 15.3 foot pounds energy.

    Things I would have changed:

Just leave the scope off, it's junk. I would change the industry concept of bundling a cheap junk scope with air guns, to providing a better one for the exact same cost.

    What others should know:

This gun is hard to cock. After your 30th shot, you realize this. The Quattro trigger is a good, 2-stage trigger, but the pull weight is still hefty, even when adjusted to the minimum. This makes the gun safer to use, but makes precision shooting more challenging.
