    Things I liked:

I like the idea of the removable air cylinders. That opens up more options for hunting being able to swap out the low tank for a fresh one.

    Things I would have changed:

The QE system is a good thought but not completely efficient in the big bore airguns. So I bought a moderator that mounts on the end of that QE shroud to silence the bark from this big dog. The QE shroud doesn't line up on my rifle well and when I fired it the pellet was clipping so bad that it completely fragmented inside the moderator. I tried everything to get it to line up and ended up removing the QE shroud completely and just using the moderator on the bare barrel. Once that QE shroud was removed, my accuracy improved significantly. I am not sure if the shroud was beaten up during shipping or what, but wouldn't work with it on.

    What others should know:

Unless you want the big bore, the bt65 with a moderator will work just fine. The moderator will work much better than the QE shroud to drop the decibels from the shot.

    Things I liked:

This is the quietest air gun I have ever used. The accuracy rivals that of 177 or 22s. But it is big enough for hunting and not lose wounded game. The number of shots between fills is good too. Overall this is probably my best. And I have 8.

    Things I would have changed:

The only thing I would change is the automatic safety. And I may figure out how to change that yet. But when I am shooting I don't need the safety coming on every time I cycle the action.

    What others should know:

This gun is rather heavy so it would not be one for junior or even very senior hunters who might have trouble lugging it around.

    Things I liked:

Caliber, real power, looks, weight, feel. It's a beast. Durable synthetic stock. Adjustable butt pad makes it shoulder really well. Everything functions as advertised. Happy with purchase. I give value for money 4 stars because I always want to spend less, don't we all?

    Things I would have changed:

Would like a manual safety to get 2nd shot more quickly, but it's fine. It is a good safety feature for those who might forget that it's loaded. It happens

    What others should know:

Limited selection of pellets at larger calibers. So stock up and get to shootin'

This gun has a ton of power.

    Things I would have changed:

Quality control. Hatsan guns are a great price but you need to know how to assemble them so you can fix quality issues which many of them have. Once fixed they are a great buy, but if your a novice the quality can drive you away from this sport.

    What others should know:

My bolt was stiff and I had many problems cycling the magazine. I had to disassemble the gun and straighten out a piece on the bolt that kept getting stuck. I then applied brake grease to the bolt and it works like a charm. These are simple fixes that Hatsan could do to make this rifle 10 times better out of the box.

Extremely accurate .30 cal 14 rounds of 50.15gr through 3 ragged holes with a 3/4" spread at 50 yards. And will go straight through half inch plywood at 50 yards very quiet

    Things I would have changed:

Finish could be better 4 price

    Things I liked:

I HAVE HAD MY .30 CAL. A FEW MONTHS NOW AND I AM SO GLAD I BOUGHT IT OVER THE OTHER HIGH DOLLAR .30s I WAS LOOKING AT. MINE IS CRONNING AT 940+ WITH THE 44.7 GRAIN RNDS AND IT WILL HOLD UNDER 1 INCH GROUPS FROM THE BENCH AT 100 YARDS. I GET 20 TO 21 SHOTS BEFORE IT DROPS BELOW 900 FPS. OUT OF THE BOX IT WAS ALMOST AS GOOD COMING IN AT 900 FPS FOR A HIGH DOWN TO AROUND 840 FPS AFTER 21 SHOTS. THE TRIGGER WHILE NOT WHAT I WOULD CALL A MATCH SET UP IS VERY GOOD. THE MODERATOR WORK PRETTY WELL DOING THE JOB OF KEEPING THE NOISE DOWN AND I WOULD SAY MINE IS BACK YARD FRIENDLY. THIS IS A VERY VERY GOOD RIFLE AT A VERY GOOD PRICE! DON'T BE AFRAID TO STEP UP TO THIS ONE IF YOU'RE LOOKING FOR A .30 CAL. THIS IS A ROCK SOILED RIFLE WITH SOME OUTSTANDING PRFORMANCE AND ROOM FOR PERSONEL TWEEKING IF YOU LIKE DOING THAT.

