Things I liked:

ease of uses cocking arm is strong and build to last as long as the rifle. out of the box with the quick connect foster fitting (female) to aid the easy the filling or the 580cc corban bottle with out using a pair of flat head screw drivers to remove the fitting from fill port. fill gage is nicely located to see fill with out having to look to far. the feel of the rifle reminds me or an AR style rifle that I know so well with a very nice finish and amazing feel a great rifle all around.

Things I would have changed:

open the reg system up to a way more adjustable style to replace the one two three for the power block, add a better buttstock as in a four way adjustable way, and a longer pic rail on the lower of the rifle with barrel band this pcp would dominate the competition

What others should know:

when you think you done cleaning the barrel your not it took me two days the barrel was bent or just bad before I cleaned the barrel again for a second time (I took a .30 cal brash and mop to clean the barrel the rifle shot on point after that), but do not uses under a 17 gr pellet and the slugs that are under .217 will not shoot right thro the barrel. key tip 17 gr are the lowest weight pellet that i found work on the low setting and no hammer tension.

Things I liked:

Nothing

Things I would have changed:

The gun should have been quality checked at the factory.

What others should know:

The gun would not cock when received The gun was not functional. Could not fill with air, load or shoot. The cocking lever stopped at 90 degrees, would not go any farther to the rear. Little or no help from Pyramid air. Real nightmare.

    Things I liked:

Great price, great functionality, smooth cocking lever, high capacity, a lot of power with .25 cal and it take down varmints with ease.

    Things I would have changed:

The only thing I wish it had was a pressure gauge that included both PSI and BAR readings. The gage only reads in BAR. Minor nuisance.

    What others should know:

It is a really good PCP rifle at this price point. Have owned this Hatsan model for almost 2 years now and have not had issues, failures or problems of any kind.

    Things I liked:

Accuracy, looks. Adjustability. Love the rifle.

    Things I would have changed:

It would come with a moderator.

    What others should know:

The rifle was a little inconsistent when I first received it. 1500 round later, it is a tac driver. Not pellet fussy on high speed, but on low speed, only the jsb rs (13.4) would group well, but only on power level 1. They are too light for medium or higher speeds. The rifle is loud, I added a moderator, super quiet now. Mine arrived with the regulator set at 180. I adjusted the regulator to about 130. Power level 1, hammer spring set at about the second line. Pushing the jsb rs, to just over 10 foot pounds. Perfect for killing squirrels and rabbits, out to 25 yards. Limiting my power to limit my liability. I mostly hunt in neighborhoods. Housing addition.

This is adding to my earlier reviews. Accuracy & adjustments. Great trigger.

    Things I would have changed:

Fill cap for "foster type " fitting.

    What others should know:

AV cap for fill port dos not fit w/o some honing inside the cap. I think a cap should be a standard item on ALL guns of this "foster type".

    Things I liked:

Minimalist design chassis gun. Very accurate and the lever action is ergonomic and easy to cock the gun.

    Things I would have changed:

I love the foster fitting on an import gun. Every gun should have foster quick connect. The bottle pressure is on the side rather than the business end of the gun as Hatsan traditionally designs. However its recessed into the bottle shroud which means you'll have to use the supplied female quick connect on your compressor, You simply cannot remove a standard quick connect with pout mechanical assistance. The mnaul does not give any indication of what the minimum or maximum pressure of the external regualtor is when turned all the way up or down. Id like to know how many turns gives a specific change in pressure. Turned all the way open IM looking at ~200 bar on the external reg. It was shipped at about 140-150. The Hatsan Website gives the FPE/FPS at shots fired with reg set at 140 bar. They rate maximum hammer spring and power setting 3 on the power port adjuster at 33.5 fpe. Very low for a 25. The type of pellet used is not disclosed. Ide like to see a matrix from Hatsan indicating

    What others should know:

INn pre release promotions the gun is shown as coming with hard case and a plastic foregrip/bipod. The gun does not ship to the USA like that. It comes in a cardboard bvox with egg crate foam and previous tools from promotional videos. NO CASE, NO FOREGRIP.

    Things I liked:

This PCP rifle is probably one of the best air rifles for the money you can get. There is much to say about what I like... 1. Superb design 2. Smooth as butter side charging lever 3. Ridiculously accurate 4. High shot count per fill 5. Packs a lot of power and punch 5. Highly adjustable and tunable right out of the box 6. Very light weight and somewhat compact 7. Instantly removable air tank, no tools needed 8. Comes with picattiny rail on top for optics and one on bottom for bipod 9. Threaded, shrouded barrel 10. Dual pressure gauges, one for air reservoir, one for the rifle itself 11. High capacity carbon fiber air reservoir 12. Comes with single shot tray and 2 high capacity rotary pellet magazines 13. It uses interchangeable AR style grip and buttstock which allow for a wide configuration 14. The charging side lever is ambidextrous and can be easily switched 15. This air rifle looks quality and it performs quality.

