The feel of the gun is nice and heavy. It looks just like the real deal as well.

The magazine is not heavy enough for how tight the tab that holds it on, is sprung it's a little hard to remove the magazine.

Sights.

A fun shooter and an accurate replica. The trigger is pretty good in double action and really good in single action. I know the sights faithfully replicate the original Makarov, but they are very hard to use compared to larger 3-dot sights. I like that the safety lever is located (and works) like the real Makarov. I get 4 magazines per C02 cartridge. This gun shoots really tight groups at 10 yards, but my sample's point of impact is about 1" to the right of point of aim. If you like C02 pistols, you love this Umarex Makarov.

Fit, Feel, Finish, attention to detail, single, double action. Did I leave anything out? You fill in the blanks. This is a very fine pistol for the money.

Perhaps a matte finish??

This pistol will fit in an original MAC holster very nicely. Available for less than $10.00. And you will have room for the extra mags when they come available. Pyramid has no idea about extra mag availability at this time. Umarex does not either. Go figure!!

Good to see this piece finally available. Fit and finish are first class, though the slide does provide a slight rattle, but does serve to cock the action. It is a spitting image of the real steel version in heft and fit, a piece to be proud of. Fun to shoot, nothing to brag about here - steel BB's from a short barrel. but fun is the name of this game.

Would be real cool as a blow-back, but given the power source it's asking a bit too much. The functional slide is good enough.

Though not covered in the manual this piece partially disassembles as the original by pulling down the trigger guard and pulling the slide back off its groove then up and forward. I would not attempt taking it apart beyond this point.

What a fun little pistol, a dead ringer for the real thing...if you own a real Makarov, this would seem to be a must-have addition to your collection! Surprisingly accurate, reliable, and a real joy to shoot- do yourself a favor and get one!

I would like the grip to be a bit more secure, other than that, nothing!

It is close to the real Max. Feels good, solid, accurate, and a joy to shoot. The C02 cartridge is powerful, and easy to insert. All and All a very good pistol. Feels like the real thing.

Would have white dot sights or fiber optics. Other wise not much to change.

As others have said, it's very similar to the real Mak. I especially like the trigger which is fairly close to the double action pull of my Mak. It's great trigger practice. It has a steel magazine which I find easy to load once I got the hang of it. Accuracy is good, given that it is smoothbore and I would say accurate to 7 or 8 yards.

Not much you can change and still be authentic.

It's a Mak practice gun. Good way to practice your Mak techniques. It's not blowback, which means there should be fewer moving parts to break down, you get greater velocity and more shots from your C02.

solid, same size and weight as the real thing. makes for good practice indoors. my eyes aren't what they were but every shot hit the target at 30-35 ft. great price too.

It looks exactly like the 9X18's that I have. It is lots of fun to shoot, and the C02 cartridges seem to last a long time.

Would like for the magazine to be a little easier to load.

Most accurate bb gun I have tried. Very nice glossy finish on metal. this is an all-metal pistol except for the plastic grips. Probably the smallest pistol available, similar to the PPK/S. I like the grips and pointability better than the PPK/S. Safety works well and is in the right place for the thumb. Fits nicely in an Uncle Mike's No. 1 holster. Very nice trigger pull in double action. Single action pull OK, crisp but a little heavier than I like. Magazine drops out very freely, be ready to catch it! Sights give a good, sharp picture, but are small, like most pocket pistols. Full takedown disassembly like the PPK/S.

The single-action trigger pull could be a little lighter. As it is now, it actually lifts the hammer slightly before it falls. Adjustable sights, as an option? Really not necessary on a pocket pistol plinker.

the magazine is a little tricky to load if you are clumsy like me. There are two holes at the top, and the trick is to cover one with a finger while you put bb's in the other hole. Otherwise the bb's fall straight out again. Spare mags not available yet, but Umarex says they will be soon.

Great and accurate feel. As close as you can get without having a real one.

Nothing really, it was accurate to feel and function to the original firearm

this looks look the real thing-has the weight of a makarov- fun to shoot. very fast action- don"t for get to stop shooting and let the gun heat up so you can continue to fire at full power.

I own two original Makarovs, a Russian and an East German. With the exception of the CO2 cylinder knob on the bottom of the magazine, this a dead ringer for the Russian Makarov. It field strips just like it also: Pull down on the trigger guard, pull the slide to the rear and lift the slide right off. Using lead BBs, the accuracy is quite acceptable for plinking. This new toy allows me to do a lot of practicing in the back yard, for a few pennies, without disturbing the neighbors. The last 50 rd box of 9X18 Makarov set me back $25 bucks at a local gun store.

The weight and feel are very close to the real Makarov. The trigger pull is not nearly as nice as the real one. Fit and finish are very good. No Makarov collection should be without one.

Well made. I like that it's all metal. This is my first CO2 gun so I can't compare to others, but I love this one!

It looks exactly like the rest of my Makarovs, so far the co2 lasts a very long time. Workmanship seems to be very good. I am very pleased with my purchase.

Nothing

The Makarov has good weight and balance. It has decent accuracy, more than enough for plinking and some target work (although it obviously isnt match grade). Fit and finish is excellent for a gun at this price point, has a great authentic look. I compared it to one of my real 9X18mm Makarovs and my feeling is very favorable about this air gun. I especially like that it takes down just like the real deal (trigger bow down, slide back and up).

Firstly, I think the method by which BBs are held in the magazine should be worked on a little. Sometimes, after you fill the magazine, when you release the magazine spring BBs spray out of the top. I have had a couple magazines empty themselves very quickly. Secondly, the one piece grip slides backwards to allow insertion of the CO2 bottle. This is a great feature, but the clips which hold the grip forward are not all the positive, so on occasion the grip loosens in you hand and slides back a little. This point is a big deal, as it is not too much work to just tighten your hand and relock the grip. I would like to see the clips have a little more hold however.

I cant say enough about Pyramid Air, I ordered two of these Makarovs late Saturday night and had them in hand Tuesday afternoon, I am not even sure how that was possible as most UPS shipments require at least two business days. I am not complaining though. =)