    Things I would have changed:

THE PLACEMENT OF THE AUTO SAFETY SUCKS FOR ME AND I MUCH PREFER A MANUAL OVER THE AUTO SAFETY. IT IS ON THE LEFT HAND SIDE TOP REAR AND JUST PLAIN DISRUPTIVE TO QUICK FOLLOW UP SHOTS. THE AT-44 HATSAN WHICH I HAVE IS PLACED CENTER REAR AND IS A QUICK THUMB PUSH TO OFF WHICH IS AS GOOD AS IT GETS FOR THE QUICK AND EASY ACCESS OF AN AUTO SAFETY. WITH A GOOD SCOPE THE RIFLE IS A BIT HEAVY MINE IS NEARLY 11 POUNDS WITH SCOPE. SHAVING OFF A FEW POUNDS WOULD REALLY BE NICE. THE BOLT ACTION IS OK BUT THE SIDELEVER LIKE HATSAN USES ON THE AT-44 IS OUTSTANDING AND VERY SMOOTH AND FAST. OFFER A WOOD STOCK! THE STOCK IS OK BUT ALOT OF US JUST LIKE WOOD. I'LL BE MAKING ONE FOR MINE THIS WINTER!

    What others should know:

MY RIFLE WAS A GIFT FROM MY WIFE AND I CAN ONLY ASSUME SHE BOUGHT IT FROM P/A AFTER SEEING MY HINTS LEFT AROUND THE HOUSE IN EARLY APRIL 2016. MY RIFLE HAD A VERY STIFF BOLT FOR THE FIRST 50 OR SO USES, SO MUCH SO THAT I ALMOST GAVE UP ON IT. IT HAS GOTTON ALOT BETTER AND CONTINUES TO IMPROVE. I FOUND THAT A MIN. AMOUNT OF GUN OIL TO THE LOWER END OF THE BOLT HELPED BUT IT WAS STILL VERY HARD TO COCK. MY RIFLE TO DATE HAS HAD ONLY ABOUT 1200 RND.S SHOT THROUGH IT. IT IS BIT PRICEY FOR THE PELLETS AT 16 BUCKS A TIN. SO I DON'T SHOOT IT AS MUCH AS I DO MY OTHER RIFLES IN LESSER CAL.S THAT BEING SAID THIS RIFLE IS VERY POWERFUL WITH THE RANGE TO TAKE MOST ANYTHING YOU MIGHT HUNT WITH A .22 LONG RIFLE. I HAVE TAKEN VERMIN WITH MY RIFLE UP TO 200 YARDS. MY RIFLE IS A KEEPER A BIT ON THE HEAVY SIDE BUT I REALLY THINK IT IS THE BEST .30 CAL. FOR THE MONEY OUT THERE RIGHT NOW!

    Things I liked:

I really like this gun,I have the .25cal version then I decided to go Bigger! Plenty power even at the FPS noted on the specs after.I tuned it a little bit and tightened up the hammer spring it's shooting around 753fps(fastest chrony shot) with Jsb .35cal pellets and around the same with hatsan vortex pellets.Makes a loud wapp!!!sound when it hits a black crow from around 50-60 yards without a miss!!accurate..

    Things I would have changed:

Wish it would shoot faster out of the box at least 150 to 200 fps more for energy at a greater distance out to 100 yards. if they would put a side lever to make cocking easier.Mine only shoots the JSB Exact .35cal pellets and Hatsan Vortex .35cal pellets..All others get stuck the barrel. evens other pellets that fit the magazine ok, They still get stuck.I don't know why?, but I plan to get ahold of Hatsan and ask them the same question.

    What others should know:

Buy this airgun. worth the price I paid for. Plan to use only JSB or Hatsan pellets. in which I think they are made from the same factory because I weighed them and sized them up. They are exactly the same in all aspects.

    Things I liked:

    Highly accurate after 60 yards

    Things I would have changed:

More power.it experiences drop after 40yards though I still can hit a jack rabit out to 90.the bolts tough though it loosens up after a while. This gun is a little overrated though it's a nice air gun for your buck. Saw some of the best air gun reviewers talk highly about this gun and then I bought it and it wasn't what they said they were talking you could hit stuff out to a hundred and fifty yards this going to experience drop way too early for that they say you could tune it but at least the way they send it it's got poor power atleast for calling it a big bore rifle instead it's a great rabbit and squirrel gun..