    Things I would have changed:

There are a couple of things I would change or improve upon... 1. The air fill valve does not come with a dust / debris cover which leaves the fill valve open to contamination. This can be fixed by making a dust cover out of anything that fits around the valve snugly... 2. This PCP rifle also comes with its own separate female Foster fitting which has a very wide release coupling so that this valve can be easily removed from the air fill valve since the air fill valve on this rifle is slightly receded inside a protective shroud. You can opt to replace any female Foster valve on your air filling equipment that has a narrow release coupling with the wide release Foster valve included with this rifle, or you can do what I do which is to use a pair of needle nose pliers to pull on and release the narrow ring coupling on a female Foster valve after the air pressure on the rifle is full and the line pressure is released, which is a bit unusual but easy to do. This may not work in all cases!

    What others should know:

I love this air rifle... it is far less expensive than many high quality PCP rifles but it performs in close comparison to many more expensive PCP rifles out there. Also, the .25 caliber version of this rifle does pack a lot more punch than the .22 caliber version of this rifle, which is to be expected.

    Things I liked:

At this point I have only fired around 50 shots indoors at 10 yards. Not using anything special, .22 Crosman HP 14.3 gr. On the highest setting, getting an average muzzle velocity ~912 fps. That works out to 26.4 fpe, a bit less than the 29.5 fpe specified for the rifle. Maybe a little heavier pellet at a slightly slower velocity will generate greater fpe, don't know yet. The last 10 rounds fired did group through the same hole so accuracy seems promising. Overall feel and build of the rifle is good. I have only fired 50 shots so I haven't challenged the stated shot count, but with 50 shots fired the regulator pressure stayed fixed, the tank pressure still looked good and my shot string had an extreme spread of 23 fps with a standard deviation 5fps. Again, only 50 shots fired but looks good for now.

    Things I would have changed:

As mentioned in an earlier review, I also could not get any of my connectors to mate with the fill connection. In fact, even the quick disconnect connector provided by Hatsan would not mate to the fill connection. I should have just sent the rifle back to Pyramyd at that point but I just couldn't believe Hatsan's connector wouldn't fit their fill connection. So I fess up to muscling the connector and gave it a twist. The Hatsan connector still wouldn't go on the fill connection but I did inadvertently loosen the fill connection to the tank and heard the air escaping. I let the tank finish evacuating and removed the connection. Spent more than two hours hitting the fill connection with emery cloth and now have a fill connection that allows the connectors to mate. Still tight, but it's ok. I reinstalled the connector using teflon tape on the threads and a drop of blue loctite at the gasketed washer. Rifle fills fine and holds pressure.

    What others should know:

I contacted Pyramyd and told them I wasn't happy about having to kluge together a fix on a brand new rifle. I asked if I could just get a new fill connection/fill adapter that actually mate together properly so I could install it and have a rifle that works as expected. Also pointed out to them I had purchased the pre-ship 10 shot test at Pyramyd. Apparently they didn't need to fill the tank because they didn't pick up on the fill connection being a problem. So much for the testing. Bottom line is Pyramyd told me it was Hatsan's problem and gave me a contact email. Cannot recommend this rifle until Pyramyd/Hatsan resolve what is obviously a production issue. Finally, as the earlier reviewer, I also had to run 20 to 30 patches through the barrel before I stopped seeing rust on the patches. And BTW, you may have seen online reviews with a nice Hatsan rubberized carrying case. Not anymore, the rifle now just ships in a plain cardboard box, not even the cheaper Hatsan case.

    Things I liked:

I like the trigger and to me it is backyard friendly and it is light for me to hold.

    Things I would have changed:

Filling with air ,like one reviewer stated it impossible to fill with air the fill connection that comes with the gun will not go on the fill value, i tried different ones till i found a short one which i have to disconnect with a screw driver, come on now this is a new gun, i got it Saturday may 21 and monday i tried calling PA but no one answered the phone. Also the wheel know on the hammer adjuster will not turn ,likes its frozen,.

    What others should know:

The barrel was not dirty at all im hoping i didnt get someones return.

    Things I liked:

    Trigger adjusts easily

    Things I would have changed:

Fill connection. I could not connect to gun !! Tried my standard foster fitted hose for my Avengers ,but got only 100 bar & hose blew off gun because it didn't get to lock on properly. After fighting hose whip on by itself the quick disconnect is almost impossible to release w/out prying it gently loose w/a small screw driver gradually while keeping tension on the hose.( almost need two people for that trick !) The supplied female fitting is rough to touch and won't function at all. Gripe #2 , the safety cutout in the receiver will draw blood !! Sharp corner at the rear (on safe end).

    What others should know:

I will be calling PA Customer service tomorrow am to set up for returning this gun . I never bothered trying out the stock or power setting adjustments. AND , I went through about 35 patches to clean what looked like rust , not shipping grease ! Note ; this is my 5th pcp gun & I'm an experienced powder burner & former M60 machine gun trainer ,so i know something about "mature toys"!
