Things I liked:

Feel, Quality, Accuracy!

Things I would have changed:

Are you kidding me? This thing is as close to perfect as it can get!

What others should know:

This is my first PCP, first Hatsan and first .25 cal pellet rifle. I'm 49 and have stuck to pumpers (and a very few springers) my whole life, .22 mainly. I always thought the PCP option was silly and a waste of time just to get ready to even shoot the thing. After all, with a pumper you had full control of power and the speed of just a few pumps to get ready for a shot, why waste the time to pump up a PCP for just a few shots, then spend another 5-10 mins repumping it? Well... as I have now found out, if you want critter control, very quick follow-up shots, PCP is the ONLY way to go. By the gods this rifle is fantastic! Hard hitting and the heavy .25 cal pellet crosses the chrony at an average of 1100 f.p.s.! I get 27 shots (3 full mags) before the f.p.s. drops to around 900. So should you wait till mid-life to try one of these things out? I wouldn't if given a redo! Fun to shoot, hard hitting and accurate, what more do you want? Hatsan for life now!

Things I liked:

It is a multi shot. It shots real well, my son likes it better than other guns because it is a multi shot. It is pretty accurate, but I find it is not as accurate as my other guns

Things I would have changed:

It is just TOO heavy. take some weight off. The air fill probe is a one of a kind, make it standard with the rest of the world.

What others should know:

The gun is useless with out a fill probe. I normally do reviews, but my experience with Hatsan has brought me to this. My fill probe has been lost, and I have not been able to replace it. It seems the only way to get one is from Hatsan, good luck with that. I have summited a support form and have received no response. I have called a couple of times and they have called back when I was not at home. Trying to get something out of Hatsan is worse than going to the dentist.

    Things I liked:

Power and accuracy. Crossman 14.3 pelltes will stack with this gun. Only problem with these pellets is speed. They are going supersonic which makes the gun loud. The. 18 gr from jsb is what I shoot to slow it down and makes it a little bit more quiet.

    Things I would have changed:

The auto safety is not needed and the wieght. She's a fat girl for sure.

    What others should know:

Dont do what I did, and put a 23 ounce scope on it.

    Things I liked:

The gun as a whole is perfect...no qualms with accur8 or power!!!

    Things I would have changed:

Since i had neck surgery...that 9(+) lbs of weight plus 2(+) lbs for the scope and rings is absolutely to heavy for me in all situations perceived and i would love to sale it or trade it for another PCP that is lighter and/ or has the POWER compasity that my BT65 has!!!

    What others should know:

Needs a way to integrate a better muzzle suppressor on it...

    Things I liked:

Nothing to be brutally honest maybe the pistol grip. Accuracy was terrible 30yards was about 2 1/2 inches tried 100 yards and the pellets wouldn't hit within 2 feet of each other. My gamo magnum out performed the bt65 which was insulting due to it being over twice the price. Let's take a minute and talk about the quality control the magazine that was shipped inside the runs chamber was crushed to the point where it was unusable

    Things I would have changed:

The so called dual safety... It's only an automatic and its in the worst Location for right handed shooters follow up shot r basically impossible. The anti double feeding mechanism just didn't work ended up having to leave the range due to that.

    What others should know:

This gun may very well be an excellent gun but the one I got just wasn't

    Things I liked:

I love it all. It's a track driver for sure. I'm able to make one hole at 50 yards. H&N crow magnum, JSB match diabolo king .25, and the king heavy shot super! Using the mk4 pump it takes about 120 pumps to fill back up if you start at the 200 bar and shot 3 mags 27 shots.

    Things I would have changed:

Make a thicker magazine for longer pellets.

    What others should know:

Predator polymag and Eujin pointed are both too long of pellets to seat properly and so are not super accurate after about 35 yards.

Lots and lots of power!! Hard sights are awesome, don't want to install a scope (yet) Love the fact that there is no recoil effect. Hatsan makes a very good quality product!!! Worth the cost!

    Things I would have changed:

Provide same model with sound suppressor and with hard fixed sight and you will own almost a perfect air rifle!!

    What others should know:

    It's LOUD!

    Things I liked:

I bought the rifle in March 2016. The $ 699 price is very low for what you get. Rifle VERY !!! customs. At a distance of 40 yards does CTC 1/2 inch. As a comparison I will say that I have a Walther LG300 Hunter ($ 1,300) and chatsan in anything he does not dissipates. I am very happy with this Hatsan.