    What others should know:

Want a real airgun? Try a Benjamin bulldog. Had mine for a couple years now n with the Nosler tip it never fails me. Only can kill up to coyote in California with it but there strong. I own a hatsan 22,a bt65 30 cal,a texan 45 n I'm still in love with my Benjamin

    Things I liked:

This gun is an accuracy monster. Out of the box it was grouping just at 1 inch at 100 yards. I have hit a few varmints with it and there is no mistaken that this is a .30 cal. It is a bit on the heavy side, especially with my Hawke riding on top, but hey, I need the exercise anyway, so I do not mind. For the money, this cannot be beaten.

    Things I would have changed:

Change the side bolt to a lever action. It would be much smoother.

    What others should know:

Do not hesitate to buy this rifle.

Improved clip design. Easier to cock than previous versions. 18 shots per fill (12 max - 6 declining). Not as heavy as you would think. Sturdy design.

    Things I would have changed:

    Nothing

    What others should know:

Hatsan really provides a great rifle at an affordable price. Power, accuracy, affordability.. what more can you sk for? This rifle is amazing. I still have to see how durable the O-rings are, etc but so far I've shot no less than 400 shots. Grouping is incredible. Even with winds up to 10 miles per hour I can shoot a 1 inch group at 50 yards and have shot groups of 1 inch at 100 yards consistently on days with no wind. Powerful and QUIET considering the caliber. I have .25 and .22 caliber Benjamin Marauders, .25 Cal Hatsan AT44QE.

    Things I liked:

Almost no recoil, very quiet, very powerful

    Things I would have changed:

Bolt action stiff - is an understatement. I am not a weak man, but i had to push down that pellet and it was not getting any easier. Combined with the scope - it left me a very narrow gap to push so it was a bad and still bad experience. Air cylinder started to leak air from the charging port after 50 shots. Have to either repair or replace, but costly replacement makes this rifle unusable if cylinder has that kind of longetivity. Had to replace the o ring on the charger attachement, old one broke almost immideately.

    What others should know:

It is not a rifle for beginners for sure. New owner must use it extensively within a month so if it breaks - return it to avoid conversation with manufacturer.

    Things I liked:

I have the .30 cal and I like is the shot count. I get easily three mags out of each charge with no loss in accuracy. I've not had it long nor had time to really test the accuracy but first impressions are encouraging. 50 yards i'm getting 1 inch. Looking forward to testing it out to 75 and 100 yards. The detachable air supply is brilliant and I ordered a second with the gun and now i have another on order. Very easy to fill and they simply screw into the gun, no loss of pressure in the process. Fully adjustable stock which is easy to do. The gun comes with some spare o rings and the like. Hope i don't have to use these too soon The trigger is fantastic, easy and predictable. Coupled with zero recoil, make this gun so easy to use.

    Things I would have changed:

The bolt action is stiff, as I knew it would be from previous reviews, but still, Hatsan should address this in future updates. I look forward to getting passed the break in period when the gun will not fight me every time i cycle the bolt. The fit and finish of the composite stock is ok, not great. I had a seam line which with a little work I removed. Not the end of the world i know but... I would have liked to have the option to buy this gun with a wooden stock. If they brought one out, I'd seriously consider buying that one too. The safety is engaged automatically when cycling the bolt, which I like. The actual sliding safety with however, feels very loose with a lot of play in the action. Maybe its just my gun, I don't know. Instruction/Information manual. What is sent is laughable and not specific to the 'carnivore'. Best option is go on line and google Lastly, the location of the pressure gauge means you have to stare down the barrel of the gun. Not something I'm comfortable with

    What others should know:

This thing is not a toy. It has serious power and needs to be treated with respect. Though shrouded, it is louder than I'd be comfortable with shooting in my back yard. At 10 yards, JSB Exacts go through a 2X4 and deep into the second i had as a back stop. So put something substantial behind your target Overall, I'm very happy with the Hatsan Carnivore and for the money, I think it corners the market

    Things I liked:

I liked The price and the power.

    Things I would have changed:

Everything else was disgusting. The bolt is so stiff, I had to wrap a belt around it, brace it against the ground, and jerk the hell out of it. I felt like the squirrels and rabbits were just laughing at me when I tried to cock my gun. After skinning my knuckles and bruising my hands , the accuracy was about 2" c-t-c at 30 yards. It was absolutely no fun to shoot.