    Things I would have changed:

The only thing to it I bought a pressure regulator.

    What others should know:

    Heavy, loud, and very accurate.

    Things I liked:

Everything that was described in previous reviews right on the money. Excellent air rifle, functions as advertised. I like the open sights, but even better with the UTG 4-16x44 scope that I got. Nice grouping (about 2 to 2-1/2 inches at 50yrds, with bi-pod & braced & JSB Match Diabolos). Waiting for the stripper to arrive to see if there is an improvement on my grouping.

    Things I would have changed:

Bolt is a little stiff, would be nice it Hatsan could loosen it up a bit. Maybe it will after a few hundred rounds through it, I hope.

    What others should know:

If you use the Venturi G6 hand pump, expect a little work out if you have to pump up a very low air reservoir. If you add a lot of options to the rifle (scope, bi-pod, Light, laser, etc..) expect it to become a little heavy, being that the rifle is already over 9 pounds to start with. Also, I would advise getting the CenterPoint Laser Boresighter to make it easier to sight in the scope.

    Things I liked:

The rifle packs a pleasant punch. To say it is Accurate is an under statement, I shoot at 25 yards without stand and keep a tight cluster with max hollow points. Up to 50 yards I use a stand rounded pellets to maintain a two inch group. The air tank is great and easy toswap a spare in on a run. Tanks are easy to fill with hand pump.

    Things I would have changed:

The weight is a slight heavy. To stop shocking waiting g for. That perfect shoot I had to use a single leg stand.

    What others should know:

For more time out shooting highly recommend get a extra air tank and 3 clips.

    Things I liked:

This is a VERY powerful PCP rifle, and not for the faint of heart. It comes with three magazines, misc. tools, misc. extra "O" rings and accessories, among which is sling and hard case. Built in rails, sling rings, and open sights are very nice standard equipment. The ability to adjust the butt stock features makes for a custom fit to the user. Pellet speed can break the sound barrier, when lighter pellets are used, which makes for a loud crack. That doesn't bother me, as I have other, quieter guns to use for backyard shooting. This is a hunting gun, and all my other hunting firearms make noise, so I'm used to hunting with guns that offer a loud report. If I wanted a quiet gun, I would have purchased a Hatsan gun with similar features from the QE series.

    Things I would have changed:

If possible, taking off some weight (about two pounds) would enhance this gun immensely. As well as being powerful, Hatsan air rifles have a reputation for being heavy! Making the safety optional for automatic, or manual, setting would allow the user to make that decision. Replacing the side bolt with a Olympic style cocking lever would make it easier to cycle and allow for faster cocking, and quicker follow up shots - not to mention smoother and more comfortable function. The hard case that comes with the rifle is tight fitting, and even the addition of a air stripper will not allow the rifle to fit in the case. It probably wouldn't cost any more to stretch the case a bit? The sling rings could be a bit wider, allowing for more versatility in choice of slings. QD mounts could be part of the gun, instead of the small, non removable, Euro style rings that are used. The sling is cheaply made, has a two sided Hatsan logo, and seems mainly for commercial promotion, rather than function.

    What others should know:

This gun was designed for open sight use. DON'T BUY IT if your immediate plan is to scope it! PCP guns having open sights are scarce to find, but sightless guns are everywhere. The Hatsan QE series of PCP air guns do not come with open sights. That's what you should be looking at, not this gun! Basically, all the internals are the same, and you won't be forced to buy the open sights when you don't intend to use them anyway! Scoping this gun should only be considered if you damage the open sights, and need that scope to make the gun function. Use those great open sights for fast sighting hunting purposes, and you won't be spending money for a scope and high mount rings to clear the open sights. Scopes almost always slow down target acquisition and who needs that in a hunting situation? If you want a great, powerful, open sighted, hunting air rifle, and can handle the weight, this is it! Otherwise, buy something else that better meets your requirements.

This rifle is an absolute beast. It is amazingly powerful and accurate, especially in .25 caliber. I am extremely happy with this purchase. I also have a Hatsan AT44-10 QE in .22 cal and that is a great rifle as well. However this one...all I can say is wow. Get one!!

This gun is one of the most powerful airguns out of bix that i have seen. It is very accurate. I can shoot Keurig empty K-cups at 75 yards all day long. This would make an amazing long range hunting gun. I have not took it hunting yet but i plan on it soon. I think this would also make an excellent predator hunting gun also. I got this for my fourteen year old, he can carry it around really good. Rhe gun is pretty heavy though

    Things I would have changed:

The bolt is pretty stiff; but im fine with it. It is preetty heavy but im fine with it

    What others should know:

This gun is VERY powerful in all calibers specifically .25. I have the utg 4-16-44 swat scope and i had ti get new rings because my POI was low and the turret was maxed out. Instead of shimming your scope with alluminum cans you should try using electrical tape

    Things I liked:

This is a nice PCP rifle it has a synthetic stock that has a good grip and looks really cool. The trigger, cheek and rear stock pad are all adjustable to fit any size shooter. There is also three ten shot magazines included so you get quite a few shots before having to reload and exchanging the magazine is simple and quick. I have found this rifle to be very accurate and I like that the safety is activated automatically when you pull the bolt back to chamber the next pellet.

    Things I would have changed:

The only two things that I can think of are.. 1)It is a heavy rifle to shoot off hand for a long period. 2)It has a loud record and may not be neighbor friendly if you have a small backyard.

    What others should know:

The rifle came with a bundle that had a sling, bipod and a nice 3-9X40 scope that has clear optics and a wide field of view. I get about forty usable shots per tank fill up so you are not constantly having to stop and refill the air supply. Although the rifle is on the heavy side it is nicely balanced.

Everything!!! The style! The power! The bolt action. The clips. The rails. The adjustable stocks. I just love this gun, it is very comfortable and very powerful, I can carry around my extra tank and be good for plenty of shots. I do not hunt but I would bet this would take down plenty. ....i added a nice powerful light and a laser and bipod. Very fun

    Things I would have changed:

I can't think of anything, maybe the clip more internal, than again I kind of like seeing the type of pellets I have loaded.

    What others should know:

This gun is great. Buy it, you will NOT be disappointed . I would buy the extra tank as well. Unless you own a scuba tank.

    Things I would have changed:

the sling I am sorting but it will be a fixture full time as I need a third arm at times

    What others should know:

I am now shooting at 65meters at a 1" tube and oh yes we are hitting it but not very time so I am going for a big clean and I am also going to be cleaning the pellets as well as I am sure this gun is better than me. so the idea is when all clean. I will be going for a 100mtrs and then 200mtrs but maybe not at a 1"tube, a fizzy drinks can would be good. but still having trouble sourcing pellets i.e.jbs etc but this is Europe. happy days all shoot safe. if I can do the above I will give the bt65 5stars

    Things I liked:

I love how it looks, trigger is pretty darn nice & I've managed to adjust it to break crisply around 1.75 lbs pull weight. 2 extra magazines and ability to adjust it to one's liking is another big plus. My package was supplied with an optima 4-12x44 AO mil-dot scope (didn't buy from PA) and a flashlight which works so great out to 50 yards in the night. The scope is also decent but I changed it later to mount a BSA tactical mim-mil side-focus scope. The extra accessory rails is also a plus. It needed to be broken in and now shoots very accurately. Mine is .22 cal and it loves the JSB 18.1 grain pellets. 2nd best pellets are JSB 15.9 gr and H&N Barracuda Match. Awesome knockdown, very power airgun.

    Things I would have changed:

Weight & Loudness .. One needs to have a moderator to quiet it down, Hatsan needs to slash 1-2 lbs as it becomes tiresome to carry in the field when scope is mounted.

    What others should know:

I chronied and got some astonishing muzzle energy results. JSB 18 gr shot at an avg 45 fpe. Barracuda match shot at 47 fpe avg and JSB 25.4 gr pellets shot at an avg of 50 fpe at the muzzle. Sadly the 25.4 gr JSB weren't as accurate as JSB heavies or Barracuda match but at under 40 yards the JSB monsters will easily bring down crow/pigeon size target. For longer shots (up to 70-80 yards) I rely on JSB 18 gr pellets, they constantly produce 1/2 inch groups at 50 yards if I do my part. After over 2000 pellets, the JSB 18 gr still shoot at ~45 fpe. I cleaned the barrel using JB bore paste and it surely did improve results. I highly recommend this airgun given the sheer value for money.