    What others should know:

The noise is too loud and the silencer is a bad joke. It muffles the air escaping and it replaces that noise with a loud noise that sounds like a bucket of bolts being slammed against a metal flag pole.

This is an awesome rifle I have shot it and it is all I expected it to be. It is accurate with the leapers scope I purchased for it.I am going wild hog hunting next year and this what I going hunt with.

    Things I would have changed:

I would have preferred a wooden stock but the gun preforms great with the synthetic stock.

    What others should know:

    Things I liked:

Wow!! Where to begin..I purchased this rifle in 357cal and I absolutely love it. No questions asked it hits hard really hard with authority, accuracy is outstanding at 50 yds and 75 yds I get about 1/2 group at 50 and about 1inch at 75 yards 12shots dead on at max fill..I personally LOVE how hard it hits and how QUIET it is..jsb pellets is all I use..I would recommend this rifle to any one who wants a hard hitting accurate rifle I love it ...it exceeded all my expectations of a true hunting air rifle ..very accurate..no questions asked I would recommend this rifle to any one that has a question or hesitant on reading reviews it's what you want..I purchased this rifle on Rick eustler from air gun web recommendation.I was hesitant due to lack of FPS (I wanted more velocity) I was wrong this hatsan BT65QE is a BEAST a real hard hitting accurate accurate rifle..thanks to Rick eustler for providing me with the confidence and real information about this rifle..thanksRick

    Things I would have changed:

Maybe make a left handed version..and give me the same accuracy and silence WITH 200FPS more...I'm sorry I feel the need to express this..however the power is awesome..but but pushing 1000fps in 357 would make me feel all warm and fuzzy

    What others should know:

It hits HARD!! It's very accurate and a dream to shoot super super Quiet it's a 50 to 75 yd gun the bolt action takes a few seconds to get used only reason I didn't give it 5stars and not being left handed besides that its a winner..

    Things I liked:

Well made. I like the improvements they added to the stock. I also have the hatsan AT-44 22 quiet energy. The Hatsan Big Bore stock has a adjustable cheek height and but length is also adjustable now. They also inlaid some kind of rubber for better nonslip grip in the appropriate places. The steel shafts that are connected to the cheek and but of stock for adjusting are chrome plated and overkill in strength. The big bore just came out so I don't know how another reviewer could claim some kind of rust was oozing out the back. They have not been out long enough to rust and they are chromed so rusting is unlikely ever. The rifle is very quiet. You could shoot this in your back yard (if you had a safe area with a backstop) with close by neighbors and they would not hear it. The 22 version is almost silent by comparison. The Big Bore sound is a air sound it does not sound like a gun shot in any way. I like the removable air cylinders. Just switch cyl and keep shooting. Continued below

    Things I would have changed:

Can't use round ball amo or Benjamin Nosler Ballistic Tip eXTREME amo (too long) I wish mt Hatsan QE 22 had the same upgraded stock and thicker air cylinder that the Big Bore has so I could swap the air cylinders between the two. That's a thing to change on the 22 version the Big Bore is perfect as it is. It only takes about 4 minutes to pump up the cyl with a hill pump. Ran out of room so I wrote here. I really like this air gun.

    What others should know:

It was 5 degrees out when I tested it. I have not shot it much yet. I found that you have to fully flush seat the pellets in the mag or you will have problems cycling the magazine. I added bkl 4" picatinny rail to top and mounted a eotech exps3-4 with 3x magnifier with quick release mount. It was zeroed at 50 yards on the Hatsan 22. At 50 yards without any changes it was very close to zero. It was to cold to set up paper target and fully test. At 50 yards my 22 is dead on tack driver. It appears the Big Bore is the same. I At 50 yards with jsb diablo 81.02 grains it almost punches through a 55 gal steel drum. It mushrooms out on impact to almost dime size and pushes the area in about1/4 inch. With second clip I tried the H&N Grizzly pellets that look more like a bullet. They just fit the clip and are quite a bit longer than the JSB pellets and almost the same weight. 2 of the 6 rounds went right through the 55 gal drum but not out the other side. Only takes skirted amo. No round balls
